I just placed about 15 crafted Panacea IOs on the redside market for cheaper than the going price of the equivalent recipes. If anyone is interested in purchasing one of these IOs and would like to save some money/crafting time, now you know where to look.
EDIT: The 3 Panaceas triples have already been sold -
I'd probably go Mind over Fire if I were you. Mind gets Levitate, a soon-to-be-buffed Confuse and you can slot the placate proc in Mesmerize. Sure, Fire/Elec will probably do more damage, but Mind/Elec does plenty of damage with a crapload of annoying mezzes to boot.
-
I've yet to lose to a Sonic with my Arch/EM blaster. The fights against Psi blasters are much more closer, while Archery outdamages Psi, that placate proc is a b*tch in 1vs1s. I'd love to duel your blaster, I'm in freedom as well so you can send me a tell @krytical- to arrange something.

I've yet to see a good arch blaster. I understand they have good recharge, But any AT can get good recharge now adays. I've herd people say they get good damage out of Blazing arrow but I've never seen the numbers
[/ QUOTE ]
Blazing Arrow does about 200 damage base, including the DoT. Archery also has a slight acc bonus to its attacks which more or less cancels Elusivity. Fast-activating tier 1 and 2 attacks also mean Archery can keep pinging a target to keep them suppressed for a very long time.
[/ QUOTE ]
Not to mention, 80ft range in tier 3 attack and a ranged stun for toggle dropping, which puts Archery above Fire and Sonic. -
No doubt there, opening with Shout is retarded. Although, even after stacking -res, Sonic is still overrated.
-
Slow animating, heavy hitting attacks are overrated. Psi and Archery wreck Sonics. Ice can't possibly be as bad as people make it out to be.

I've heard rumors of a Dual Pistols blaster, and was thinking how awesome it would be to have a Dual Pistols/Blade melee blaster.

Can you say redraw hell? -
Spines/Regin is the better overall choice, however, ice/rad is not bad either. Sure, the damage is not there, but it makes up in other things. Oh yeah, Arctic Air is a b*tch.

Sonic/EM blaster probably. More damage than anything else in the game, by a very large margin.
[/ QUOTE ]
I have to disagree. Sonic/EM is definitely one of the top PvP blasters, no doubt there, but saying that it does more damage than anything else in the game by a very large margin is being oblivious. Fire can still put out as much (if not more) damage than Sonic, same with Psy. Sure, they don't have a hard hitting attack like Shout, but you have to take into consideration that in the time it takes for Shout to animate a Fire blaster can cycle Flares and Fire Blast (from 80 ft away even) which will do more damage than Shout, even after factoring in -res. Not to mention how dangerous it is to use an attack that takes nearly 3 seconds to animate on a blaster.
Personally I think stalkers are the top PvP AT. They are extremely hard to kill on the hands of a decent player and are very capable of getting kills both solo and in team. Blasters are up there too, but you will never achieve the safety level of a stalker. -
You don't need Hibernoob. You have to pick up stealth no matter what, might as well go the extra mile and grab Phase (it is still a good getaway power, especially on a stalker). Having both Hibernoob and Phase is pointless.
The good thing about Regen is that you always have a clickie to fall back on when things go south. With WP, if the heal is down, you better pray Phase isn't. -
You know things are bad when people think PvP in i12 was good
-
Regen has Heal, DP, IH and MoG
WP has a Heal, +HP, decent S/L resistances, some useless defense, a tier9 that no one takes and +perc/repel resistance.
The question is, would you like to be unkillable, or would you like to be pretty hard to kill and also have some utility? -
Elec/Therm is the better PvP combo of those three, although the other two are solid.
-
Regen is the hardest to defeat, after that comes ninjitsu (which is still near unkillable with the godmode, some purples or shadow meld, and offers +perc). If you want to sacrifice some survivability for utility then WP seems to be an all time favorite. I've found them to be the squishiest though.
As far as primaries Elec seems to be the FoTM in i14. -

Kin doesn't have any -recovery. So I'd say therm.
[/ QUOTE ]
elec has plenty of -recovery.
if you are talking 1v1, i'd prefer the kin. thermal is pretty useless imo, compared to i12 i just cant stand to play mine anymore.
team pvp is dead to me, its basically boils down to multiple concurrent duels anymore.
[/ QUOTE ]
Elec's -recovery is not very reliable, comes mostly from the hold and short circuit (neither of which do any significant damage), and they last a very short time compared to HE.
If therms are useless then what can we say about kins? -
If you aren't getting inf/prestige from the kill, you won't get drops either.
-
Elec/Therm is better, and yes, you definitely want to take advantage of dual builds. While for PvP you don't really need anything except the first and last two powers of Thermal, seeing Shieldless/Forgeless Therms in PvE makes baby jesus cry.

I could improve my time a lot more if I didn't have to Flashfire the nem spawns, but if I jump them without mezzing them, like I do to the family spawns, they can put a serious hurt on me. Your build is sturdier than mine (about 10% more defense and Mu Guardian) so I'm wondering if you are able to jump the nem mobs without mezzing them first and reliably survive? I believe that's the trick to get the best timing. I'd love to do a run with you to see how you work them and what path you take if you don't mind.

One of the biggest problems I face on my Fire/Psi dom is lack of to hit buff. It's very hard for me to hit emped heroes, ATs with a lot of defense or lots of -tohit. I think Elec (with its BU) will help dominators a lot in this aspect.
I'll definitely give /elec a whirl when it comes out. -
Hey Doc if you'd like to Herostats my dom feel free. I never run with fillers so I don't have the exact inf/min in Dom Challenge numbers, I usually just PL VG mates or lowbies . My average is around 800k per 12 mins runs spawned for 7 (with me doing all the killing). That's about 125k inf/min if there were only two players on the map.
Send me a tell at Diskord if you're interested. I'll be playing tonight. -
That's a beastly build Doc, I only have half as many purples and LoTGs as you do and I've already spent more than 600 mil on my build (105% recharge). I'd say with the current market prices yours would be easily close to a billion.
I did a couple of things differently though, since I also do some PvP with the build (you can't spent a fortune on a permadom and not PvP) I slotted char and picked Stamina and SJ. This also makes it a little more exemp friendly and adds QoL (I hate SS, so maybe that's just me). I prefer Swift + Hurdle + CJ (good place to put a LoTG) + Sprint to hop from spawn to spawn since it doesn't suppress.
Also why is capping the slow in Hot Feet important? I have mine slotted with damage procs, am I missing something? -
Wow, looking good. A decent PvE stalker at last.
-
They need to stop nerfing things.
-
Overload = Nerfbait.
Someone important mentioned that it was going to be "looked" at. Can't remember exactly now. It's a bit unfair when you compare it to the Unstoppable crash.
