I had to petition this earlier, but managed to find a work around, so thought I'd repost here in case anyone else had the same problems.
The arc in Ouroboros is No More Fears from Officer Fields. The mission I experienced difficulty in is the 3rd (after talking to two people) on in the mission titled Go to the sewers where the Vahzilok were last seen. I was soloing the arc on my exemp'd level 50.
On entering the mission I discovered that the map didn't work. In the Map window was Atlas Park, and the red Mission Marker was displayed about a cm to the left in the black space surrounding the map.
After defeating the required number of Vahzilok bad guys the navigation window remained blank of any further instructions. The Mission Complete!" text did not flash up on the screen, nor did an Exit button or even a "Find the exit" appear. I clicked the Contacts tab and the text under the contacts picture said Mission Complete! Return to Contact. Without the instance having a map I then had to find the exit without any marker/waypoint.
On exiting the Navigation window that usually says "Mission Complete! Return to contact!" still remained blank, so I used the Contact window to find my way back to the Contact where I continued the mission arc.
After running the Arc again via Ouroboros flashback on my level 50 character I encountered another player in the mission who was not doing the arc through Ouroboros, and was certainly not on my team as I was soloing... not sure if this is WAI or not. -
I had this problem earlier, but I discovered if you click on the Contacts window instead of following the yellow/red marker it shows another location.
I'm pretty sure it was that mission... I've had so many bugged new Ouroboros missions today I'm losing count :/ -
Quote:I've been mostly playing in First Ward. I uncovered most of the top where you enter the zone, logged out for the night and when I logged back in again it was reset as if I'd never been in there. The area with the main contacts in it, Eltentown, was still uncovered though. The last time this busted, there was a weird tearing effect to the fog for how it would break with some players... are you finding the zone resets clean, or that some areas are hidden/revealed in weird patterns?
Edited: This isn't a new character, and it seems to be happening with all of my toons no matter how long I've had them. -
After completing missions in First Ward, I exit the mission and have to click back on Contacts to either Call them or get their location as the usual "Mission Complete! Return to this contact" is no longer showing up in the Navigation window. It's just totally blank except for the compass.
Edit: The yellow splat with the "Mission Complete! Return to Blind Makwa - First Ward" is when it starts working again. -
I have to agree with the OP.
I've only bought the Barbarian Pack and the School Backpack so far.
I was expecting to be able to either right click on the item and it pull up a list of what the pack contained, or for it to have a description (like the Booster packs had a list of what they contained on the website), so you know exactly what you're getting for your money. At the moment it's like a mystery bag. -
I'm having this problem as well, only the logo (which should be a fingerprint) has turned in to a totally black circle on the different floor plates/banners, which I guess would be the filled in biohazard symbol.
This bug has also been mentioned in the Base Construction section of the forums, along with a load of other bugs. -
I've noticed that the old re-claimable base items (Comic covers, arachnos flyer etc) are now single use only... I've mentioned it in the bug section here
Not sure if this is WAI? -
Before i21 went live the base items such as the Arachnos Flyer/Longbow Chaser and all the posters were re-claimable more than once for use in bases (it actually said this on the button).
Now it appears that they're only claimable once, which means if I need more than one set of posters I need to mess around and make another character to add more to my base?
Is this working as intended?
Edit: For any QA Bug Fixer types reading this post, please can you also see here -
I'd not seen it for ages until the last few nights/early mornings on Union. I ended up putting myself on /hide for searches because I was being sent a lot of tells asking me to join AE Farms for 'stuff', or power level people in AE. At one point I was still being asked whilst I was teaming in a mission.

Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this.
I'll be chatting away in one of my global channels when all of a sudden it goes quiet. Too quiet. I try and say something, but I can't see it in the chat box, it's like globals have gone down for me, but I get a tell from those in the channel that they can see what I'm typing, I just can't see any replies.
The chat box only comes back to life again after I've done a proper zone (with the loading screen).
Edit: Seems to happen randomly. I can be in mid-conversation whilst doing a RWZ mission, and part way through the mission the chat dies till I leave the mission. -

I've recently started doing a Full Content Run (FCR) of red side... or at least I'm trying to. It's taking a loooong time. I've got as far as the first 3 contacts in Port Oakes, and I'm working on slaying ghosts to get Veluta Lunata before I out-level and go and work with the Radio...
It's a lot of work.
I managed to complete a FCR of Praetoria thanks to this handy guide though. Pity there's not one for both red and blue zones as well somewhere. -
Quote:*Gasp!* They inadvertently turned on the alpha version of cross-server teaming didn't they...Very wrong.
I went to access the AE and found myself in some other person's level 1 villain's mission with longbow and the player set as friends. Better yet, the player couldn't see me or hear my /l channel. -
Quote:Looking online you have the choice of either changing at Nottingham, or at Sheffield. Changing at Nottingham seems to give you slightly more time between changes depending on what time you're travelling.Trying to work out the least annoying way to get there, either a train from Chav Town to Sheffield and then to the meet, or hopefully a train Chav Town B to there.
Which day are you planning on going down? -
Quote:HiyaIs it too late to submit my application? :P
If not, Can I come? I don't frequent the Forums very often, so I wasn't aware there was a Meet this year until TheOrrery mentioned it.
I can bring my own laptop ^_^
And I'll be driving too, so I'm hoping there is parking?
My in game name is Mrs_Kane, for those that recognise it. This is my old Global name.
So yes..... Hope there are still places
Oh, and I can only make it on SaturdayThere's still space for a couple of laptops (I should really say wired connections to plug in to) so you're more than welcome to come along.
There's a multi-storey car park directly opposite Global Gaming, although I'm not sure of the prices they charge. I know there are other car parking sites around Birmingham, but as I don't drive I'm not entirely sure where they are I'm afraid. -
Black stiletto work boots.
Glam hair.
Trenchcoat.
Daddy-o glasses. -
Let me see... if my brain doesn't explode first...
6am on a Thursday morning CoX time(-8 GMT) would be 2pm GMT, Perth would be 10pm GMT (+8 GMT),Sydney would be 12 midnight(+10 GMT) and Wellington would be 2am Friday morning (+12 GMT)
Which as far as I can see doesn't really inconvenience anyone unless you're in the EU wanting to play between 2pm-4pm (which is me usually) or wanting to play after 10pm in Perth.
So, for peak times CoX would have to do maintenance between 10am and 2pm their time to affect GMT players at their peak time of 6pm - 10pm.
12 midnight CoX time for a peak time of 6pm in Sydney, and 2am to affect a 6pm peak time in Wellington? -
Just a FYI, Global Gaming does not have WiFi Internet, so all computers and laptops will have to be able to use a wired network connection (cables supplied). The owner will also give instructions on how to configure your ports and setting to utilise the connection.

Quote:There more than likely will be some kind of cake seeing as quite a few folks who're coming along have birthdays near the datesCan I have your cake?
I'm assuming there will be cake...if not, why isn't there any cake?
Sorry you can't make it Mystel and Ready, hope your move goes well and without too much stress -
According to this thread there was a message in game that the servers were going down for 2 hours. It would've been nice if someone could've mentioned it on the forum though.
