If you're reward tier 5 or higher (i.e. 33 months of sub time... or less) you get them unlocked for free. Dominators are never locked out. MMs and Controllers are $15 each (1200 points) to unlock permanently for Preems if you're under 5. If you're intending to go primarily Preem and not VIP, it'd be the equivalent of just being a VIP for 2 extra months (give or take a little). Not really a bad deal (again, if you're not Tier 5)

I like the category under the detailed info... "Bleh".
Could be something to do with setting your alignment? -
Alternatively, just treat it like a Single Target attack and anytime it hits multiple enemies is just a happy accident
-
Demorecord does not record the UI (and it can't)- and a lot of other things don't work. Demos are a totally unsupported and undocumented feature, so... yeah, take from it what you will.

The cone has an arc of 130ยบ, and a range of 7 feet... It's a melee cone
You do have to intentionally position yourself to be able to reliably hit more than 1 at a time with it, but it isn't hard. It's not too hard to frequently hit 3 at a time with it, especially when there's more enemies around.
Just be happy the arc isn't 5 degrees! (actually, even that isn't too hard to line up multiple targets with) -
Quote:The CH in CoH is absurdly easy for all parties involved compared to the "market" I've seen in every other MMO I've looked at.
Okay, so I tried my hand at using the Consignment House market for the first time ever today. It was so easy (read: fast), I'm a little taken aback[snip]
You did exactly what you should have done... you would have been able to save a bit of money by bidding less on the Magical Conspiracy (it's often as low as 1.2M... I've got 30 sitting on one character), but that's chump change compared to 700m. You could have probably sold it for more if you listed it for higher, but, that would have taken potentially much longer to go through. There's lots of different ways to tweak how you do stuff and potentially make more, but, you've already got the important 95% of it (the most important thing is to compare the crafted and recipe rates- often crap recipes go for a decent sum crafted).
Paragon definitely made a smart choice by making it a double-blind auction, it makes the items flow much faster. -
I've come back after multiple 90+ day account lapses and I don't think I've had any items vanish. I definitely had stuff marked as "sold", stored, and "bought"... not sure if I didn't have any bidding/selling due to them being deleted, or having all already gone through (I'm thinking the latter, but not sure).

"CoX" was never the official name. I, for one, support referring to it as 'CoX Freedom' if it causes discomfort to others
(why yes, I am a Freedomite!) -
GR content (praetoria, costumes, side switching, etc) yes. VIPs get access for free.
Incarnates: No. VIPs get them for free, Preems/Freems can not get access without subscribing. -
Access to the invention system lets you get salvage/recipe drops.
(market access is unrelated to invention system access... IIRC, it comes many tiers earlier... the article on Paragon Wiki says) -
If they locked them, they didn't lock all. I just logged on to my Freem account (old long-since expired trial) without issue.

If you're Tier 5 or higher, you get them unlocked permanently... I really don't see how anyone has any ground to stand on with claims of being 'upset'. You can unlock them for less than a month of subscription if you've not been playing for long enough to already have them unlocked, and you still get free access to the other 8 basic ATs, along with the vast majority of the other game content.
Preem status still seems like a fairly good deal to me. -
I believe that the character would still be locked out, even if the slot the character was in was unlocked.

Quote:You can rebind escape... the key name is 'ESCAPE' (I actually just did it to test it... it's set to 'unselect' by default). You cannot rebind ESC, so if you want to use it for something (like untargeting an enemy), your best bet is to bind that single command to a different key.
If you rebind it (such as to 'nop' - No OPeration), you can still use it to unselect the chat window without impacting anything in the game. -
I got curious, so I decided to see if I could find it... I got a screenshot of it all right (several, actually), but... yeah, good luck reading that!
I've got texture qualities on Very High... I wouldn't be surprised if the in-game texture is simply too low to be able to actually make out any text. If it is possible, probably the best way is to take a demo of one of 'em with it out and then modify the camera's location until it's as close as possible to it (and straight on, if you can). -

They've already started reactivating the old accounts, so it's already begun.
(not sure if you can register new accounts atm- or how you would!) -

I would agree... and yet, the last character I made was a DM/Regen
/WP and /Regen don't have similar playstyles at all (even though /WP seems to be a remake of /regen). /WP has only the T9 as a clickie, while /Regen is all about the clicks.
/Regen definitely isn't a horrible set, though. /WP can just be IOed out fairly easily to have incredibly all-around performance. -
You delete a character on one account, and reroll it on the other, starting over from square one.
That's as close to inter-account character transfers as you'll get. -
Just a note: You also get 2 reward merits before you pick which reward you want from the table (I just ran the arc for the first time and got them, then chose a Hero Merit
).

Yes, you get access to all of those Archetype (we don't have "classes" in this game
) for free. They can all start as either Heroes or Villains.
If you purchase access to Masterminds & Controllers, they can be started as either Heroes or Villains as well.
Peacebringers/Warshades can only be started as Heroes, but can switch at 20+.
Soldiers of Arachnos can only be started as Villains, but can switch at 20+ as well.
(Peacebringers/Warshades/SoA must also be purchased for free accounts) -
We don't know what the system will look like when it's done. They might switch all VIPs over to the gold names, and drop the 'VIP' title (only having used it for testing). Of course, Zwill and the others might not know what the system will look like at this point, either.
-
In the game, is your account acting like a VIP account (i.e. can use the VIP server, all servers have the base 12 slots + others, Incarnates, etc)?
There seems to be quite a lot of oddities with the Freedom stuff so... might just be more of that.
Edit: Sounds like the game is treating you like a Preem. Definitely contact support!
