Thanks for the invite Def, that was fun.

Me, me, me!
Bringing the namesake. -
Quote:Sam, I'm going to have to disagree with you here. While Babs, Posi, and Castle haven't had the sheer amount of hate Jack did/does they've had their share of abuse, especially Castle. Case in point Psychic Blasters. Shortly after it was announced Psychic Blast would be proliferated to Blasters Castle was virtually crucified on the boards over the decision. The Blaster version wasn't on test, heck we didn't even know what powers it would get yet, but group of posters already "knew" it would imbalnce the game and began making highly personal, petty attacks on Castle. I think the reason you no longer see as much hate for Castle, Babs, and Posi is because the posters that hate them have either left or been banned.Considering Jack went from hero to pariah in less than a year and Matt has escaped hatred almost completely in the last, what... Three years? I'm not too worried about Melissa generating too much aggro. Jack's mouth is what got him into trouble, and neither of the other "lead developers" have had that problem. Matt is so laconic he's practically mute and Melissa has a silver tongue, so they've basically steered clear of trouble.
But even Castle and BABs, who've been basically knee deep in the community for years now, have largely avoided any real problems. If BABs every gets heat for anything, it's his kidding around, and never for his actual development work, which is a testament to the quality of such work and his insistence to do it right. Castle's usually "the one to blame" for balance decisions that don't sit well with people, but even he has never been accused of wilfully destroying the game or having some other underhanded reason to "nerf." The I13 PvP changes came the close to giving him heat, and even that wasn't too bad.
Really, outside of Geko, Jack is the only one on the greater development team who's gotten this kind of heat, and he hasn't been the only target of opportunity we've had over the years. -
Well I had fun, was with Voo, GP, and the hairy one for both runs. I imagine we could have been much quicker on the 1st run if we were really trying for time. Seemed more like we were running it just to have fun and if we won something along the way that's great, which was fine by me. Also I think we kind of gave up on winning a prize when someone died in the first spawn on the 1st mission.
Voo, I think both runs were alot easier than what we used to run because of the TF set up. Even with enemies buffed or us debuffed we were still facing 0/+1 enemies compared to the +3/+4 we used to run which made it much easier.
MP, was suprised to see Victory had the most teams participating. Pretty good for a tiny server that no one can find a team on and should be merged. Maybe this will shut that crowd up for a while, probabely not but it would be nice. -
My anti-social self would like in on this. I'll bring the namesake and EoE's. I can do my normal song and dance with the Rikti and yellows to make the Hami portion easier.

Quote:You will be able to, BaB said:Shame you still can't have tails AND a belt. Maybe in I25..

"Animated tails are not capes. They're nearly identical to how we do wings, but a much simpler rig. (Not too much more expensive than a bow when you really get down to it.)
They've also been put on their own costume node and will now show up under "Lower Body". Which will mean you can do a Belt and a Tail (animated or static) on the same character. Unfortunately, that means the tails under the belt category are being flagged as legacy. So if you want to keep your current, non-animated tail, you'll still need to go in and select that costume part from the lower body the next time you edit your costume at the tailor." -
Nothing to see here, I wasn't asking to get get in on a TF that already happend or anything.

Here's my Shadow homage, the Spade of Aces (ninja run + DP + awesomeness!)

Just to clarify before speculation runs toooooo rampant, we're not doing a Nemesis-type system for Issue 17.

Same here, would be nice if they set the red side event up so you could kick his rear..again. Hmm, maybe I'll see where Kadabawhatsit spawns and drag Deathsurge over to meet him.
How's the snow in Jersey Hamster? Here in harrisburg it started yesterday at about 6 and hasn't quit yet. -
Quote:Agreed and for Invulnerability: Unstoppable as well. Say use the Cimeroran "yell" animation.I could go with this. Also, in that same heading: How about an alternate animation for powers like Regeneration:Integration? Pounding your chest and doing a bad impression of the Johnny Weismuller Tarzan yell isn't something every regenerating hero(ine) is likely to be all that keen on doing. We can shut off the glow now, which is nice, but we persist in doing that sophomoric (and, in the case of female characters, quite painful-looking) animation every time we switch on the power...

If you run a LGTF I'll bring the namesake Brute and EoE's.

Go to the 22 minute mark in the video to see Dual Pistols in action.

Quote:What, no "w - Woof"?I tend to have the same default blinds on all characters, mainly to replace annoying defaults that close windows/navbars:

Quote:I remember that, and then his "dad" quit the team as well and the six of us went on to own Ruladak in about 3 minutes.Heh, I love tanks who think they're in charge of the team.
"The team has to follow me, I'm the tank."
"I respectively disagree; the team needs to follow the team leader."
"You can't make me stick with the team. Besides, you can't beat the AV without me."
"Want to bet?"
"Sure."

It's even funnier when you have this conversation 3.5 hours into a 4 hour task force. -
Maybe it's just me but when I saw the image I thought of Sark, the main villain in Tron.
I really like the way this Praetorian Clockwork looks and can't wait to see what the other new groups in Going Rogue will be like. -
I kind of went the opposite way from everyone else and customized my namesake's (lvl 50 SS/IN Brute) powers so that less is more. The top pic is customized, the bottom standard. In both pics I'm running:
- Temp Invulnerability
- Invincibility
- Unyeilding
- Dull Pain
- Rage

Wow, wasn't expecting the huge badge changes. probably have a couple new ones when I log in. I've already got it but the change to Illusionist is my favorite:
Illusionist: This badge now requires the player to defeat 100 Illusionists and Phantasms summoned by the Carnival Master Illusionist. NOTE: Phantasm defeats were not tracked until this patch. Previous defeats of these enemies will not count toward the total defeats required for this badge. However, defeating summoned illusionists and phantasms going forward WILL earn credit toward this badge. -
I'd love to see an alt. animation for invulnerability's unstoppable that lets you pick the Cimeroran yell instead of the Tarzan one.

A tough old cowboy told his grandson that if he wanted to live a long life, the secret was to sprinkle a pinch of gun powder on his oatmeal every morning.
The grandson did this religiously to the age of 103. When he died, he left 14 children, 30 grand-children, 45 great-grandchildren, 25 great-great grandchildren, and a 15 foot hole where the crematorium used to be.

Prior to her trip to Texas, Virginia had confided to her sorority sisters she had three goals for her trip the Lone Star State. She had wanted to taste some real Texas Bar B Que, take in a bonafide Texas Rodeo and "ride" a Texan.
Upon her return, her sorority mates were curious as to how she fared. "Let me tell you, Buffy," she confided, "they have an indigenous bush down there called Mesquite - and when they slow cook that brisket over that mesquite wood, DAMN!!! That beef not only melts in your mouth, the taste is beyond belief!"
"And the men? I went to a real rodeo...Talk about athletes! These guys wrestle real full-grown bulls like in Spain! Except they ride a horse at full gallop, throw a rope on these huge bulls, then jump off the horse and literally grab the bulls by the horns and throw them to the ground, and tie'em up...and that's not all! Its a race!! They ALL do it and only the fastest gets prize money!"
"Virginia! Come on, tell us!!! You said you wanted to "ride" a Texan! What the hell happened?"
"Well," Virginia admitted, "I'll admit, I was tempted, but when I was at the rodeo and I saw the outline of the condoms in the back pocket of those Texan's jeans, I CHANGED MY MIND!"

An old cowboy sat down at the bar and ordered a drink. As he sat sipping his drink, a young woman sat down next to him. She turned to the cowboy and asked, "Are you a real cowboy?"
He replied, "Well, I've spent my whole life, breaking colts, working cows, going to rodeos, fixing fences, pulling calves, bailing hay, doctoring calves, cleaning my barn, fixing flats, working on tractors, and feeding my dogs, so I guess I am a cowboy. How about you?"
She said, "I'm a lesbian. I spend my whole day thinking about women. As soon as I get up in the morning, I think about women. When I shower, I think about women. When I watch TV, I think about women. I even think about women when I eat. It seems that everything makes me think of women."
The two sat sipping in silence.
A little while later, a man sat down on the other side of the old cowboy and asked, "Are you a real cowboy?"
He replied, "I always thought I was, but I just found out I'm a lesbian."

A ventriloquist cowboy walks into town and sees an Indian sitting on his porch. He figures he'll have a little fun...
Cowboy: "Hey, cool dog. Mind if I speak to him?" Indian: "Dog no talk."
Cowboy: "Hey dog, how's it going?" Dog: "Doin' alright." Indian: extreme look of shock
Cowboy: " Is this Indian your owner?" pointing at Indian. Dog: "Yep"
Cowboy: "How does he treat you?" Dog: "Real good. He walks me twice a day, feeds me great food, and takes me to the lake once a week to play." Indian: look of disbelief.
Cowboy: "Mind if I talk to your horse?" Indian: "Horse no talk."
Cowboy: "Hey horse, how's it going?" Horse: "Cool." Indian: extreme look of shock
Cowboy: "Is this your owner? " pointing at Indian. Horse: "Yep"
Cowboy: "How's he treat you?" Horse: "Pretty good, thanks for asking. He rides me regularly, brushes me down often, and keeps me in the barn to protect me from the elements."
Indian: total look of amazement
Cowboy: "Mind if I talk to your sheep?"
Indian: "Sheep Lie." -
Yes and no, to the best of my knowledge you can't see see what order you took all of your powers in but you can see the order in which you chose your powers in each individual power set and pool. You can check this either on your enhancement screen or by looking at the powers tab on your personal info window. For example I took hurdle as my last power just to fill a slot, it shows up last in the list of fitness powers but it doesn't show when I took it in relation to the other power sets and pools.
