I wonder if it will have a seperate BM/WW? so even more problems getting recipes/salvage

jsut bought a 52 inch lcd tv, want to hook it up to my 1 gig nvidia 285,but I want to keep using my 28 inch viewsonic also, are duel montors still buggy? from what I have read on my tv I just need a SVGA HD15 cable,and I have a avail dvi with a svga adaptor,so the hooking up should be simple

I am curious on the cost,I know they can't say anything about it,but I can not remember any expansion of a game costing more than the original game(special deluxe sets excluded),and as the current price can be as low as 19.95,wonder what this will cost.and I assume that it will be avail as a download ,so no packging costs.

well i admit to a bit of frankslotting, but that is what ED was ment for ,at least the D part,I personally hope that HO go back to their orignal power lvls(50% vs 33%), and the adding of the set was to make up a bitfor the lower numbers, and if we were not allowed to put taunts in our attacks why would it be allowed? thank you for your input,

I have a lvl 50 SS/WP tank, fun build ,when I got in range I slotted 3 hamis(dam/acc) and 2 recharg and 1 end rdx in each attack, this has worked fine , but I was looking and noticed
that each power took taunt sets,so I slotted a sub set with 1 of the chance for psi damage(I checked it does about 88points when hits)and a taunt duration,and taunt/range/recharge. with 3 perfect zingers I also get a 10% regeneration with each attack, so in a fight , I am constant activating them.

My question is while the set bonuses are nice any "better" suggestions? for the slotting, Other than a purple set?

if I drop one of the hamis ,iand and another zinger I get a 5% recharge,but feel that it is not worth it.

any thoughts would be nice, I also wanted to boost the taunt,as I understand WPhas one of the weakest taunts in the game.

i followed the amamzon build in the guides, worked for me ,now at 50 im personlizing it, like all my ss attacks ,have 3 hamis(dam/acc) and i have 3 perfict zingers in each, taunt,taunt/range/recharge,and chance for psi damage, at lvl 50 i do a extra 88 points of damage, so far after running aitf and some AE misison , i find theonly problem is a bit of end managment,nothing i can not handle

my biggest fear is what happened on the last expansion, we got COV which was a good thing, but they sneaked in ED along with it, based on past actinos, I can not but help wonder if some sort of (for lack of a better term)ed 2.0 will not come along with it,while it may not be a true ed 2.0 it may be some kind of reshuffling or nerfing of our chars, i rememeber the forums exploding with angey posts and such.,yet not 2 days eariler we were all happy about the announcment that we would not be charged extra for having both games.and getting 4 extra slots for our new cov chars.maybe at the timeof the expansion, they may decide to raise the monthly
fees or some such,and as long as they do not force the new "morality" playig on me and it is optional ,ill be happy

well i got on pinnacle and had mostly a good time,was able to get the pvp badges in atlas on my 4.5 year old semi retired emp/psi def,after ED she was retired and most of my badge hunt has gone by the wayside,without worrying about griefers, and the power reduction in pvp zones ,fighting the AVs was fun,was able to get teh villian versions on my 2nd oldest villian a stalker,some players were not happy due to it made getting MA team harder(1 day event vs many, a no brainer), the only real complaint I hear was it was a weekday, and some players who can only play weekends had to miss out.seemed like in AP it was raining vilians at times we have multiple copies of LR and the gang by Ms liberity, yet we had to do a multi zone hunt for statesman and crowd, finaly found them all on top of the radio tower or ontop of the pymarmd, talk about a slide show, all the aoe and stuff, clicking was almost impossible,there were less villians so it was a bit eaiser to get badges, i had to help defeat sirrocco 5 times to get the 10% needed for the badge as all the villians were swamped in AP by 80+ heros

look if a person wants to farm, why not let them? who are they hurting? the object of this game is to have FUN, you should not be able to dictate what i should be doing to have fun and i should not do the same to you

well if you think about it if you use the same toon to test with
after about 6 month of playing and testing you should get close, badges were not designed to get overnight

a bigger problem is the chicken and the egg, the dev set really high numbers needed for any badge, and when the players start farming to get the badges, they act like it is all our fault
if they were reasonable numbers we mostly would not farm(some will allways)

With the Possibility of over 600 Badges, having to to a manual total or use a web site is wrong, Given the badges are now sorted, why can't there be on the selection bar a total for each? for example:

Defeats (47)
History (112)

instead of the curent non-numberd choices, and maybe on the nav bar next to the Badges a grand total,

It should be simple to add(Famous Last Words, LOL)

badges are flakey, you willnot get it til the exact sec you pass it so logging in the right day but before that you will get nothing

it seems to me ,that the time has come to replace the current engine, more and more it is holding us back from getting what we want,while a great job has been done reto-fitting upgrades, maybe the time has come to start over,

look as a start 3 seems ok, they just dont want us to put a lot of junk on the servers

well like any new feature it will take a bit of time to learn how to use it, a person may post a arc, get some constructive feedback, then release a more polished version

you culd create a very good misson, and not realise that a certain powerset can cake walk through it or another powerset have almost no chance,i do hope they put a section in the forums to discuss MA arcs

I wonder how much of a strain this will put on the servers,a "normal" misson takes X amount of system resources to play, if the online createing of misson takes more, then all the servers that are usally lag free, may start having troubles, will the other players who are not creating misson start getting poor performance?my second concern is documentation,it would be better for the players if we had a offline manual to read, and to use to "scratch out" the mission on paper, then go into it and build it much faster.

personally I think they are stringing us along with the merit system and the changes they make , they are in no hurry and can keep stringing us along, each month we keep waiting is another month for the game subscriptions,personnaly they can take the merits away and i would not miss them a bit,

the other big problem is if I only have a few hours to play , do i do a ITF or story arc? one give 3-6 merits and the other 20+, i nned 200 for a recipe(example) not really a tough choice, but after my 4th day of switchig between itf and lg , I start to get burnt out by the grind.hey i got a great idea instead of 1 day before DR kicks in make it 1 week,I am sure that will go over like a lead balloon.

why put out a patch the DAY before 2x weekend, most patches reuire a day or two sometime the "iron out" any un forseen problems. we only get 2 of these weekend a year and to do something just before that might mess it up is not preduent.

well i bought the pack, want to do my part for the company, that way they can brag they sold xx thousand of the mac version, of course not mentioning that 98% went to pc owners
