Over my many RP characters, I, like many of you I'm sure, have made a few mercenary-esque characters. Now I'm sure you can all tell that the big problem with mercenary-esque characters is finding someone or some people to RP with, but only in terms of hiring you for missions, and then so forth. Course, this is easily remedied by joining a big supergroup and acting like a permanent mercenary, but what about finding said supergroup to hire you in the first place? So, I'm making this little thread to allow anyone with a mercenary or mercenaries to post their advertisements, and if you're looking for one, then you can browse through our options! If you're advertising, then just post here with this simple information:
Name of Hired Help: (Simply your name, easy enough)
Type of help for hire: (This isn't just restricted to fighting remember, it can also extend to other skills, such as tracking or investigating)
Preferred way to be hired: (Just whether you'd prefer to be emailed in game or telled in game, etc. If you can't weave this into your ad then simply make it blunt)
Really those are the only two things you really need to post, and of course it can be in any style you want!
For example:
Looking for dirt on Statesman? Want to know Lord Recluse's private schedule? After Manticore's Brownie recipe? Then look no further! Lorrie Lonshon (A.K.A Longshot Lorrie) is here to help you! As a fully trained PI, Lorrie has the skills to track down the dirt and deliver it back to you in the smallest frame of time! Email me today!
Also, please don't respond to people you're after hiring to in this thread, since that could cause unnecassary clutter. Also, if you're not for hire anymore, for whatever reason, then please announce it in this thread so that you don't get many needless requests!
