Two quick questions. One, I have NEVER heard the name Keetsie in my life! Where are you from? And two, if you really wanna animate something, how about a water powerset? (hee hee hee) JK, that might start a war here. I'd say welcome, but you been here 2 years already.

There is a good summation of the servers here...
http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Servers
I think some of it is out of date. But most seems pretty spot on. Also, BEFORE you move your folks anywhere, go there and play a bit at peak times first. Virtue has some HARD CORE RP'rs out there. I went there once and swore never again! I was skeered a bit. Ok, a LOT! -
HH here. And you KNOW I will HAPPILY hand over that dang star to you ANYTIME. But then again, I will give it to Big SOB too and he's crazy! Hee hee hee. Now all I gotsta do is figure out how to load in slower and I'll be GOLDEN!!

Yes. I was just wondering if folks were gonna be going for a second T4 in something, and if so what they thought would help them the best.
And the only timer I am familiar with is the slotting one which is a few minutes at most. Which wouldnt be an issue say, before entering a mish, getting on a Hami raid, or a mothership raid for instance. PLENTY of time to swich out a slot then. -
I hope this is not the height of rudeness (as some folks dont even have 1 T4), but now that I am X5 I was wondering what other folks were going to go for as a second T4 in something, as a sort of backup. I am thinking that as a Blaster I should go for the Destiny-Clarion. I went Barrier for my first one cuz it was so sweet. And it has turned out to be a good choice. But if I am soloing, especially regular mish's, I am thinking that I want the Mez protection more. Then I am thinking another pet as well. What are you guys doing.
And just so there is no question, NO, you cannot slot TWO Enh's in one slot. I am thinking of changing them up as the situation changes or foes change. -
Not on infinity. And some folks start them there (PD) but most are out of RWZ on Infinity.

NOTE: Not all of them offer coloring. I could not change the color of my T3 Diamagnetic at any level. It is still a gold glow around targets after I hit them. Judgement and Destiny have been colorable for me at all levels (T1-T3).
-
Would you please make a "Don't Call Me Squishie" badge? I don't care what it is (explore, achievement, etc), but now that I am getting all "Incarnatety" I just don't feel squishie anymore. Malleable perhaps, but definately NOT squishie!
-
I am pretty much the same. I did however go Barrier on my Destiny. Just got it to T3 today and love it. Went for the longer lasting, but slightly less buff one. But still love it. And since she is a Arch/EM I went Ion in Judgement and I LOVE it. Only T1 on it but it ROCKS! Do not have Lore opened, so I am unsure about my pet yet. And like many I also went Diamagnetic cuz I want No-regen-4-U Arrows!
-
It says the hotfix is for Vet rewards and Character Transfers, could they PLAESE throw a Lambda Trial I-don't-wanna-crash-anymore fix too!!!
-
-
I went Diamagnetic in the Interface slot cuz I want the -to hit and -regen on my Arch/MM. I figured if they can't hit me AND can't regen, I will drop them quicker.
-
Especially since they got rid of base salvage as it was "too confusing". Whatever.
-
I know some of them are colorable, I was just wondering which ones were or were not. I checked the I20 BETA boards and couln't find anything, and I went 5 pages back in this one and it was the same.
I just wanna know if I can color the effect from my Interface: Diamagnetic: Tier 1 power. The gold color just doesnt fit. And if so how? I went to the tailor and did not see the option to color it in the powers tab.
Thanks all. -
Quote:Chariots dominated warfare and toppled empires for 500 years. In a way not unlike the topic of this thread, they enabled an archer to stay at range and deliver lethal strikes his enemies could not endure, and also to pursue those enemies when they tried to flee.
You heard it here first folks. Charioteer Primary for Blasters!!!! -
Welcome to the game and the boards. Fire/Fire blasters are some of the highest damaging blasters in the game (depending on who you ask). But as is true will all blasters, the mindset of how you play them is the key. The idea is to do as much damage to them as quickly as possible and run if you need to. It is a "good offense" thing. There are a few good Blaster Guides in the guide section to get you started. Have fun and welcome.
And yes, to adjust your difficulty, find a contact called Hero Corps Field Analyst. They will tweak your difficulty settings. -
Thats a tuff one. I mean, I still remember the first time I saw "Propel". I said to my friend I was playing with and said "Did you just throw a %$#@ car??!!" But I guess my personal favorite power has to be "Rain of Arrows". Very neat looking and crazy damage.

Somebody is about to come in here and remind folks that Energy was originaly supposed to be Water, but it didn't look right.
But I would be all for these. I have to say though, that I really want a Dark/Dark blaster first. -
Yes, but what I am saying is that a normal Olympic Archer has to shoot 72 arrows, in groups of 12, at that distance (70 meters). I would think that a "super" hero would be able to shoot EVERY arrow at snipe distance. Not just 1 attack. Seeing as how an Olympic archer can.
And while an argument could be made that an Olympic Archer does not have an enemy attacking them at the same time, I still stand by my statement. Either we are super or not. Also, I am not really seeing how increasing the base range for archers (or any other blaster power for that matter) would really be all that game breaking. It would only come into play on outdoor maps, and the occasional long hallway in an indoor map.
However, I am sure somebody will come here and tell me how extraordinarily game breaking that would be. "in their eyes" that is. -
I'm 44. I still remember a cereal NAMED "Super Sugar Crisp". Man I hate PC nonsense. And yes, you SHOULD watch what your child eats. But it is everything in moderation, not "NO SWEETIES FOR YOU!!!"
Sugar Bear! Where are you when I need you!!

Ok. Just checked my Blazing Arrow. It goes off at 48 yards. This kinda ticked me off cuz an Olympic archer has to be accurate at 70 meters (just over 76 yards)!! And I'm supposed to be a SUPER hero? My regular shots should be going off at more than that!
Perhaps the Dev's need to re-examine Archery ranges. And don't give me "balance" sillyness. -
Ok, just checked. My snipe, with Boost Range up (and the T4 Cardiac), hits at 95 yards. Not a whole football field. But DANG close. I'll check some of my other attacks later.
