I rolled my Sonic/Archery defender last nite. His name is Beloved of Apollo and looks hot and also very talented (you guessed right he needs teams i hope this advertising is enough )

Liquefy is kind of equal to EMP arrow in trick archery in my book and i slot mine 3 tohit debuffs 3 rechg as an alpha them instead, get people out of the sinking ship and lower all acc power and is from experience more worth it than repulsion.

I wouldnt say liquefy is the greatest power but its had more well spent mileage than that repulsion.

Heals in vengeance can be moved into liquefy and become tohit debuffs and is prolly a nice little opener on AVs.

Here is the revised build. I wish a can include Medicine pool to the build, you know Apollo is the god who teach the humans art of medicine.

If i can collect all the sets in it, Archery will have a good damage and some other type of damage.

You wait too long to take Blazing arrow. With archery secondary, blazing arrow will be one of your main damage dealers, and I recommend you take blazing arrow at 10 and take swift at 16 instead (I'll leave it to you if you decide to move slots around, though it helps to slot it quickly).

You might also want to see if you can fit stunning arrow in there, it's quite a good disorient.

Last nite i hang around a bit with Beloved of Apollo and i think i can't continue this. Archery animation somehow lack of feel of power. At least one acpect i want him to be a archer. Only paths are TA/* , */ Archery or */TA (Controller).

Apollo is god of healin, sun, archery, music and art. I'm thinking about about TA/Sonic or Son/NRG but still can't sure about if i want sonic primary. As a FF defender i think FF is better than Sonic. Sonic's only upside is having mez protection in it. (FF has mez protection in it with Dispersion Bubble but it doesn't protect against sleep. Sleep is the soft spot of the FF)

Anyway if you think a better combination for representing Apollo all ideas welcome.

Heh i finally made him Rad/Archery. Radiation seems like a good idea for Divine entity related powers. Blessings (RA & AM), curses (EF, LR & RI), vengeance (Fallout), Boon of life (Mutation) and protection (CC).

So fellow Unionites get ready to witness power of Apollo.

I reached lvl 8 with Beloved of Apollo. Aaaand i think i am in love with Rad/Archery. I must admit i have doubts about Rad/Archery but after getting my debuffs and saw that you don't drop your bow while debuffing, yeah Archery is better with Radiation than Sonic. Only downside is you have to drop your bow for healing.

So here's my current build. Not happy with it that much so many powers to take.

I have a Rad/Archery. I'd be tempted to slot the 4th and 5th slots of AM at 11 so you get closer to full recharge AM at low levels. A well slotted Radiation Infection only makes a big difference once you start using SOs IMO.

Also I completely got away with not slotting any of the Archery powers for ACC. You have a DO worth of accuracy for free, so against Radiation Infected foes, you don't really need any more, even without a defence debuff.

I know it's not on your list, but don't get Explosive Arrow, it's the ultimate useless knockback power ( 50% chance of knockback IIRC ), ideal for getting enemies out of your debuffs.

Fistful of Arrows is good though, despite being a bit cheesy.

Personally I'd get Hasten earlier, probably in the 20s.

Hmm okay no more worries for lefting Explosive Arrow behind.

If i fit it somewhere i can get hasten but i can't decide which power to push back.

Also personally i want to add recall friend into that build for Av fights. You know let one sacrifice himself. TP him to a safe spot buff team. Later TP him middle of the group than Fallout. And if that person is a Blaster, Mutation + Nova.

You know being a harbinger of a Divine Entity isn't easy.

I'd personally drop the Leadership Pool. You already have some damage buffs / res debuffs and defence debuffs so your team should be doing enough damage and hitting enough. Rad already has enough toggles to be annoying when they drop.

Really? I thought Vengeance will be good. But if you say i won't need it i will be more happy to drop that thing and get some nice things instead of them.

Vengeance probably would be good, it's a nice buff, but I prefer not to rely on people dying as it is situational, so unless you find it is the case I'd not dedicate 5 powers to that eventuality ( Leadership pool, Fallout and Mutation ). Just Fallout and Mutation is probably fine.

Assault and Tactics are good, but I would expect Fistful of Arrows and Hasten would add more to a team, especially as Hasten makes AM up more often and speeds up the recharge of dropped toggle debuffs.

On a build with less offensive debuffery or one that needs accuracy I would keep them, I have them on both my Kin and FF defenders.

I left leadership instead took Recall Friend and Choking Cloud (which i still have doubts about putting sets or not), as i don't like EM Pulse i will get it at lvl 49. Or maybe if i feel short of attacks i will get Fistful of Arrows instead of it.

EM pulse totally rocks!! Beats any troller primary AoE hold hands down all the time. Mind the recov drop which can be annoying, but managed quite easily with 1 or 2 blues.
Just take it...

Power of Zeus. He maybe looks like another Rad/Archery hero but his powers comes from Ancient Greek Gods. Mostly from Apollo, who's granted the powers to this young man. I also decided to change fly with Super Speed as it will reflect speed of Hermes. If you look this build in the manner of arcade game type, Thunder Strike is BoA's Mega Move. (I know there's also Total Focus for representing godly might but Zeus is God of Thunder and i can get Thunder Strike at lvl 41)

Elec Mastery is fantastic. The armour is solid, THUNDERSTRIKE ROCKS *coughs* and Powersink is ideal to stop end crashes after EMP

Final build here. He's already lvl 10 i can't wait for lvl 16 to get my last debuff. But i want to excuse from my future team mates, i can't heal because i don't want to loose my bow. If you need debuffs here i am if you need heal go elsewhere.
