They can't fix it until they know about it. According to posts from people who were actually in the beta, one version of the Rikti farms was identified just before it went live, and fixed after. Then the exploiters switched to the RCO versions that we all came to know and love as the MEOW farm, that was NOT identified in beta.

And they just fixed another exploit that wasn't identified in beta.

How do you propose they should have fixed it before they even knew about it?

Actually, i would prefer if they fixed the exploit, as in making the mitos act in levels other than 50. But, as always, its easier to also hit those that used the mitos without exploiting then.

Actually, i would buy two more ae editions just because of it. Why? Because that way i can get then faster. Here on Brazil the ncsoft is sold by a company called LEVELUP GAMES. They are incompetent. Right now they even forgot to update their selling options to include the magic pack. But the AE edition is available, and with it the boosters.

Here is my compromise:

I will keep playing what gives me fun, specially the Shadow Shard TFs that i love.
And I will keep playing my insane and next-to-impossible to complete arcs. And i want to keep receiving the full rewards i deserve for the 10 team wipes that the final encounter normally gives, without resorting of making people rate it.

The capacity to make a group of only one single type of critter is wondrous for those that use it to segment their missions. I totally disagree with a "solution" that harms those that dont abuse the system.

Go for the mission slots. Thats the way, in my point of view. Cut the ones creating the farms. Report the farms, whatever. As long as it is done fair, i see no problem.

Besides, farming has been part of the game for a long time. Farmers always chose the missions that best suited their powers. More important than all this is getting the exploits fixed. Group segmentation isnt an exploit. Its a way to better control the roles you want on your critters.

If you want an example:

Take a mission.
You want a basic type of enemies to appear on the whole misssion. Make then all minions. They are the fodder.
You also want a small cadre of patrollers. You want then to be harder. LTs.
And you want a few specific bosses to appear only when you want. Create a separate group for then.
That way you can apply good control over what spawn on every mission on your arc. If I want the damn Boss to appear only on the 3rd mission, I dont want then on the main group. This way you can make enhance and control the pace of the whole 5 missions.

Or you can make a big team, all mashed together, and the boss you wanted only on mission 3 appears on mission 1 because of number of players and/or difficulty level. And then all your hard work is damaged.

I tend to use from 10 to 14 customs on every arc i do. And I want to control all about then.
