    Echoed over here, it would be much easier to design a base if you could add your doorways after putting your room in and create some holding rooms to put your salvage-made items in. The current base editor is quite unfriendly unless you're totally revamping your base from a blank canvas.
  3. Ill/kin doesn't have any great synergy, but it's a great fun set to play, so fun, in fact... i got mine to 50.
  4. i think the single target confuse power is also a must have for PvP - confuse in PvP is teh bomb!
  5. Fire/Rad, you know you want to.

    It's a build that allows you to solo AVs, slower than having Kinetics as your secondary, but extremely powerful nonetheless.

    And /TA is awesome too, with lots of controller-esque powers to help with the containment.

    Fire or Illusion for your primary, although fire is much better for AoE damage.. Illusion only has a few hard controls in the set though, rest of it is aggro dispersion, fear, or DoT.

    Grav is also half decent, propel deals a decent wallop per hit with containment!

    EDIT: I just thought, maybe fire/sonic? sonic reduces enemies damage resistance... hmmmm...

    MM's seem to be spot on now for PvP action!

    with regards to your tp foe woes - tp foe is a perfectly valid tactic in a PvP fight. Tp foe onto caltops, bombs, mines, tar pits, anything nasty is all perfectly legit in PvP - maybe you could use that method yourself for some fun and games? :P

    BG mode looks the bomb, and it makes AoEs in PvP really useful again!

    It's only on the Sonic Resonance powerset though isn't it? Certainly I have problems with that headache-inducing-powerset but Sonic Blast is fine...

    It's the noises from the blasts as much as anything. They get very old, very quickly, and when you team with a couple of people who regularly get sound looping type bug... well, prepare for an earful.

  8. TBH, i don't think Doms need that much of a buff. Seriously, maybe domination should be altered to make them the UBER FOR 90 SECONDS power, or else they may need a slight increse otherwise, but for villains overall, I think doms fill the controlling cap satisfacory from my experience

    I suggested in another thread that Domination = instea-hold for AVs. Which is a pseudo-triangle killer, as even two dominators on a team won't be able to perma-hold an AV. I suspect this is the most likely buff to be implemented and would make dominators MUCH more handy for mayhem missions and the like.
  10. It's handy, but anyone that has slow resistance can get around your arctic air and chilling embrace, you've got to be careful.

    the same thing about melee can also be applied to /energy, the best damage powers are melee. (Bone Smasher, Total focus, Barring whirling hands, which is naff for PvP) also, the level 38 powers for dominators are very close range. So in general, Dominators are most effective when close in a fight. Kiting is the key here!

    The disorients in /energy aren't that amazing to be honest, however they can be stacked with other disorient powers (Like wormhole, say) to create a far stronger effect, especially with domination running, it adds up very nicely. Total focus with domination is enough to stun a boss in PvE, Bone smasher on its own + TF might also stun a boss briefly. So, like said, can be very handy if you have disorient powers in your primary.

    The Ice slick is awesome in PvP, everyone who doesn't have acrobatics will hate you permanantly. :P

    I'd highly reccomend /Energy and /Ice, /Ice has lots of secondary slow effects, as well as Power Boost - Power Boost + Aid Self = 80% of your HP back in one go. Or something ridiculous like that!

    That would be a nifty Idea, I was thinking that the buff could make holds stronger for AVs when Dom was up. Or else attacking a Hero/AV causes the domination bar to fill more quickly. What would be dead nifty is if it caused it to rise at the same rate as in PvP zones when you're fighting Heroes, that would be teh uber-pwnz!

  16. The 3x3 room is able to hold the tech raid teleporter, or the arcane raid teleporter plus another teleport chamber.

    I think they'll put in a craftable teleport item which'll take more than 2 beacons. Would be lovely to have the zones consolidated onto 2 or 3 teleporters, instead of having LOOOOAOAAADDDDSSSS in the hero base.

  18. Quality PvP tanking!

    How effective are Stalkers at taking down tanks anyways? Is the AS enough to make tankers raise their eyebrows? Or do they stand there and go "'tis but a scratch!" Monty-Python-Black-Knight stylee?
  19. My other question regards dark consumption - are you sure it gives enough of an endurance boost to warrant it being a stamina-killer? It's a bit like the transference argument. At least Power Sink auto-hits.

    Mmmm, Air superiority I have on my controller, got it at 49 just so I can knock any flying enemies out of the air, it's a decent power and actually deals alright damage... For a controller. :P

  25. mmmm, possibly, what power pool attack would you guys reccomend for me? Air Superiority?

    I am a bit worried about dropping stamina, but doing so would let me take loads more stuff I couldn't do otherwise!
