Quote:No, Virtue. Was this on Guardian? My SG co-leader said he had a League come visit him in a Tip mission yesterday.
I have to say, the bugs in I20 are some of the most novel yet.
And the funny thing is, this isn't a novel bug. It's just very old. Back when Newspaper missions first showed up, you could occasionally zone in to find yourself in someone else's mission...And if they were of the opposite alignment, you could both be flagged for PvP. -

Two nights ago, I was on a BAF that experienced possibly my favorite bug in the history of City of Heroes (I meant to post this earlier, but real life sidetracked me):
After the entire League confirmed their readiness or whatever that popup box that teleports you into the Trial is called, we all found ourselves kicked out of the League again (this was AFTER the patch that supposedly fixed that).
But more importantly, we had all zoned into some poor mid-level guy's morality mission in Oranbega. After a fair amount of confusion from everyone, we zoned back out through the mission door (and found ourselves back in the Rikti War Zone) and went back on to run an incredibly successful BAF, including beating Nightstar and Siege in under two minutes.
Of course, about five minutes into the Trial a bunch of us got a mission complete badge from the morality mission. -
I'm looking at Lore, and was wondering what a Warworks summon looks like. Anyone have any screenshots?

Whelp. Wouldn't be a City of Heroes Issue launch without the Globals going down.

I, also, never took Stamina on anything. Never felt it was necessary.

We could digitize ourselves into the Internet and fight the beast on its home turf.
-
Too bad they're not actually attacking yet :-P

*sigh*
Of course. You guys are going to be in Indy two weeks before I move up there, and in the south just after I move up north. -
AUUUUGH! I'll be back in my beloved Indiana at the beginning of July and the beginning of September! Why must my timing always suck? WHY?!

ok wait... i dont get it. this cheerleader is supposed to be an easteregg. but to what?

Heroes, and apparently something else that I'm missing. -
Joe Lieberman's quote in that is particularly ridiculous in the context that they presented it in. The game industry responded to his ultimatum by creating a ratings system. One that is, in my mind, just as good as those used by the Film and Television industries.
However, I do have to point out that Lieberman has said, many times, that the Game Industry impressed him with their response and the ratings system. They're taking him as much out of context as they are the video games themselves. -
I'm sure this would be funny if I wasn't having to constantly restructure your sentences into real English, as opposed to whatever crazy moon language it is that you speak.

My guess.
Anti-Mayhem missions
Insted of one Villain destorying Paragon and fighting dozens of Heros/police.
One Hero fighting dozens of villains that are destorying Paragon.
[/ QUOTE ]
Not to sound alarmist, since we (obviously) have no idea what these missions are going to be like, but...I really hope they're not like that. Defense missions in games tend to be anti-fun (The infamous 30 Fir Bolg mission, the Cape mission) unless what you're defending can really take care of itself (the Fortune Hunter's zepplin in Crimson Skies, Wretch).
Besides, isn't half the fun of Mayhem missions being able to blow the crap out of your surroundings? -

Yes. It's coming. Safeguard missions. Being worked on right now (outside my office, in fact).
[/ QUOTE ]
Um. 'Safeguard'? As in..A giant escort mission? *random conclusion-leaping commences* -

The Rularuu first appeared when the Circle of Thorns got a big ol' mallet and brought them here.
... isn't that like Superboy-Prime punching the walls of reality?
[/ QUOTE ]
It was a book called 'The Hammer of The World', and it was the Banished Pantheon. I think. -
Well, if we're going to start bringing Supers into it, I can't imagine that Wretch would stand much chance against Ms. Liberty or any of the other Regulators.

Now now Kosh.... don't tease the chowd. After all, living next to the north pole causes dementia... he can't help it.

Man, I'm originally from Indiana and I still never thought that Florida and Texas were even remotely close together. Of course, I also realized quite early on that states in the south tend to be larger and filled with tons of nothingness between bastions of civilization (example: Georgia. Never have I seen a state so full of empty. And people say we're running out of room for our population..), as opposed to states in the north/northeast, which tend towards the more compact. -
[ QUOTE ]
Florida, that's only a little bit away from texas, right?
[/ QUOTE ]
Hah. Right. Only a little bit!
Only Georgia, Louisianna, Alabama, and Mississippi separate Florida from Texas! And if one lives in Central Florida like I do (god forbid that they live in southern Florida), then most of Florida ALSO separates one from Texas! Why, we Floridians regularly drive back and forth from Texas as day trips..It's only gotta be a 17 hour drive at the very least! Easy
Oh, and that "single waterway" is called the Gulf of Mexico -

But, what happened to the Midnight Squad?
[/ QUOTE ]
I've been wondering that myself.
[/ QUOTE ]
Weren't they basically wiped out in the Rikti War? I remember a couple of higher-end CoH missions that basically said that the Midnight Squad's surviving members had become more librarians and historians than crime fighters.
