  1. Well, I probably don't need fistful of arrows that much since it rarely hits more than one target, so I could always replace that with aid other, and aid other with aid self then budge the slots around.

  3. What's stumping me is planning an entire build in general! :P I haven't actually created the toon yet, I'm setting up a build in advance for it but powers, slots and all that jazz has got me too confuzzled to get ahead with it.
  4. Well the only problem with Aid self is that I have to kill off another power to fit it in, and I honestly can't see a power after 30 to do that :S
  5. Well I tried to plan my own Grav/FF troller build, but in all honesty I'm just not experienced with controllers or the powers enough to really make it work, so if anyone has any advice or even a build I could use, really appreciate it.

    ~ Hasten is only taken as an entry power; I actually rarely use it except maybe as a panic button and so don't see it necessary to waste the slots in a rarely used power

  8. Over my many RP characters, I, like many of you I'm sure, have made a few mercenary-esque characters. Now I'm sure you can all tell that the big problem with mercenary-esque characters is finding someone or some people to RP with, but only in terms of hiring you for missions, and then so forth. Course, this is easily remedied by joining a big supergroup and acting like a permanent mercenary, but what about finding said supergroup to hire you in the first place?   13. After previewing the uk and american boards I couldn't find an up to date build for a sonic/elec defender, so if anyone could show me one (enhancements and levels included), that'd be really appreciated.

  14. After playing my Trick Archer for 39 levels I have never had any major stamina problems. Although you may find yourself running out every once in while (usually after you use an EMP arrow) I never found it enough of an issue to require stamina. Heck more often than not I have my tray filled up with blue inspirations and just pass them off to teammates.

    In short, you more than likely won't need it.

    PvE btw, can't see myself doing much serious PvP outside of RP fights.

    See i want my build to have as many powers from Assult rifle and traps as possible, pools kept a minimum. This by no means has to be a maxed out build, but of course it needs to have some going power.

    Of course I could just take the powers at each level, but because I suck so much at slotting, that wouldn't be very good for me.

    So, any builds like this would be greatly appreciated

    Oh, and mace mastery epic if possible.

    Flash Arrow?

    As I've had much experiecne with Trick Archery with my TA/A defender Longshot Lorrie I can say the following things about Trick Arrow:

    1. It is a very nice debuff on top of our vast stock of 'em

    2. It's to-hit list prioritising on us can easily by countered by using it in the middle of a fight

    3. It's definitly a better choice than entangling arrow (Sorry Fleur XD)

  18. You wait too long to take Blazing arrow. With archery secondary, blazing arrow will be one of your main damage dealers, and I recommend you take blazing arrow at 10 and take swift at 16 instead (I'll leave it to you if you decide to move slots around, though it helps to slot it quickly).

    You might also want to see if you can fit stunning arrow in there, it's quite a good disorient.

  24. In the supergroup I'm a member of, The Power Corps, I've organised a giant monster hunt, but of course, we need plenty of people to take down all those giant monsters!

    We're meeting at 10 am GMT on Saturday 3rd of March, under the Atlas statue. Everyone is welcome, but be warned we'll most likely be taken on many different levels of monsters, including those in the higher level zones. We'll also try to put out fires in Steel Canyon but we'll most likely avoid the troll rave, as it could result in crash-worthy lag.

    The event will last 12 hours, from 10am to 10pm, and again, everyone is welcome to come!

    So if you feel like grabbing a few badges, or just coming for fun, be under the Atlas statue on Saturday!
