Very cool, and it substantiates my fear of clowns!

Thanks for this, what a great guide!

That's really cool. I opened the 2 pics in different tabs and kept switching between them to see all the different little things. Very cool, thanks for sharing!

*EDIT*
Should've put this first.... great guide!
*EDIT*
I just did this are Tuesday night with my Stone/Fire brute and pretty much rolled through everything (with the help of lots of inspirations).
Malaise is definately tough, he can even hold a brute because of his fear powers, so be ready to run and come back if you have to.
I never had to fight Ice Minstral in the final mission, just the 4 ceremonies and then Sciricco himself. Maybe I just got to him too quick and she never caught up? I did fight off 2 little ambushes, but they were kinda squishy.
All in all, I *really* liked this arc it was a lot of fun. The map at the end was stunning. Oh, and the Shadow shard map was frustrating for someone who had never seen the shadow shard Task Force before. Once I finally found the room I was scared for a minute, because I thought I was going to have to fight that big level 47 AV! Thankfully he won't agro. -
You have clearly given this a LOT of thought and have provided a very useful guide, thank you.
I love my Defenders, I have 3 (Kin, Dark, Emp) and if I wasn't enjoying being a bad guy so much right now I might just be tempted to roll up an Archer! -
I will add my voice to those who have complained about the accuracy debuffing mobs. I have no problem with a challenge, but my brute with 2 acc SOs in each attack should not miss 9 out of 10 attacks (and the only reason I *ever* hit was because of the streak breaker code).
Should they be able to slow me to a crawl and debuff my accuracy? Sure, makes for a more challenging fight where I *have* to use my inpirations to survive, cool. But the level of accuracy debuff needs to be looked at, swinging and missing over and over and watching myself die and not being able to do anything about it is not fun. -
My 2 cents....
The whole point of resistance is that you are going to get hit, just not as hard.
In the EA set you have tons of defense, and when you do get hit you have passives to help take the sting out a little.
Every other set has a self heal.
/Elec has nothing but resistance. No defense. No healing. IMHO it needs one or the other, because we are GOING to be hit and we shouldn't HAVE to go to power pools to be viable, we should have the option of going to power pools.
That being said, I will be making a dark/elec (for the small but frequent heal that does some damage). -
I will agree that the recharge on the pets seems a bit harsh, I can understand not wanting brutes to have permanent pets, but 50% of the time should be acceptable I think?
Anyone have any idea how much endurance you can recover from the single target brute 'mu-lightning'? I was thinking we might be able to slot it with 2 acc and 3 endmod so that it would be similar to eating a small blue pill (if you hit). Purely conjecture, but it would be nice.
On the Corruptor side, I was really looking forward picking up power-sink. Being a /dark I worry about my blue bar much more than my green bar, I figured I would have to use 3 recharges in the power to get it useful, and that appears to be the case. 1 minute between applications should be survivable, even while blasting with shadowfall and darkest night going.
All of the above is of course, just my opinion. -
I will add my opinion for the devs to consider if they have not already decided to disregard the entire thread due to it's length and somewhat hostile nature.
I do not believe that locking a player into a patron power set is a good idea because as we all know, powers change in MMOs.
Even if there are 4 patrons, each with 9 powers, and we could respec inside the patron powers, it would be too limiting for character development.
You can re-roll a character who is level 15 simply because you didn't like the primary, secondary, or even the AT. But after you've played a character for 40 levels, chances are pretty good that you are happy with your primary, secondary, and AT choices.
But now you have to be extremely careful and pick the set you *think* will be the most stable and align itself best with your play style. Even if you do that, it's still a game of chance because the Devs may do some data mining and decide that a power or two in a patron set are too powerful and 'tweak' them to the point where you feel you would be better off with a different patron.
Again, this is just my opinion and I hope the Devs at least read it. -
I have a question Bill... I have noticed a SUBSTANTIAL increase in FPS when I disable 'depth of field effects'... what the heck *is* 'depth of field effects?'
-
The repecs stack, so you will NOT lose your free one for cashing in an earned or vice-versa.
Bah 'Frost' beat me too it... and a good analogy BTW... -
41. And it's a 5th power pool so you can still have 4 other power pools if you wish.
-
OK... the 'cod piece of power'... AWESOME. If you have no idea what I'm talking about read his bio. That is a GREAT character concept!
-
Do you have any idea how cool this is? Seriously, phenomenal! 5 stars for you! Great job.

Question regarding etiquette (I figure RPers are probably the best to ask). I know a lot of folks get angry about the whole Kill-Stealing business, so I always ask if someone needs help before jumping in... on offense. My character is strongly bound to helping people however, and I often heal a player that looks like they are having difficulty if I happen upon them. Is that considered bad etiquette as well?
