  1. Started 3-boxing tip missions for efficiency sake. Using various capped toons for the 5 random rolls option should help the mid-level crisis efforts.

    Claws/Elec?

Next project after Kin/Elec will be Claws/Elec
    Might tweak. Might not.

  3. In other news, I've already bought quite a few items from myself.
The only [teeny-weeny] downside to the merger that I can see.

Oh definitely! I'm all about thrift.

One of those --can't remember which-- was going for 190-200M just before the weekend.

    I see that too.
Some are right-side up and some are right-side down, if you will.
  8. As a buyer, I just set the ToD NE proc level 40 IO market at 10M.
Think of it as my gift to the greater community.

Ya can't blame me for what happens next.
  9. All of my accounts and toons are okay so far.

Prices will lower by a significant degree.
Focused (obsessed?) individuals can take each of 5 alts down the "morality mission" path, 3 times each and get 5 LotGs in a little over a week. Why pay 750M-1.25B for all 5 LotGs? (used today's prices)

Now, if LotG prices really plummet and if you have ample INF then you may choose to spend your 2 AMs (on each toon) on Kinetic Combat triples instead. They are and have been going for close to LotG prices.

I agree. The global and uniques for sure.

This gets me everytime. Especially, right now. Even after factoring in a liberal estimate on deflation, there are still sooooo many bargains.
  13. I've been in-effect liquidating for the past two weeks (well, okay...I've snapped up some bargains too). I needed a clean slate on my accounts going into the merger-wipe. Call it a RL RAM shortage, if you will.

With my 50s, I roll in the 35-39 range for merits. These should help you decide....

  17. I've realized that I have a handful of toons "stuck" in their 30s that have a few thousand tickets each. They will be generating Bronze recipes across 30-34 and 35-39, but I could one or two of those toons to join this effort for Pool C/D drops as well.

As soon as I decide, which one I can stand to play and want to dress up with set IOs and uniques and such, I'll join up. After 6+ years of play, I'm always looking for something different.
  18. Last year, I used to multi-box/self-PL quite a bit in AE land.
Lots of toons. Lots of runs. Figured I would add up their tickets tonight since I had never bothered before...

My lethal-capped Fire/WP went at 'em late last night. Figured it would be nice to pursue Van Merits, a good basket of Reward Merits and Purples at the same time. Dialed it down from to +1/x8 to 0/x4 and still got humbled

This would add to the supply and also take out chunks of inf. from the system at the same time.
I believe that in the past, on Test, they have filled bids and (I believe with much less certainty) they have set prices...so it may be possible. If so, would it bring prices down? I think so. It would be easier to "manipulate" the drop rates periodically and for some duration (similar to what's done with XP and INF during 2XP).

But I also think that the INF part would strike a balance somewhere. More supply means that marketeers would have more items to work with and should be able to maintain similar profit margins as they have now.

Should I roll Bronze or Gold for Kinetic Combat recipes?
    Gold for the D/E/R.
    Bronze for the A/D, D/E and +KB.
    Silver for the D/R, D/E and +KB.

I would recommend rolling Bronze (I always recommend Bronze) and selling what you don't need for INF. Take that INF and buy the pricey D/E/R. Of course, the D/E is pricey also, so you could do the same for both recipes.

Other option: Perform merit-rewarded activities and random roll in the 35-39 range or buy a D/E/R directly for 200 merits (vs. 10 random rolls for the same 200 merits, as a comparative example). Like I mentioned above, I'd go with the 10 randoms...take the INF after sales and buy the pricey D/E/R.
