  3. There's a lot of refinement all the new systems can use, i.e. more on AE, a massive amount left for PC (somebody said that pool powers are going to be even more work than the primary/secondaries were!), bugs, etc.

    The devs also have a countless stream of possible powersets they could implement, as well as more proliferation, etc. If anything, the devs have more paths open to future development now than ever before.
  4. I don't believe that the mouse buttons can be used as modifiers like alt, ctrl, and shift can be.

    Since a VERY long time (years). They get the HP and some of the other modifiers of a Lt while keeping their boss powers (making them more of a threat than a normal Lt most of the time).

    IIRC, it was in the patch notes but didn't work at the time.

  12. + and - adjust your primary tray, which is what you're probably thinking about. You can't programatically control any of the other tray's.

    Alt and Control + number (by default) activate a power in the respective tray+position combination.

  14. Since you're a scrapper, most likely you'd be better off with raising your level than the team size. Unless you're an AoE heavy Scrapper... but at 16 you wouldn't be AoE heavy anyways (for example, my Stalker takes +4/x0 no problem but had trouble when I raised the team size but not the level... my Plant Dominator just did a mission set to +0/x6 easy as hell and needs to go to x8... but probably wouldnt' do well against +4s).


    Then again, since you're still a lowbie you don't wanna raise the level too much, as you probably don't have decent accuracy.

    Several of the powers from Poison would be thematically appropriate.
  16. They could always go with different secondary effects (see energy blast's kb vs energy melee's stun). I could see Sonic Melee having a stun secondary effect as being realistic... I'm not sure of an alternative for Radiation, though.
  17. There are a few Rad melee attacks in the game (see Shivans).


    I'd imagine more secondaries will be an eventually proliferation item.

I remember a while ago seeing another player trying to take on 3 or so guys at once and was losing the fight, so I decided to jump in on one of my characters with a taunt power (honestly can't remember what AT.. or why i'd take one) and started taunting. Only then did I realize he was like 3 levels higher than me

    In the tailor/character creator. Only some powers allow that, IIRC, mostly (only?) self toggle powers.

    I'll still use my dictionaries, and still come up with better names


    Although, I might end up duping some of my characters names (I already have a Kitsune Knight on guardian that's level 22, and thought of a better character for that concept I wanted to make on that server with the same name )
  21. No, names are per server. You can check before transferring if you go to the other server and do 'check name'. If it's taken, and you do a transfer, you'll be forced to rename.

    Surviving pvp

    1.) Move constantly. It's much harder to hit you with a melee attack if you keep moving, although you'll still have to watch out for Impale from a Spines
    2.) Bring some friends
    3.) Bring +perception to cut through their +stealth (assuming they aren't capped, which they probably are)
    4.) Move around
    5.) That friends thing again
