Quote:... Why?For op's question. Before april I was looking for new slots and was very excited about them. At the beginning of april I was like OMG give them now. In the middle of april I was like NOOOOO bring it back. When i23 went live well lets just say I canceled my subscription which was a 6month one and re-subscripted at the beginnng of april so now I am waiting for it to end and don't plan to resubscribe for a long long time.

Quote:There is an obvious solution to this. It's not going to. Bases are for the most part broken and there are other things out there that probably aren't getting looked at like fixing the numerous spelling errors in this game. I think that the dev.'s are trying to fix what problems they can and fix which problems may be most visible. I believe this issue is thinking of the future of this game more than anything.
Look, the economy's crap, M.M.O.'s all across the board are losing players simply because the main demographic for them has grown up, and the dev.'s know that a nearly ten year old game can only last for so long. They're probably putting through as many fixes they can this issue so it can last much longer on life support than it normally would. I applaud them for this issue and for doing what they can to polish off as many systems in the game as they can before they eventually have to downsize in the coming years.
They're giving us most of the fixes and customization options that we've been requesting for years in the coming issue. Good on them for pulling through. In my opinion, it's probably one of the best issues they'll be coming out with in some time.

I meant player heroes.
-
Meh, we have enough heroes. Could do with some 'accidental casualties.'
-
What I really want to know... is when are we getting that pirate guy's costume?
-
Oooh, using bio armor to look like plant matter, didn't think of that.
-
Hero 1 would make a great replacement for Libs. That is, if the Vanguard ever let him leave the base.
-
Well tough. Blaster secondaries are melee and support, not just melee. That'd be like giving Doms an entire ranged blasting set.
Also, those asking for a port of Super Strength specifically are probably unconcerned with any that aren't the following: Rage, Footstomp, Knockout Blow.
Anything else could be replaced with no complaints whatsoever.
Not that I agree with that view. -
Well, in that case I could see Pendragon OR Aurora doing it, but it'd be more likely that BaBs ends up standing there and those three are scattered around the city and the isles.
Because currently BaBs is the only one that doesn't do anything, I believe. Except states and sister, but they're dead so they can take a break. BaBs just stands around in a police station, I think. -
Well you need to replace a melee attack with something. As is it has 7, compared to the normal 3-5. If the animation could be done, something unique like Choke Hold would be neat. Hold an enemy and let an ally beat up on them for bonus damage.
-
A combo system in an armor set sounds like more trouble than its worth. If you're a stalker with street justice or staff melee, you already have two combo systems to keep track of.
-
They didn't even switch Libs out when they put her in IP for the STF. I don't think anything will knock her off that pedestal, let alone some praetorians in spiffy costumes.
-
It is better to avoid a mez in the first place than resist it. Even if you have enough resistance that t mez lasts a mere second, you'll still lose all your offensive toggles.
-
MMs do need more powersets, but... I think the exchange rate is one pet set to three normal sets. So much more work its ridiculous.
That said I still want Pirates. -
i24 looks great, but I don't think those three will be standing in Atlas like that. Looks like a posed shot.
-
Gonna have to side with Stone here. I don't see the point in being a kheldian if I don't get to be an ethereal werelobster and an eldritch squid.

Quote:I'd take out Haymaker and replace it with Build Up. Also increase Stand Firm duration to 45 seconds so it can be perma on SOs. Other than that, looks pretty good. It's also occurred to me that, balance issues aside, Rage doesn't make much sense for blasters. If I get angry I can hit harder with my fists, but not with Assault Rifle bullets (angry bullets?).
Here is how I would adapt SS to blasters:
1) Mighty Shove (High KB and repel). A throw would be better, but harder to animate.
2) Punch
3) Hurl
4) Stand Firm (click, 30s duration, 90s recharge) +15% To Hit, KB protection, To hit debuff resistance
5) Haymaker
6) Tough (auto) +10% max HP, +recovery, mag 4 Immob protection, resist slow
7) Hand Clap
8) Knockout Blow
9) Foot Stomp -
Quote:If we ever get Air Blast, I won't rest until we have alternate air guitar animations.well, given that my main character is a dragon, i wouldn't mind an emanation point in the mouth (strangely, sounds dirty) I suppose one issue is that powers animation times would have to match the original animation cast time. for most sets the casts arent too long that shouldn't look too awkward, but a maybe some of the snipes may look silly standing there huffing and puffing. I also wouldnt mind guns, wands, and maybe a guitar. yes, fine, i want to blast hellions with lightning guitar riffs, dont judge me. :P

Someone should sing this and make a youtube video to a bunch of blaster deaths. The more hilariously bad the singer, the better.
-
Envenomed Blades does seem to make the set, due to how little resisted toxic is. Trick Shot looks very fun, though. The facing cone should probably be made longer to account for the difficulty in aiming.

Incarnate content progressing linearly doesn't make it endless.
Now if it were a loop, that'd be endless.
