  1. For BS I suggest muscularate but than again anything on a scrapper usually gets most out of muscularate maybe except claws. Think this way which is more important. %30+ damage or %30+ something else. Since 2/3rd of alpha won't be ED you will get at least %30 (most probably %35 but that is subject to change) from a T4 of %45 and considering that BS is one of the highest burst damage sets (if not the highest scapper one) I think you will get more DPS out of muscularate.
  2. Okay it seems freedom already have a Blackstalker (I should have known) so I am forced to change my WS's name after transfering. It is Demonstrider now instead of Blackstalker.

    You need to know the code you are working on to do arbitrary fashioned regular basis bug fixes. Unfourtunatly this game changed hands and got a new development team who has barely any idea on what they were working on. I think we may see more regular and arbitrary fasihoned bug fix and updates in the near future since they finally got the finance and understanding of code to do so. On that matter we should actually congragulate dev team to be able to either change code to their working ground or analysed it enough to solve problems in a mere 5 year or so.

    I didn't said they will be quiting do I? Canceling your subscription means you are downgrading to premium or free status and you know what? It does not prevent you to use double XP weekend to level your characters unless they are some AT (or power set) that maybe locked when you cancel your subscription.

    From what I remember it was always new shiny power set just before double XP weekend. This is first time a set will be released just after DBXP as far as I know ( i had a few year breaking from game so if this happened before I don't know) but this is also first time donig it with hybrid model.
  7. For SR i suggest none and I suggest body mastery. For WP it depends but my current WP needs body mastery even more than my SR.

    Are you aware that just becuase of BM and staff not coming for double XP people may (and I know alot of will) cancel their subscription and refuse to buy anything from paragon market? If anything else this is a bad marketing move. A good move would be delaying double XP until at least BM released.

  10. use lots of dual inspirations :P honestly keeping at damage cap for 5 minute makes a difference but I guess you don't wanna hear this kind of tactic. Another thing I could suggest is bring AV GM to mobs and don't kill mobs closer to AV/GM.
  11. On a personal note if SBE and crafter IO sets share set bonuses than I may think about buying SBE procs for a few reason.

    First would be procs can't be boosted by enhancement booster even if they are crafted so buying SBE proc or IO proc won't change anything even if they were having same chance of used.

    Second is as someone else mentioned they can be scale down to their lowest level even if occasionally having procs bonus at lower levels will be nice.

    I doubt rage will be weakened if its ported to scrappers. Why simple lets take build up for example when its ported to brutes it only gives %80 damage buff while on scrappers its %100. So scrappers never get a damage lowering despite having higher base damage in fact they have even more damage buff. If something will be weakened in rage, I think it will be either duration or recharge speed but not damage buff itself.
  13. Just something come to my mind after todays itrial runs in defiant.

    I think it is also important to post which destiny and interface we all have. Destiny for not stacking same kind of buffs too much and interface for same reason for debuffs.

    If i am not mistaken 3 or 4 people with same interface is enough to max stack all the time on AV's.

    Importan interfaces:

    1) Reactive: If nothing else it has that tasty damage resistance debuff to all and if my memory serves right it has the best DoT among interface procs.

    2) Degenerative: With new fix this proc does -1000 max HP to AV class enemies with each stack. On normal content AV's this means a %3.25 reduction and this means an equivalent of %3.25 damage resistance debuff (due to how max HP buff/debuff works) and a %3.25 regen debuff (for last fight in Keyes though I don't know how much debuff this proc does or how much it effects Anti-Matter). This one also does a toxic DoT which is second best rate amont procs.

    3) Paralytic: Defense and damage debuff's all in same place %2.5 defense debuff and %5 damage debuff for each stack.

    4) Diamagnetic: Even with high regen debuff protection AV's have this one still be useful since incarnate AV's have high HP and in return high regen.

    5) Any other interface with a DoT would be useful.

    For Destinies;

    1) Rebirth +regen: For obvious reason and max HP one is pretty useless IMO.

    2) Barrier: Both barrier would be good for having that defense buff those who are tri-form and resist buff for WS and rez one getting fallens back quicker.

    3) Incandescence: Our last Mo Keyes run showed us this destinies healing buff stacks and its a good destiny to escape from green patches if all league has their teleport prompt disabled and there is 6 people who have this.

    4) Well ageless and clarion are not bad ones but I doubt they will be extremely useful in keyes.

Well if you are going to do x8's than i suggest getting nova too it helps between recharge of quasar to get rid of minions and some liuets than u can drop to human or dwarf and take out remaining ones. Otherwise while leveling i find that human/dwarf duo is much more eaiser to play out but thats personal taste.
  15. Interesting result from my current pylon run.

    T4 radial reactive 4m 19s this is close to my usual results from pylons which is 4m 22s.

    T4 radial degenerative 3m 31s. Now I need a few more run to see if this is just a lucky number or an avarage one but my best with T4 radial reactive was 3m 50s so even if this is a lucky one it still beat my best wit reactive by almost 20 second. I think this is becuase of not only max HP debuff acting like a DDR (as UberGuy pointed out earlier in the thread) but also -max HP is dropping regen as well.

    EDIT: Second run with T4 radial degenerative is 3m 40s so I guess previous one although beinga lucky one it is still granting more DPS than T4 radial reactive.
  16. I am not sure where did this come from. Last night we did a MoM with 6 scrapper 5 blaster 1 tanker 1 defender and 1 troller and it was not hard at all. Only half of team had +3 shift others were new toons that just hit 50 and unlocked alpha.

    If they are not superior how do you justify our players following or getting missions from them? Or it requires a team of players (i am talking about not top-end uber builds with correct power selections in here) to beat one of those?

    If they were my collegues I wouldn't bother to get missions from them RP-wise or would drag them into mission with me. I know you don't care this example but I prefer playing Flash rather than Superman but I would also glad that a role model like Superman exists if I was Flash even if he is way superior.

    So my bet is both buff on i22 and a simple code correction of how stacks shown (both total debuff added correctly and instead of from self it properly says character name) in power analyser as well :P
  21. I wrote my post after my run to a pylon a 54. AV and an eb in RWZ. It was definitly doing -150 max hp debuff on pylon and AV last night or at least that was what power analyser was showing to my scrapper.
  22. I am not sure on numbers since no minion live long enough to justify using power analyser on them. However from checking on rikti training drones with power analyser, I know %75 DoT degenerative does around %3.5 max HP (drones have 10000 HP and degen does -350 hp on them for each stack) reduction for each stack. For minions I don't think there will be that much difference even with AoE damage. +4 council minios have around 450 hp so one stack of degenerative decrease their hp by 15.75 hp not much of a difference if you ask me. Now on a boss it would be around 100 hp for a stack.

    However max HP reduction is effected by regen debuff protection. Pylon has around %87 regen protection and 30677 hp from normal calculation it should have 1074 hp reduced but it only gets 150 hp reduction.

    If we need to compare it with reactive (I assume this is also %75 DoT one) reactive does -%2.5 resistance reduction however resistance debuff reduce this number by its portion. For example pylon has %20 resist to all damages with one reactive stack its resistance drops to %18 rather than %17.5 becuase %2.5's %20 reduced as well. So to get 150 damage out of pylon you need to do 7500 damage while reactives debuff continues.

    From this point a lucky hit with degen can kill pylon quiet early (I got this once there was still 1000 hp on pylon and my hard hitter with crit only does 750 damage but it killed pylon with it) however on long run reactive probably stack more (even if one stack keeps half of the time it doubles degen's damage)

    A few points to consider. Is dropping max hp also drops current HP if current HP is already under where it should drop? In an easier way is -150 hp on pylon does drops its current hp by 150 too? If not other than effecting regen directly -max hp is pretty useless. Second thing to consider is if it drops current HP too, does current hp restored too once -max hp debuff removed and max hp restored?

    If current HP restored with max HP upon end of debuff than this is also bad news since on a long attack it would be like not having an upper hand at all unless you can make last few hits debuff your opponent.

    If current HP does not restore with max HP than it means each time you stack this debuff it does 150 hp damage to pylon.

    Unfourtunatly I don't know answers to these questions but either way degen is only useful against boss or higher opponents with a low regen debuff protection.

    EDIT: Just tried degen on a rikti EB at RWZ and it had 5.6k hp degen did -187 hp to him.

I would also suggest SR but if you are not going to get defense bonus from attack sets than it means more slotting defense powers which reduce your either dps or other survival options (res, regen, heath) Never made a shield toon but except DDR (and it will be only effective after i22 goes live) shield looks a better set on survival and dps fronts.
  24. I checked DDR its already at cap (%95) so no worries at there.

    EDIT: One thing I forgot to mention is I am not a fan of slotting boxing with purple just to get %10 recharge and if you replace crushing impact with purple ATO set than it should be enough to perma hasten as well as making your top attack chain a regular. Instead of using a power as a set mule like that I suggest getting flashing steel (instead of stealth or elude up to you) and slotting it with five obliteration. This will let you use katana's semi PBAoE attack chain FS-LD-FS-GD trust me when surrounded this works better than having a huge ST damage. Or you can slot it like mine with eradication and remove some slots from defensive powers frankly speaking you don't need 4 slotting of LotG for that accuracy bonus since katana is a defense debuff set. Basicly more slot you can save from your defense powers means you can use them on mitigating on either your regen or resistance and it increase your survival.

    On a playwise suggestion; With BU proc in it you may get %200 damage bonus with BU but procs buffs stays too short so always use it before GD which is your highest burst damage if you get lucky and got a critical with it too its a %200 or %400 damage out of the bag. I put proc into tactics becuase unlike BU in tactics proc is checked for every 10 second but as long as toggle on it willcheck every 10 second even if i am not in combat.
  25. As an old kat/SR player (still my main toon after 6 years :P) I can't resist but to look at this.

    A few pointers that some of old forum posters pointed to me when I was building my kat/SR.

    Purple set in gamblers cut is better than purple set in Soaring Dragon. This is becuase your main attack chain would be something like GC-SD-GC-GD and on a dps base gamblers cut gets more value from purple set.

    I assume stealth is more like a personal choice since you don't actually need it to put LoTG +recharge you could easily put it somewhere else.

    Your damage is lacking in more than one area. Get muscularate instead of spiritual and try to five slot performance shifters in both physical perfection and stamina. Also I suggest getting assault but you need to remove steath for that. Another choice for getting damage buff is slotting red fortune but it requires 4 slotting (5 slotting if you want extra recharge)

    Endurance reductions in weave and tough are not necessary they don't use that much endurance to begin with and if you five slot performance shifters into stamina and physical perfection it will be better. While at it move miracle +recovery to physical perfection and put a numina heal into health to get more regen.

    Unless you are planing to do solo incarnate content you don't need to take elude. If you are going to do solo incarnate content however I suggest also taking either barrier or rebirth destiny incarnate powers and using them just before your elude crash.

    Quickness does not need 3 speed boost just one is enough.

    This is what I got from what you have it may still need some damage buff but I tried to not remove any of your power choices and not change your sloting much.

    Another note is if you are going to use enhancement boosters? If you do +5's in all defense powers and in hasten you can remove one slot from hasten and hami from weave and still keep your perma hasten and soft cap and one lucky away from incarnate softcap build. You can put those extra slots to either tough or health to get a little more survivalbility too. If nothing else I suggest making purples +5's when you can they increase dps good.

    If you are going to get scrapper ATO you can replace crushing impact on SD to put it. I suggest six slotting all in there and you can remove one slot from focused sense and one obliteration in lotus drop. (assuming you also got +5 boosters) Also purple ATO set increase your single target DPS too not to mention set itself gives %4 damage bonus.

    EDIT: To let you make a comparision I will put my current build in here the empty space on SD is purple ATO. I rarely have endurance issues and its almost always because of some end drain mobs. I plan to put pvp resist +def(all) like your build to remove combat jumping and getting elude instead for solo incarnate stuff when i22 launches.
