So I was duo teaming with a SG-mate of mine and he was playing a Sword & Shield Scrapper, myself a Sonic/Sonic Defender. I had the resistance debuff aura on my Scrapper friend who was front lining. Right after he Sliced 3 baddies for nearly half their life, I hit Howl and all 3 minions rushed past the scrapper that just cut them for half their life and had the -resistance aura on screwing with them to beat up on my Defender who barely damaged them at all. Granted, I also just stacked the -resistance debuff on all of them too, and I used a cone. I'm just wondering, what was the more annoying factor, the cone or the -resistance? I've noticed my Crab Spider's attacks punching through taunted foes when I step up for the 3-cone chain. Do Area attacks cause more aggro, even if they do squat for damage? Does debuff trump area for annoyance? Was it just a random event? Any data would be cool.

I think this is part of the "we're gonna make use of all powers" kind of thing. Hurricane, Repel, that Sonic thing like Repel, Repulsion field, etc parked next to Harbinger would keep the ghoulies away while the melee folks could beat up on him. People FREAK about knock back so much that most people skip KB powers. So here's a reason to take 'em - just like for sword scattering in Apex. Now if we could just train brutes not to lose their damn mind when a minion is knocked 20 feet away, but then, they're bruties - losing their minds is kinda their bit. Anyway, it may be a chance for some of those usually reviled KB powers to shine.

I agree. I didn't like it when Protean was powering up about to do something. Being able to turn them off would be great.

The United States is currently on Daylight Savings time, so does this announcement mean the servers are down from 6AM to noon PDT? Is it that the “S” and the “D” key are close together and that this is a typo? Is this query the most petty and useless bit of net-picking ever?

Founder is a Midnighter, and so our base is sort of steampunk. General theme is that the toons in this SG are not idiots. Silly and thupid conceptualized toons don't really fit. These folks are educated and have a love of knowledge.
OOC Description: Very new SG, though everyone currently in it has at least over 4 years of playing. I got tired of my old SG's lack of activity and so created my own. Not really looking to recruit, but wanted to get some exposure in case there's some folks looking to get in on the ground floor and want to play with a casual bunch of people who know what they're doing. As the toons in the SG are expected to be learned, the players are expected to be knowledgable of the game and know how to team effectively. Communication over chatter in team-talk, asking questions, giving advice (watch out for proximity mines), basically just being solid. We have a base, a workstation, enhancement storage, and 'porters to the 6 most common hazard zones as trains and OB can get most other places plenty fast. Anyway, you may have seen us around in RtR, WSTs and periodic TFing, and we look forward to playing with all of you.

I'd like to be able to customize epic and patron pools. For example, I've got a blue flame customization for a fire/fire blaster, but when I got fire armor from the epic pool it was the original orange and unchangeable. So customizing these would be cool. Note, if my Icon-Fu is weak and I just missed where to select epic power at the tailor, ignore my ignorant ramblings.

So Night Fall in the manage enhancement window says it takes To Hit Debuffs, but also says in the IO Sets section right below that it takes To Hit Buffs. Turns out it won't take either Adjusted Targeting nor Dampened Spirits. Will this thing take IO sets at all?

Recap: Scrapper, Darkness Mastery, Night Fall - Buff & Debuff IO sets won't slot. Will the stated Targeted AoE work? Is this thing completely bugged and no IO sets will slot?

Thanks. Doubt many are on the Tracker, so not really what I need. A useful suggestion, but alas, doesn't get me the raw data from CoH. Looks like logging in and copying it down is what I'll end up doing. I wanted to just set up a weekly extract and port it to excel for analysis, but hey, I can update manuulay. Easier than herding cats (the players) and getting them to all use the tracker.

Anyone else know of another way for players to extract such data?

Is there currently a way availible for a player to download or otherwise extract a file containing all Supergroup characters names (bonus for prestige earned)? I'm only trying to do this for my supergroup - the one I founded and am redstar for. I'm sure I could do it manually, but I was just wondering if there's a way open to me (a simple player) to snag that data for export.

Just got a new laptop and installed CoH on it. When I was playing though I have a new graphical screw up: whenever I mouse over a clickable object (like a store employee or a glowie) the screen flickers. I've got my video settings on recomended since I was just trying it out, but I don't think it's a game setting that messing up. Surely someone else using Win 7 on a laptop has had this before. Anyone here? If so, do you know a fix?

So, how do I change the in-game font? I know it can be done, I just don't remember how. Just got a new laptop and was like oh no, l and I look the same again - gotta fix that. I like a font that uses a different graphic for a lowercase L and a capital I.

Anything nature-based would be great. I have TONS of plant/nature-based characters.
