Do I really need to take health and stamina with a WP brute?

You shouldn't have end issues with QR and DC so you prolly can get by without stamina. I would still advise health if you can fit it in. The more regen you can get the better for WP.

Yes and maybe. If you opt for tough and weave then you will want stamina or dark consumption and stamina takes fewer slots for a tight build.

The great thing about WP is that it makes the Fitness pool completely optional. I've never seen a primary that needed WP and Fitness to run. But taking both lets you run forever, without ever noticing that you have a blue bar to manage.

Or you can do really stupid things, like my scrapper that runs all the WP toggles, CJ, Tough, Weave, Focused Accuracy, and all three Leadership toggles. Just because I can.

I really don't think you should, but if you really want to, you can =/

If you put Health in it i would just put Stamina in there just to make it easy but then again its all about if you have room or not.

If you really want to, they can be nice. I would advocate Health more than Stamina, to give that extra Regen boost.

But neither is needed, as WP comes with its own Regen and Recovery tools already.

I'll write the minority dissenting opionion:

Part of the beauty of Willpower is that you don't have to take the Fitness Pool. Save yourself 2 or 3 "unfun" utility powers and get some fun powers instead. 4 Slotted Quick Recovery (3 SOs/IOs + Endurance Proc) is more than sufficient.

Lots of people still take Fitness on Willpowers, but truly, there is no need. I consider it wasted power picks to do this. YMMV.

P.S. This becomes even more true when you get Miracle and/or Numina procs in addition to your Quick Recovery. Stamina really is a wasted power at that point.

I don't consider fitness wasted on a WP, especially Health, which is a big boost to your regen.

I consider the best part about WP, to be stacking Health and Stamina onto it.

Personally I took both on my SM/WP but I'm building a maximum regen build, im trying to fit every regen bonus and such possible, i'm halfway through it and with QR+Stamina my Blue bar rarely dips below about half. as for stacking health, I like it for my builds mostly because I solo alot and hate resting, when you regen 20hp/sec while walking around it makes resting obsolete.

Thanks for the info all.

I took both health and stamina. I'm running 5 toggles, and swinging for daylight, and my blue bar doesn't even go halfway down. Awesome. QR + Stamina = Energizer Bunny.

I took them. I like my regen and as SS/WP I wanted Stamina to counteract all of the rage and hasten crashes. My blue bar struggles a bit the way I fire off attacks, with all of the armors I run (Including Tough and Weave) and the crashes. I couldn't imagine without them.

I have a Dm/Wp. I dont bother with staminia. I did get Dc for those instances were i get below 50 percent end. if I run low on end pop it and all better. With Dark consumption and Quick recovery which is better then staminia you will not miss it. Finally, Health regen is nice but with Siphon Life in you attack chain, I find it pointless.

I would pick up Tough and weave and use the extra power pool to get more def. With Dm debuff and High def you will have an extremely potent toon.

Personally I would miss Hurdle more than Health or Stamina on such a toon, but to each their own.
