If they were using bagpipes as a sonic attack I don't think you would enjoy the sound.

I think she was referring to the lack of response to this:

FREEM started on the Colbert Report.
"Take the do out of Freedom"
Yes, it is a comedy show. But it is a comedy show about politics. I come to CoH to get away from all that, not to be reminded of it.
I so very much wish FREEM would just die.
    ...
    What is wrong with you?

Why not? There are plenty of people I know that do this purely for the concept reasons. Many more people craft them simply because they're extremely useful in the early levels of the game.

You're asking the wrong question. The right question is "Does adding a ranged attack to the fighting pool provide significant increase in game experience compared to the cost required to implement it?"

But yes, it is that big a deal. The power would need to be balanced, coded, and animated (you cannot assume it's simple copy/paste). What other pool power has five powers? There could be code that needs re-written to allow more than four powers in a pool.
At what level would the new 5th power for pools be opened?

Let's just hope her callous disregard for the community standards isn't synonymous with our soon to be freep brethren.

One of these differences was that elite players were allowed to use free players as mounts. Just wish I could find that again, scoured Google for a couple hours looking the other day.
    Already got you covered here.

If you made it an enhancement that did untyped damage a percentage of the enhanced attacks base damage as a 100% proc on hit would it be capable damage above the cap ?
  11. Quotes from part 2 (mostly information we knew already):

Many subscribers who become Premium players will be able to form SGs because of the Paragon Rewards benefits.
The vast majority of Premium players should still be able to form Supergroups and maintain their bases.

There are currently no plans for a standalone character creator at this time.

We're not currently considering the option of offering Lifetime Subscription.

The new tutorial is like Outbreak and Breakout: you don't go back once you leave.

City of Heroes Freedom will launch later this year!

All players will have access to the /help channel in game, which will allow them to receive support from their fellow players. Players will also have access to the City of Heroes Knowledge Base. VIP players will receive premium in-game customer support. We will be discussing this more in the future.

As a Free player, you will have access to two global character slots—two slots total that you can use on any server, PLUS any bonus global slots you might have earned as a veteran player (one per year), two global slots if you purchased Going Rogue before City of Heroes Freedom launches, and any character slots you have previously purchased. You will be able to assign any of your toons to these slots except for VEATs, EATs, Controllers and Masterminds, unless you have the requisite number of Paragon Reward Tokens, or have purchased these ATs in the Paragon Market.

VIP Subscribers will receive even more content than they currently do as part of their monthly subscription. One of our driving goals is to increase the value of the VIP subscription for our veteran players.

Time manipulation is a buff/debuff set for Controllers, Defenders, Corruptors, and Masterminds.
  12. Maybe the certificates make it so if you earn something in game as a VIP that non subscribers can't use if you drop to a lower tier you can't make a new character with them, but you can claim your certificate if you pay the sub again later.

Maybe vetted will mean box plus a month so anyone who had a free month gets them but people who made the during old trial accounts, buddy codes, or something similar won't be able to access them.

You'll have to purchase them if you weren't vetted enough to just have them given to you.

It was made very explicit that the purchase of that expansion was access to the Incarnate System, even though the first part of the Incarnate System was pushed off an issue.
The only part of I.S. that was supposed to be part of GR I remember was the Alpha slot.
  17. On being flagged as RMT you get forced offline and your character becomes flagged as a valid target and left in game for 5 minutes doing /BatSmashReact. We can stand in Atlas trying to earn PvP IO drops by killing RMTers.

Hey let's not go being offensive by comparing Eiko-chan to Je_saist!

Nothing Eiko has done deserves that kind of abuse.

    You should apologies.
  19. Taking someones names just before emailing them to invite them back to try the new free version sounds a lot like offering to wash someones car and keying the side to me.

"Yes I can see you got all the dirt off and gave it a nice wax, but WHAT THE HELL MAN?"

Yes it will, the minor ones who are fearful and easily manipulated will stay away. The ones who do not scare easy just need to be displayed as examples of what happens to remind the rest.
