    Lolz

Yup that's what I said here a few days ago.
  2. Moar farming options plz, AE was not enough

Enhanced Difficulty Options - Players can now fine-tune their difficulty levels by telling the game exactly how they want to be treated. They can choose to be regarded as a specific size team (even if they are soloing), and even have control over the level they are detected to be when it comes to the dynamic spawn system. So if you ever wanted to see if your Scrapper could take on a map that is populated for an 8 person team, four levels higher than your own, now you can! The difficulty settings of the mission owner dictate how the mission is handled, just as before, and you can change your difficulty settings at any Hero Corp.'s Representative in Paragon City or Fateweaver in the Rogue Isles.

It's lovely to set the difficulty for more for my solo scrappers but won't it just encourage farming? 'Yay no fillers anymore!' some must be thinking...
  4. Meh I'd like Spines. Claws will be a good fury builder tho.

    issue 16 info

Damn Stalkers got the shaft in proliferation... Wanted Fire Melee so bad.

Shields weren't fitting for a Stalker, but this?

    [ QUOTE ]
Powerset Proliferation - More powersets are now in the hands of Archetypes who couldn't use them previously! Blasters will have access to Radiation Blast, Brutes will get their Claws on, Controllers can now freeze it up with Cold Domination, and Corruptors get to feel the "twang" of Archery and Trick Arrow. Defenders can go high-tech with Assault Rifle and Traps, and Dominators can pulverize their enemies with Earth Assault. Masterminds heat things up with Thermal Radiation, Scrappers and Tankers get ready to fry their foes with Electric Melee and Electric Armor, and finally Stalkers get to swing their own mighty Broadsword.

    What demon/?

    Demon/Fire

    Fireball FTW!
  8. Nice, so I can get my pets to 38% def without FFG? Thanks for the info Linea.

BTW is it worth gutting Gang War in terms of acc/dam so you 'll have the 4 pet specials there? I just created my MMs (thugs/traps and thugs/dark, just testing, never played a thugs MM) and I don't know how much a fully slotted GW helps comparing to one with the 4 uniques and say, 2 recharges.

Making the class weak solo because he can help other people more smacks of bad design to me. As I said before, why would I want to play if my only purpose is to make someone else's game more fun? I want to have fun too. Every other AT brings something to teams, and none of them suffer solo as a result of that

    [/ QUOTE ]

You are not the sole arbiter of fun. Some people enjoy playing buff-focused characters. Why deprive them of the oppurtunity to have their brand of fun ?

    [/ QUOTE ]

This. NOW expecting for a buff-heavy class with no debuffs to solo like a champ, that's just delusional. There are a lot of combos you can pick to solo well, some with buffs and debuffs. My Rad/Psy solos like a champ.
  10. 20 bil? Still wanna see that build
  11. The friggin' cloak could at least give some +perception since you're "bending light" and all.
  12. How much +def and +tohit each enforcer gives to you and other pets? I'm curious on how much def I can get to my pets with the 2 +5def pet uniques, maneuvers from enforcers and maneuvers from me.

I wonder if I can softcap my pets with FFG from traps?

    Thanks!
  13. Well you should've noticed his sarcasm when he said Elec Armor is the I Win button for Stalkers
  14. MY slotting:

    Level 8: Siphon Life <ul type="square">[*] (A) Hecatomb - Damage/Recharge[*] (17) HamiO:Nucleolus Exposure[*] (19) HamiO:Nucleolus Exposure[*] (19) HamiO:Golgi Exposure[*] (21) Doctored Wounds - Heal/Recharge[*] (21) Numina's Convalescence - Heal/Recharge[/list]
66.6 acc, 95% dmg, 33.3% end discount, 84.5% heal and rech.

Blinding Powder. Very versatile for slotting. I don't use it as a primary combat power but I do use it often.

    Ice/Stone Advice

You can also slot the Steadfast +3def unique in Hoarfrost.
  17. Well kin has been popular since forever in farms redside.
  18. Check Mid's.

Human controls via the immob, a hold with great damage in Gravity Well, call pets, nukes, nuke corpses, use Stygian Cycle so you won't need fitness, has a great stun power, mires, eclipses.... Loads of good stuff. It also has shields, a damage aura and an Oppressive Gloom clone. These three can be skipped on a triform build where you will only be human for short periods of time.

That said I find the WS human attacks kinda weak so you better go triform (and get the powers above in human).

I find Plasma's guide still good btw.

I know that, but RttC's main purpose is Defensive so let's say it is a special case power and bend the rules to take into account RttC's main function which is the main tanking power of Willpower. It doesn't damage Mobs, just mildly debuffs To-Hit, similar to Invincibility, but in reverse and no where near as good as the Defense that Invincibility can generate.

The new rules may not have been targetted to Nerf Willpower and RttC, but that is what the new rules have done. The powerset is just about useless without the main regens from Willpower. And hey, a Nerf is a Nerf is a Nerf, even if it comes in the guise of a politically correct Nerf.

    [/ QUOTE ]

No it's not a special case. IT AFFECTS THE ENEMY. Like Chilling Embrace, AAO, and other non-damaging auras like Op. Gloom and Cloak of Fear. So in PvP it is detoggled by mez like any aura that affects enemies.

AAO is also a key power in Shields, as well as Chilling Embrace in Ice, what in the hell makes you think Willpower deserves special treatment?

EDIT: removed invincibility since Wavicle told me it does not detoggle.

I read it as sarcasm since he followed it with a remark similar in tone.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I suggest you take a look at Alt's posting history and then tell me if you still think he is being sarcastic or dead serious.

Keep in mind, this is a person who runs around filing petitions against players who mention the word "farm" in broadcast and describes himself as "virulently anti-farmer".

    [/ QUOTE ]

Yeah given his history I don't think it was sarcasm.

    PB 'scrapper'

Yeah I'm considering that. Although I don't care for the decimation build-up proc (too little of a chance), I'd use achilles heel, devastation chance for hold and lady grey chance for negative damage.
  22. I don't consider fitness wasted on a WP, especially Health, which is a big boost to your regen.
  23. No, DW Despair has no accuracy and you need lots of it, like in my slotting.

    Elec/Stone

But of course, that's the flavor of the month (and every month) brute farm build, other than ss/wp.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I almost only see SS brutes farming (WP, Fire and Stone). It's way better than elec when you get some recharge.
  25. Well time for me to ask for a build to see what the experts come up with:

    FM/Invul

1 - Any budget but no purples (Abs. Amazements are okay for boxing)
2 - must have aid self
3 - softcapped to SLEN with 1 foe in range of invince, if possible high FC defense too.
4 - enough recharge for an attack chain to be able to solo AVs and if possible perma dull pain.

    Thanks in advance.
