Inter-account transfer?

Is there a way to transfer a toon between my two accounts, so I can have a 50 on each?

And just in case the OP was going wondering why the devs aren't going to consider adding this to the game, it's because there are too many things characters have access to that are account specific. Vet/Paragon rewards, power sets, archetypes, Going Rogue, badges, account locked IO's, costume pieces, enhancement trays, salvage slots, market slots, incarnate items, costume slots, etc.

It would also open a whole new area for RMT abuse where they sell a tricked out character to some schmuck that doesn't realize he won't be able to use any of the stuff on it because he never unlocked those items on his account. Of course he can't complain about getting ripped off because if he does his account will get banned.

One master account two sub accounts... Well thats how I read the OP.

Either way, nope. :/

Would be nice if you could pass account bound stuff between accounts on one master account though.

Yeah but the point behind account binding items is to prevent them from being traded and sold, even between accounts under the same master account.

And don't assume I like it. I just predicted something like this could happen many months ago in a thread that was speculating about what might happen if the game switched to a hybrid F2P business model.

Boy did I get flamed for suggesting they might make account bound IO's.

The technical problems aren't insurmountable, since they're not much different than going from VIP to Premium (they're a superset, but the basic solution is there). The social aspect is still probably the main issue. However, I agree that this is a service that people would pay for.

That's pretty much the problem.

I know. The account I started with, the account that became my ex-wifes (who no longer plays) has the "original" Beorn on it. He is stuck at lvl 36 but he has all the badges from the first year. When I got my account, all the badges started from there...

I'd love to have that Beorn with my account...

No one said that it couldn't be done. I said there are reasons the devs won't want to do it.

I'll admit I'm not sure what you mean by social aspect. I'm talking about the differences that exist between accounts that don't have the same features unlocked on them, and how players are notorious for ignoring/misinterpreting things no matter hard the devs try to explain how things work.

If this were to be implemented, even if it was only allowed between accounts on the same Master Account, there would be a swarm of morons getting pissed off after they paid for a transfer and found out that they don't have access to all the cool stuff on the uber tricked out character they just moved because they have to pay to unlock those features on the second account first.

They'll blame NCSoft even tho they were the ones that assumed they could save money and put one over on the company by making the transfer.
