Hmm thanks Kallandra. I did think it might be something like that but it actually stopped adding to the fire count before the bar was full so I thought that was all done and completed the bar with hellions. I'll try a few more fires later, bed is a higher priority at the moment.

You can probably tell I'm not much of a badge collector, just started a push for badges on Calamity this week - for a change of scenery

Anyone had any problems with the fire chief badge? Thought I'd ask here before raising a bug report or pestering a GM just in case it's a silly thing like the game not knowing it needs more fires put out than it thinks...

The badge progress bar is full and nothing happens when hovering the mouse over the bar but the badge hasn't been awarded. Bit of a pain after putting 100 fires out and putting down 100 of the pesky hellions that keep lighting them

Could that mission be part of an arc though? If so, it'll never be out-levelled.

I'd like to see more use made of the shadow shards, the place is such a waste at the moment. A lovely place to visit but once you've done the few TF's and gained a few badges for overseers and the like, there's no reason to go back.

A while ago we at least got BIG inspirations in the caves, they zapped that so there really is no point in going there even for those now. I do pop back there every now and then to remind myself what it looks like but there's nothing left there for my mains toons to do.

Possibly but having come quite attached to my main toons names after a few years I would really really hate to lose them...

Anyway, every single time a server merge has come up we've been told that it's not on the agenda. I really don't know why people keep bringing it up.

I've been here for nesrly 4 years and I really do love this game but if I lost my main toon names due to a merger I'd be gone faster than Lewis Hamilton crashes in the rain.

lol some people try to get the debt badges as soon as possible, I try to delay getting them as long as I can, once I get to 50 I start looking at things like that

Seriously though, blind invites do get a bit annoying after four years of the things. Might just seem like a click at first glance but that dialog has a bad habit of appearing right in the middle of the screen, right where you are trying to click to do something else. After being here for a long time, a lot of people find things to do which don't include meandering around defeating things and waiting for teams to be set up. For those people, that dialog is an intrusion.

Anyway, we are obviously going to have to agree to disagree on this one otherwise we'll be discussing it till GhostRaptor gets fed up and kills the thread.

I'd like an option to call in Ellen Ripley - she'll sort those pesky rikti out. Nuke them from orbit...

I'd rather they just despawned themselves after a while. Apart from a bit of fun (which wears pretty thin after the hundredth time) there's no point at all in taking on the paladin for instance.

They are for me too but I didn't see them coming, had just completed a fight with a nasty robot then got zapped from behind by these sappers and engineers. Got them on the rebound though, I knew that self rez would come in handy some day.

Might be worth a brief mention of the ISP that lagged people are using - not for blaming the ISP, the problem could be on the network somewhere and if there's a common ISP it may be easier to locate. Personally I've had no lag problems at all for ages.

My view is that if they don't want people farming they shouldn't have introduced a 'currency' system. Once they introduced that, widespread farming was inevitable. The cat's out of the bag now, no point trying to stuff it back in.

Sadly, there's not much point while the rewards for defeating a GM are so pitiful.

Just discovered the fastest way to put a level 50 regen scrapper down. Just send in a malta ambush consisting of 5 lowly minions. 2 sappers and 3 engineers - was held with zero endurance for the half dozen seconds it took to reduce health from 100% to zero. Was swearing at the thing for a while but can laugh at it now. Haven't had a defeat like that since she was in single figures

Correct me if I'm wrong, but your report of Wentworth's downtime coincides with the North American server maintenance window. All Auction servers are located in the US, hence when the US has maintenance the Auction Houses will be unavailable for a short period.
