  1. I have a specific concept from my DnD days, that needed to be sword, and I grudgingly did BA. Thinking it would be forever for the Broadsword to be proliferated. I now need to think of a new concept and re-name the toon...

    The biggest problem is that SD is soo horrible till you get to lvl 50! I don't know which is worse, getting the BA/SD up to 50 or cathedral of pain with only 1 team.
  2. I have mixed fealings. I have been suffering through 40 levels of Axe/Shield because I had given up all hope on there being a broadsword primary any time soon.... So as with every proliferation we are faced with this dilemma, the characters we had hoped on butt settled with something else... what to do with them...?

    Not having to pay for anything would be great but the game is better off when it's making money.
    I am with you on this one Forbidn_Project. The more money they get the better off we are so long as we get decent bang for your buck. If we don't give them money, then we will be looking at City of Heroes 2 even sooner, and that might mean that all our current characters could go to the trash heap, and all the money spent on this game would be lost. If they are able to get decent amount of money from this game that means a greater chance, IMHO, that they will continue the current game till they can develope a new game engine compatible with our current characters to transfer over to. I know this sounds like a stretch, but that is how I see it.

    Every single ranged attack power could be made an alt animation to work with the a set of gloves, but still work with out the gloves. Problem solved.

    That isn't completely true. One of the tricks of games and animation is that some animations could be used for all polearm or two handed swords. Honestly I don't know why we really have a different set between the axe and sword sets, they use the same animations really.
