  2. Ok, yea, making the signature heroes get beaten up by empowered trolls was going a little too far. Especially since said trolls weren't that powerful.

Well, is there an ETA on Bio Armor? Won't be surprised if there isn't, normally a 'when its ready' sort of thing, but would still like to know.

    Ok, I give up!

The puking detoggles everything, I believe.
  5. Its true though, you can choose to not use incarnate powers or play them as you just getting stronger normally. As for the general public treating you like the best hero ever... well, you are. In the last SSA statesman was killed by Wade, and then you beat up Rulawade, who was Wade combined with a dimension eating monstrosity. This basically makes you stronger than Statesman, and everyone knows it.

Crotoa is pretty good too -except- that gods awful mission for defending the gate, -hated- that mission with a passion, and the less obnoxious but still very tedious defending the cairn finale.
I normally skip the gate defending mission. It really is terrible.

    Elx3 Dilemma

Electic is the weakest blast set in terms of damage. It sacrifices the damage for more utility, but that utility doesn't work very well. In i24 it will be getting its nuke upgrades along with all the others: crashless and lower recharge. This will help with sapping greatly.

I believe the devs have stated that they're aware that electric blast is under performing and will look into it at some point.

Personally I have an elec/elec. Was my first character I ever made. I still use him from time to time. When i24 rolls out I'll dust him off.
  8. Its been known for some time that by incarnate level, the player is more powerful than Recluse by a fair bit. In the Pandora's Box SSA it is acknowledged that the player probably could take down Arachnos single-handedly at this point, but that one person would be unable to keep control of all the Rogue Isles.

Oh look I'm a Cohort now.

Read a book on it once... The Hot Zone. Was pretty gruesome, but a good read nonetheless.
  10. No, it means 19% downloaded it and didn't think it was good enough to recommend, while 81% downloaded it and thought it was good enough to recommend. There is no % of people not downloading it because they didn't download it.

You're basically calling everyone who says the site is good a liar. I don't care if you download it one bit, but you're saying that no matter how many people say its good, how many reputable companies endorse it, or how little chance there is of you getting a virus, you still won't do it not because you don't want the service, but because you either:

A: think everyone is out to get you to download this and harm your computer

    or

B: don't want to because it will reveal that you aren't a special snowflake with horrible luck.

That... is sort of an interesting point. Rhode Island repeatedly single handedly repels a planet of hostiles with much higher technological capabilities.

The rikti just sort of suck.
  12. I really want on of the powers to let us turn into something awesome and kick 18 assorted kinds of *** for a short time. Like a dragon, a giant demon, or something of the sort.

Also? I don't get people complaining about balance issues with incarnate stuff. Its very purpose is to make you OP. There aren't any balance issues because it isn't meant to be balanced, its meant to be awesome. If you don't want to be awesome, don't become incarnate and let us keep our awesome.
  13. That... actually does make the Talons better. Especially since the Devouring Earth are one of my favorite factions.
  14. What about /Electric? Since the regen/recovery boost is getting added to Lightning Clap, that would put it at the slight disadvantage of having to not be in the middle of a mob to avoid scattering them all over whenever you want the buff.
  15. That is really kinda silly. There is internet safety and then there is paranoia. If you have a good antivirus program, multiple people saying its safe, open codes, the maker's names out in the open, and you still don't trust it, then you're being overly paranoid. Because at this point you're thinking that dozens of people are conspiring to hurt your computer.

I dont know anything about this site anymore than I know about some site from Russia with obvious weird coding and just because someone says "oh it's ok" that means I'm suppose to shrug it off and downlaod it. The point being, I dont understand how this thing works and what exactly it does, I know what the sight says, but it sure as hell dont explain exactly how it works, and if I dont understand something I aint downloading it no matter how much anti-virus stuff I have. If I dont understand a site, they may get ISP and city from me just visiting the site and that even makes me a bit uneasy. If someone came to my doorstep and I dont feel right about letting them in, they aint coming in, I dont care if Jesus, Allah, Buddha or the Dahlai Lama, combined was vouching for them.

And with that train of thought, how is it that you downloaded CoH?
  17. Dawn, you keep saying that, but my Extracted Essences ARE out three at a time and almost never die.
  18. The Think Tank back in the shop.
  19. Or maybe we realize the Well was all a Nemesis plot and Incarnate powers are just us being awesome.
  20. Me, then Mother Mayhem, then Nemesis.

Westin Phipps doesn't even measure a blip on the malevometer.

I on the other hand have reached to level of over 9,000 kilonazis.
  21. Chainsaw chainsaw chainsaw CHAAAAIIINSAAAAWWW

I'm buying it JUST FOR THAT.

    The rest is a bonus.

    TITAN WEAPON CHAINSAW
  22. So Grandville and Mercy Island would be the last strongholds of Arachnos.

Sounds awesome. Bout time someone shook things up.

Though I must point out that currently in the Pandora's Box SSA, villains are starting to oppose arachnos with an organization of their own, and have currently recruited the sky raiders, the warriors, and a lot of researchers.
  23. It is true that nothing plays quite like a MFing Warshade.
  24. So far the score seems to be:

    Keep them exclusive: 1

    Make them available: Everyone Else
