Depends, how'd he come back?
If he came back through sheer force of will to protect Paragon, I'd say natural. If he came back through some ritualistic means, magical. -

Quote:I agree. So long as you give it to me.Giving players the power to spawn mobs, teleport between zones (at will), be invisible, invincible and untargetable and able to one shot other players sounds like a solid plan to me.
I'm sure my villains wouldn't use it to destroy paragon.

Out of 24 people, it is very likely that at least one person is AFK. Any more than one, and it gets more and more unlikely.

Try a stalker, they don't get that power.

Please, enough with the puns. I can't take it anymore. My eyes are bleeding.

There is an obvious solution to your problems. Just don't leave in the first place.
Stay here.
With us.
Forever. -
I want a villain mission where we conquer the moon and build a moon base with an orbital death laser.

Quote:That's absurd. Nature is, if anything, above average.NA brings nothing but green number spam and mediocre buffs on long cooldowns to a team. Make it a concept toon if you plan on keeping it. Your concept will dictate the archetype.
If you're looking for something that plays like nature without being bad, roll thermal instead. If you're looking for something that solos well, brute.
If you're banking on nature being buffed eventually, I'd lean toward nature/rad defender if you can't do IOs, rad/nature corruptor if you can. Defender's in a better position to shut down enemies with -tohit, +defense, and +resist powers without IOs. Corruptor makes up the difference with IOs plus gets crits and no teaming penalty. -
They're new in the sense that this is the first time they've been in the shop.

/em epileptic trees theory
Arachnos has gotten a foothold in Founders Falls, that is where they're putting a black helicopter. They closed off the connection to Talos. -

I'd choose the new Celestial Armor over the old, if I had the choice. But currently, I am a mere T7. But at the rate I spend money, I'll be T9 before the end of the year.
That said, Dink, is there a reason we can't have the long beard option with hoods? If it clips with some hoods, then people could just not use it with those hoods. It would really help my new Peacebringer out. -

Quote:Well, Arachnos has quite a bit of psychic and toxic damage. Also mezzes. Not a very good first test for anything.I got my Peacebringer to 38 and Light Form. I'd been doing quite good the entire way. I'd just gotten the power (the animation set to Wispy for classicness
) and the team I was on starts the next mission (Arachnos).
Before the first group, I hit Light Form (which puts me to the hard cap for all but psi/toxic). I run in, alongside an /Invuln Brute... I immediately get stunned and start wobbling around. I immediately thought 'wait, Light Form was supposed to grant you mez protection, this can't be happening!' and... a moment later I'm dead (and so was the /invuln Brute).
Long story short: I realized Light Form provides practically no mez protection (~2.6 when you get it, 3.something at 50). After going a few more missions, I shelved that PB. Didn't even play any Sunday.
Oh well, so much for getting a 50 that I could seriously play through the Incarnate content (especially DA) with. At least First Ward and Night Ward were fun (even if the Animus Arcana repeatedly handed me my ***!).
Oh, you said fun. -
How about the ability to use the Large Beard with the Hood?
Oh, and the think tank back in the shop. -

Quote:If you're talking SO's then Masterminds have the clear advantage. They can easily take out AVs and even GMs without any IOs at all.True. I'm so addicted to inspirations I intuitively had the "pop pills to manage PA/decoys mishaps" mindset even though I was trying to talk about non-inspiration play, heh.
As for meleers - yeah, you're likely right as well. New stalkers can put out such impressive DPS numbers a spiderlings + DM + defense powerset build might get somewhere. I could see a granite brute getting good results against most AVs, too; or a TW/resistance set combining Defensive Sweep with resistances. It's tricky finding the balance between decent survivability, sustainability and damage on SOs/common IOs. Against a theoretical AV lacking resistances or any special power it looks about alright, but even dealing with something as little as 20% res can make a fight impossible, and there's so many AVs out there with some resistance to S/L - which takes a significant amount of powersets out of play. -
Quote:I'm not telling them how to play. I'm just saying that the only point in a petless MM is the whips or the beast blasts. Because there are no other attacking powers that would make it a concept exclusive to a petless MM.No, the purpose of MMs - and any character - is to allow the player to bring a concept they want to try to life. Just like every other AT, powerset, and power choice (or lack of choice) they make.
Let them do what they want. It doesn't make the slightest bit of difference to how anything in game works for you. If you have such a problem with them, don't invite them to your teams. "Problem" solved.
And I would have no problem inviting a petless MM to my team, if they had a reason other than "I want to be gimped for the sake of being gimped!" Even then I'd probably still invite them, because I generally only don't invite people that really, really annoy me. -

Quote:Yep for some reason lost in the mists of time Endurance Discount powers use the Stun attribute scalars to determine their strength. Since Controllers get stronger mez attributes than Defenders they also get stronger Endurance Discount powers.
And no, that doesn't make any sense to me either. Endurance restoration and Endurance Recovery powers do not scale for different ATs so I'd expect Endurance Discount powers to do the same.
I plan to make a Necro/Nature mastermind, actually. But my second choice would be a controller.
