It's only seeming to be a demon pack cause it's mostly characters who ALREADY WERE DEMONS adding glow to themselves. Again, bAss has shown many times over how diverse and mutative these pieces can be. Also Dave has already said what the art team was thinking behind the creation of this and it makes perfect sense that this is one take on mutations.

Organic Armor represents change-from-without. With these parts, you can acheive a carapace/exoskeleton look, as if your character is growing a new skin or shell or perhaps being taken over by a symbiotic entity. And for added visual punch, you get the tintable glows here too.

As a set, the Mutant pack gives you the abilty to make new heroes or villains to fit a fairly wide range of aestheic types: alien-corrupted, hell-spawn, genetic freak--all of that's doable with this set. And with 2 tails, wings, and sword, there's a cherry on top.

Level 44 minus: Point X-Ray - Fire Base Zulu
Level 44 minus: Point Tango - Fire Baze Zulu
    Level 50 plus: Storm Palace

All spawns in the shadow shard are Hazard Zone Spawns, which means full mob.

You can find small mobs at Point X-Ray with 2 Overseers and one minion, but for the most part, it's 5-8 minions, a couple of lewys, and a boss, and sometimes two bosses.
May be just that it was so long ago when everyone was stronger, but yeah I used to hunt at the Storm palace, alternating FoN being up and blowing a nuke on groups. Surely wasn't easy but I could do it. I liked being WAAAAAY out there where no one ever went. Most of my time though was spent at the lower level areas hunting them for sure.
  5. I seem to remember having little issue with any of the rularuu when I was working on them for my Overseer badge on my nrg/nrg blaster. Have they changed them recently and made them harder?

Name: Lillika Leandros (Often just called "Lill" or "Lilli.")
    AT: A flying Energy/Energy Blaster
    Age: 27
    Height: 5'10
    Hair: White
    Eyes: Sky Blue

Physical Description: A brief description would be Felicia Hardy (as Black Cat) looks on a Carol Danvers body. Starting at her head, Lillika has a full head of long soft white hair that cascades down to the middle of her back. Her soft blue eyes are usually concealed by a small black mask with completely white eye holes. A small nose and plump red lips (usually curved up into a smirk) also adorne her face. Lillika posseses an athletic body type that manages to keep its soft feminine curves (hourglass shaped body ofcourse.) An ample chest sits just above a set of toned and well defined abs which in turn melt into wide hips. Her legs stand out almost on their own due to the powerful looking thighs and calves. (Ms. Marvel has the most fantastic legs to me and thats how I shaped Lillika's own.)

Costume Description: Small black mask covering her eyes, though not much else. Her body is wrapped tightly in a black and red leather one piece. Black buckles on her wrists and calves secure black/white gloves and boots to her outfit. On her chest is a symbol depicting 3 phases of the moon in black and white. When Lillika is dressed to fight crime and evil there is a strong glowing aura coming from her eyes, revealing the power stored within. When in flight, Lillika is surrounded by a full body glowing aura (the same color as the light coming from her eyes) that leaves a small trail behind her. (Think Green Lantern on the Aura)

    Lillika Symbol Reference: http://a.yfrog.com/img444/585/lillikasymbol.jpg

Personality Description: Lillika is not lacking in confidence like so many other female superheroes are. Infact her overconfidence (almost bordering on arrogance) seems to pour out of her, and she carries herself to reflect that. Always smirking and never showing abit of concern in a fight, she usually will seek out the biggest meanest looking badguy and quickly engage them in battle. Outside of crime fighting she is a mostly normal woman who suffers from one great weakness: Clothes shopping. Often broke because of this, Lillika tries to keep a cheerful demeanor even while trying to make ends meet and balance her private life and life as a superhero.

Short BG Info Regarding Powers: Though she doesn't talk much about it, Lillika's powers didn't start out as all her own. After a strange series of events, Lill found she had inherited this inner "galactic energy" from a dying alien. While seemingly inexhaustible, this new found energy needed to be recharged at every full moon she had learned. Recharging it simply required her to spend the night basking in the moonbeams of the night, but it was important it be done or she could lose all she gained. (This is the short and to the point version of the story.)

Aye its a huge success for us to have been consistently in each of the last 6 World Cups after being out so long. But I want more!! Too many people here settle for just that. So I guess my personal expectations are abit high for them. *shrug* (pffft rugby ) As far as growing the sport here, thats a tough spot for us.

We need to be good to make people care -> We need great players with knowledge of the global game to be good. -> We need big money contracts to lure the talent -> We need people to care to get the money.

Right now we have a few good players, but still mediocre money and an average team.

Though I still tell everyone I know to watch it and get excited! :O

I always watch and hope (even find myself pumping my fist and smiling when we are really rolling,) but over the years seen too many discouraging things to really sell myself on em as a serious team for any length of time. Howard was indeed brilliant, though, and never the cause for my concerns.

    World Cup 2010

*A rare American World Cup fan appears!*

Todays game reaffirmed for me why I just can't cheer for our team. A general lack of control and inability to stretch the field makes each game hard to watch. England was absolutely the better team out there. As for predictions, I'm not buying into Brazil to win it all, I think its going to Spain. Cheering loudest for the Netherlands myself

Hope it was ok for me sneaking in here No one around here cares. :'(

Really, though, it's not the lack of fish heads or cat's paws that bug me the most. It's the lack of Monster Feet in what may as well have been called a Monster Booster pack. I'd have thought that would be obvious.

I can understand frusteration at the set itself not feeling complete. Just finally got irked enough to defend this cool looking pack from those complaining about not getting all the extras they wanted.

  15. I'm slowly finding myself more and more underwhelmed with my Storm/Psi. She is about 36 now and even with two tornados rocking (Psychic and Normal) I'm not digging the setup though I love the char concept. Does it get better still from there or has it gone up as high as it will in the fun deptartment?

  17. The only time it looks like a "demon" set is when people use it on their demon characters to me. I personally can't wait to get ahold of some of these pieces and use them in as many creative ways as bAss has done already.

Also lots of people seem to be stuck in a one dimensional mind set on what mutations can be. Please, put down the X-men comics. (Well don't, cause I love them too and I won't do it either.) David did a really good job explaining the thought process behind the set I thought.

  18. Would a cold defender who skipped the two ice shields be completely rediculous? I like alot of the powers in Cold but I can't stand bubbling all the time.
  19. Curious, what is considered the best attack chain for FM anyway?
  20. Oh thanks Doc! Completely forgot about that temp power.
  21. I think Captain Electric just convinced me to erase all my chars and start over.... *cry!*

Though I do try to imagine the hero before the powers drawing from all my readings of past comics, novels, etc. Some other really good tips there as well I will try and use.

You can start characters on a brand-new server and send them money and enhancements from your higher-level characters anywhere. This can open up a lot more character slots to fill with alts. You could always do that, of course, but now you won't be rock-bottom-poor on each new server -- unless you want to be.
I don't have near as many chars as some of these people have but I have every slot filled on Virtue that I got from Veterans rewards (only actually 33 months even though Ive played since I3 >.<) I also didn't realize now that I could send myself enh and inf through the mail system! Thats fantastic to hear! Especially since another alt went bye bye last night and all her money and salvage got transferred to a "safe" character via the oldschool way of my friend holding em for me.

Also thank you Nemu for an alternative build, will keep it saved as well in my Mids incase I find myself missing the Concealment pool. Until now I had never NOT had phase shift and I am hoping I don't miss it as much, but then again it had changed alot since I first took it and loved it >.
