Ooh, I think I can see where this is going. Stan and Lou have one last contact off of that fortune cookie they were given. Now they've been told about the Terra Volta Respec Trial, and just who do we Heroes fight in said trial?

    [/ QUOTE ]
At their level? Gee... uh... I dunno. That would imply that this whole thing is somehow planned.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Come now. You've said yourself that their threat level is in the twenties. They're actually close to to the right level for that anyway.

Only two things concern me about my own hypothesis. One, you've mentioned a voice for Castillo, so that would make it difficult for them to actually be IN the trial. And two, <deleted by M I Abrahms>

Thanks everyone, its a great honor and privilege to be featured in a comic

Now if I can get the dev team to make a statue of me I will have everything a hero could ask for

    [/ QUOTE ]

What, and not ask for your own personal badge?

    [/ QUOTE ]

I think the badge goes on the statue.

  4. Who knew Stan was right?

(the video Posi is talking about is here)
  5. So who here has actually tried making the superhero known only as 'The Man in the Hat'?

That's not what I have in mind for the Sky Raiders, Ein_Dose... but why do you say so?

    [/ QUOTE ]

It might be because of some of the things he says when you fight him. It kind of paints him in a 'fancy' light.

    30 - Siren's Call
    31 - Cap au Diable
    32 - Sharkhead Isle
    33 - St. Martial
    34 - Nerva Archipelago
    35 - Warburg

    [/ QUOTE ]

Ooh, it's a hard choice in Cap between Peter Themari and Dimitri Krylov. I think it might be tough to do something in Sharkhead and St. Martial without mentioning the Coral and the Giza, respectively.

Personally, now that I know it's coming I can't wait for Warburg. The Nukes the Web, the rogue Arachnos, and Stan vs Lou - because it's every man for himself there.

I need me some episode 19!!!!

    Episode 19 for I9?
  9. Hang on. The Fortunata said that the plan would have worked. "We will have been going to have paid them their money and they would have just put it right back in the bank." (EDIT: went back and got the right quote)

The plan would have worked, they would have given Arachnos 100k Infamy that the organization would no longer have access to, but since it would have been a net gain of zero for Arachnos, the Fortunata got their heads all turned around enough so that they dropped even the idea of attempting the bank job, which was how the conversation got started in the first place.

And if I was Stan, I would have shown up to the Fortunata's anyway. She already said she would have been going to say yes.
  10. Huh. I'm racking my brain and I can only think of two mutant villain groups in either City. Outcasts and Lost. The Corolax we've seen so far are Humans altered by the coral of Sharkhead, but with the tie in to the Leviathan, I'm not sure if they're mutant or magic.
  11. Granted the Troll boss was a bit long winded (and that's something I never thought I'd say) but there were a few real gems in there, including the " blasters wouldn't take him, too smart" that I fear may have awakened my roommates.
  12. Well, just an FYI, at least one of these has now seen internet radio-play. DJ Jester off of w00t Radio played the Breakout one after tonight's Jester's Court.

How will the people who don't have CoV be able to get into Grandville?

    [/ QUOTE ]

It'll be an instanced outdoor map I'm sure. You wont be going to the actual villain zone.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Besides, if you have CoH, you have the maps and zones of CoV. You just don't have access without the CoV code.
  14. I was wondering when that thread would get mentioned. I'm noticing a pattern. If they want to put up official discussions of the big interviews, it might be better if they started setting them up before users found them and started their own threads.

EDIT: Though, the link to the interview doesn't have the RV shot. I wonder if someone on the CoH team got the wrong picture in there.
  15. Yeah, I noticed the Pillbox as well. Gah, I have to see what the Tangle is all about now! Honestly, when it was just Bane Spider chatter, I didn't really care that much.
  16. Heh, I'm down to two left of my main who's been around for almost two years now. What I'm waiting for is the response from those who burned vet tokens/respecs to hear that there will be freebies shortly.
  17. [ QUOTE ]
If you can select patterns for it, look and see if there's a pattern at the end of the list that matches the costume name and it should fix the problem.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Quick note: There are actually two Sinister patterns. The pattern you can pick from the drop down list is available on every matching peice that allows patterns, this is a Spider along both sides of your body.

The other Sinister pattern only works with the Sinister costume pieces and it works just like the Armor Plate pattern for the Armor Plate top. If you do not have a patters set for either the chest or bottoms and you hit the reset button to the side of the pattern menu you sill get the other version. In addition to the Spider pattern, all the buckles along your sleeves and knees/legs will have the secondary color as well.

(ok, maybe not so quick a note)

That explain where the Lone Contaminated in RV came from... Somehow...

    [/ QUOTE ]

He broke free alright... broke free of the whole freaking timeline!

    [/ QUOTE ]

Contaminated...secretly the strongest group in CoH.

    [/ QUOTE ]

If Contaminated take hits of Outbreak long enough, they eventually trip so hard that they can travel through time and space.

[/ QUOTE ]Is this trip really necessary?
  19. Um, I'll admit I haven't read the whole thread, if this has been said before I'm sorry and feel free to ingore, but:

Ok, the argument seems to be SGs loosing out on Prestige while Villains get the Infamy badge to run the TV contact. Why can't the person who just made 20 Mil Inf head back to the SG contact and turn it into Prestige?
  20. Ok, I just got done with a good two hour test. I noticed that there's something in the description about what seems to be a temp power heavy. This in mind (and with the help of a couple good Heroes to spread the word to those with villain chat off) we managed to have an unsteady truce in RV.

The purpose of the truce was to keep the pillboxes in the zone nearly even, thus allowing the points bar to fill up. Even with crashes we were able to get a full bar in a little over an hour. There was nothing noticable when the bar filled up and the suggestion was put to talk to the NPC at base. Sadly, another crash happened and all scores reset to zero.

Do we have to take the zone with 1000 points to get the heavy, or report into a contact?
  21. Or roast some heroes if they're looking for the next damage badge.

  23. Out of curiosity...does anyone actually LET Aeon run? Just to sully the timeline even further I always do what I can to take out the runner first.
  24. EDIT: Not sure if Spoiler tags are needed for less than level 5 content, but I'm mentioning them to be on the safe side

That may actually reference a couple of missions. If your hero has the right origion and starts in Atlas he or she my get a patrol mission. If you keep your eyes peeled during it there's actually a skull spawn in Atlas for that patrol.

It's not an ambush but a placed spawn. If you can catch the locator text it's a group that's supposed to be nearly forcing 'Dyne on a couple of Civvies. That, and the mission that sends you to a 'Hellion' lair that's actually manned by Skulls, also in Atlas.
  25. Whoa. I didn't realise that's where she lives...I have family up there. (Boise) I need to go visit them just so I have an excuse to see Cimmy.
