No, you won't get 2 FreeSpecs if you have two builds activated. Someone had mentioned this somewhere (either here on the forums, or in game, but I don't remember), and said that you would get 2 FreeSpecs.
With I17, I found out the hard way that you don't. -
BlackBerryThorn constantly runs his own SuperTeams, consisting of 8 of himself. Same AT, same powersets, same costumes with different color schemes, and same names.

First time I tried to get in, it hung after I selected Guardian, then eventually went back to the Log In screen, and told me I needed to enter my password to log in... o_0
Second time, it was the standard blah blah can't connect, check server page. Server Status showed Guardian as Down. But it was OK. It was time for dinner. -
It took AE and the badges for Inspirations to break me of that habit. And then we got the PosiRAGENerf... >.>

Music from the Boombox emotes is also classified as Music now.

Of course, now you have to be careful when sending e-mails, because there's a limit of 150 per day. In general, that's not bad, but when trying to send stuff cross-server, being limited to 1 item attached at a time, it can add up fast.
Of course, I'm being told I'm crying in my thread asking for the cap to be removed, that there's no way anyone who isn't an RMT serial killer will ever come near the cap, and other such things that make me LOL, but there it is. -
See? It was Pepsi beaming us aboard the U.S.S. Wang, because he was hungry for server cables.
-
Yup. AFAIK, it happens to everyone. Just go and "cure" 20 Lost, and you'll be fine.
-
Point missed. Yes, I DO have 2 accounts. I also have characters on EVERY server. Dual Boxing can't very well move items on Server X to Server Y, can it? THAT is the main reason I was looking forward to the new e-mail system.
And the RMT Spammers have yet to figure out that they can send e-mails to @Global Names. Maybe they're not paying attention to patch notes. Maybe Trial Accounts can't send e-mail to @Global Names. The Spam button is still there, even for e-mails sent to @Global Names. -
NUUUU!!!! Not again!!!

I tried the Delete Checksum thing during the Closed Beta, and it didn't help.
I haven't contacted Tech Support, but I did PM Arbiter Kim and ask him to point the correct people to this thread.
As I said, clicking OK makes everything work as though I never got the error, but clicking Cancel begins the 18+ verifiction/downloading/fixing cycle. -
OK, played with it, and love it!!
I've set up two mirrors for downloading it:
Mirror 1
Mirror 2
I've also uploaded the uncompressed version so that those who want to, can play with it online:
Online Cookbook Location 1
Online Cookbook Location 2
Of course, now that you've updated, my links are to older versions, so I'll need to correct that... Soon!!™ -
That is also true, PerfectStorm. I even went and looked at the I17 OB Feedback thread for the new e-mail system, and the I17 Patch Notes, before posting this thread, and neither one mentioned any kind of limit.

Quote:Yes, I'm e-mailing myself Salvage, Recipes, and Influence. Or trying to.He's talking about spamming himself with emails. How is that harmful? If you're getting email spam, there's tools to fix that in Options.
I've sent over thirty emails today, all to myself. Kheldarn is doing the same, likely for the same reasons.Having a cap in place would make sense if you couldn't already filter out emails not sent by friends or SG mates. So, if you're getting spammed, either turn that option on, or, if it's already on, get better friends and SG mates.
Kheldarn I am with you, I have not hit this cap but there's no reason for it now that people can turn off email from strangers or turn it off entirely. The cap on my inbox is grating enough.
And it seems that the restriction is Per 24 Hours, and not Per Day. I got the message on my first attempt to send an e-mail with an attachment to myself today. Before that, I hadn't mailed myself anything. And I spent yesterday and last night cataloguing the Salvage on ALL my characters, and e-mailing my Influence to my Hero Crafter and Infamy to my Villain Crafter. I'm pretty sure I didn't send 150+ during that... -
Just checked. Neither Menu -> Badges nor Info -> Badges Tab cause any loss of FPS for me.

Please, please, PLEASE fix the problem with the updater. Since the I17 Closed Beta, every time there has been a patch, I've gotten the following error:
C:\Program Files (x86)\City of Heroes/tempfile is not, never has been, and (probably) never will be, a vaild path (at least, for we, the end-user). The backslash \ is used for computer file paths. The frontslash / is used for internet URLs.
Clicking OK will continue to download and apply the patch correctly, but clicking Cancel will cause the updater to verify, download, and fix every single file, taking 18+ hours to complete. -
I just tried to e-mail some Inf and Salvage to my Crafter, and got the following message:
You may send no more than 150 emails per day.
I'm sorry, but I have close to 100 characters on 2 accounts accross all servers. If I have Salvage X on Character Y on Server Z, I want to be able to e-mail it to myself whenever I want to.
Please remove this stealth cap. -
Check out St0n3y's Official Thread for infos.

Haven't noticed it, but I haven't looked at the Badges section of my Info in awhile. I'll check it out...
What I have noticed, and I noticed it back around I10 or I11, is that if I bring up the Info window on an enemy, and click the Salvage tab, my framerate plummets. -
Dunno what changed, but FileFront finally let me download the version in the OP...
Have to look at this tomorrow. Bedtime right now... -

Quote:No, I mean the OP link on FileFront. I was able to download what you uploaded to RapidShare, but is that the entire thing, or just your mod?You mean from MediaFire? I'll try rapidshare: http://rapidshare.com/files/38317135...00503.zip.html
