The Contaminated Villain Backgrounder

New heroes to Paragon City are often asked to help out with a rioting gang of thugs, known as the Contaminated.

Short, but sweet.

If Contaminated take hits of Outbreak long enough, they eventually trip so hard that they can travel through time and space.

There was a villain mission where we plant outbreak in Kings Row, and that that is where the Tutorial OUTBREAK stems from.

Woot! I'm the one who took Bedlam Belle's screenshot! It worked out that my shot of her was the best one she was in, and the one she took of me was the best of Lektrik. Was really neat when the page loaded to see the shot I took as one of the winners! Too bad they spelled her name wrong. It's Kimberley, not Kimberly.

IIRC, doesn't the background say that there is a fear of the Outbreak virus being synthesized in the Rogue Islands? So maybe the Crey incident started the whole thing, but the villains are prepetuating it, so it can never be conquered.

Man, I didn't win Problem was, the demo wouldn't do ragdoll, and so my foot kept on clipping corpses, and one Charged Brawl (which I had to FAKE IN, ALONG WITH ELECTRIC EFFECTS AND CAPES) had a cape clipping issue

if you look at the new spawn compisitions in AP and GC you will notice that there are a few contaminated in gemini park (i think that is the name, the one by perez gateway), I don't know if they count towards the badge and they are not there all the time but while flying through the zone I found one once.

Those are not Contaminated. Those are Infected. Contaminated can only be found in Outbreak and the train station in Recluse's Victory. Only Contaminated, not Infected, count for the Isolator badge.

Don't worry about it CRICKET_of_Chaos - you aren't the first to think those Infected you saw might count for Isolator and probably won't be the last either.

Why some of those Infected couldn't have been Contaminated in the first place only Positron knows...

Actually with as many people who are getting confused by the AP and GC Infected I'm beginning to see a sneaky 'grand scheme' concerning RV Isolator. As if making RV Isolator laughably ridiculous wasn't enough by itself, Posi perhaps thought it'd be funny to make people who wanted Isolator waste even -more- time zooming around AP and GC sadly looking for Contaminated there amongst the newly placed Infected MOBs.

Will the deviousness of this man ever cease?
