I'm posting the short in game and the one that will be going into ouroportal.com or the Vault if it ever comes out. I am not a role player so stories don't come naturally to me. So if I have many writing mistakes don't hesitate to let me know.
In Game Short Version
Description: As a child KAKTOS suffered from highly accelerated rate of bone growth; with bones constantly shifting and pushing their way through his skin. Not until undergoing an experimental procedure at Crey Biotech was his excess bone growth completely under control.
Oh so it was believed.
Not until a run in with Skulls in Cherry Hills did he find out about this ability he possessed, Unfortunately his family was murdered by the remaining Skulls who followed him home that day. Barely escaping with his own life he ran away; Coming back only after being taken under the wing of another mutant who showed him how to control his abilities. He came back to fight the lawless and for revenge. He dons a mask so no one else he knows would be hurt by those that might come after him again.

Subject suffers from an extreme bone growth and ossification occasional bone protruding thru the skin. Subject has a high threshold of pain although still seems to feel the bone protrusions. Otherwise a healthy 13 month old male.
Surgical Intervention
Protruding bones we surgically removed, using new LASER technology to minimize scaring. Patient is to receive 500 ml of IV of genetically altered superadine From Crey Biotech, fluids in 3 hours. With an injection of 3 ml per week after surgery until Ossification discontinues.

History
As a child Ethan Sharp suffered from highly accelerated rate of bone growth, with bones constantly shifting and pushing their way through his skin. He needed medical attention but his parents not having the means to pay for it took him to the "hero Hospital" St. John-Smythe Foundation for Medical Research to see Dr. Demetrios Vasilikos. Blood and bone samples were taken to study this Extreme Heterotipc Ossificationsent and sent to Crey Biotech pharmaceuticals in Switzerland to develop a cure. After undergoing an experimental procedure with LASER surgery and a genetically altered version of superdine from Crey Biotech was his excess bone growth completely under control.
Oh so it was believed.
Being born of two normal parents they never spoke to him about his bone mutations. So he never knew. As a teen he was involved with many sports everything from boxing to track and field. The only thing that ever felt odd to him that he can take a punch or a fall and not really have much soreness.
Walking home one Friday, after cashing his first paycheck from his first "real" job after High School at El Super Mexicano he was mugged by members of the Skulls gang right outside his neighborhood in Cherry Hills. They demanded his money threatening to give him a beating and even kill him if he did not. Always being the smart [censored] he told them "bring it" Thinking to himself I can take anything they can dish out. He hadn't notice the Bone Daddy behind him who unleashed a flurry of shadow punches pummeling him with negative energy. Falling to the ground in pain he had never felt the rest of the skulls starting kicking and punching him after what seemed like an eternity of this the Bone Daddy stops them with a wave of his hand. Scared out of his mind and fearing for the worst He tries to crawl away but he cant he seems to be feeling weaker by the second; looking behind his shoulder he can see the Bone Daddy draining the life out of him using what seem like dark Magic. Feeling like his life is about to end his survival instincts kick: his body explodes with shards and spikes of bones, peppering his attacker. He can see many of the Skulls gang on the floor with fatal wounds the rest running off. He musters up enough energy to get up and stumble home.
When arriving at home he tries to explain to his parents what just happen and to call the Paragon PD but there really was no time; while on the phone crashing threw the door were the remaining skulls that followed him home shooting and killing his Father on the spot. His mother was with him in his room when she heard the crash and shot she quickly rushed him out the window and told him to go down the fire escape as she was headed out to do the same Ethan heard to shots and saw his mother slump over. Not knowing what else to do he just ran and keep running till his legs could not hold him up anymore and he blacked out.
When coming to, he can see he is in some kind of cave and out of the shadows comes out what looks like a human but almost Feral muttered the phrase, Go. Hunt. Kill Skulls. over and over. He tries to explain what happen to him and his family and that he wants to kill the Skulls that did this but he does not know how. The "creature" now standing straighter and his expression looking more human tells him "Will. Teach."
Not much is known about the few years Ethan now calling him self KAKTOS spent in hiding; he doesnt speak about it. What is known is that after his reemerging; the bone mutation ability is completely under his control and can use it at will. There was also a spike in arrest of Skull members and a lower percentage of crime in the cherry Hills neighborhood. KAKTOS applied for his hero license soon after. It is believed he came back to fight the lawless in Paragon city and for revenge. His want to kill those that took his family from him is still there in the back of his mind but he exercises restraint telling himself if he did that he would be no better then them. After a couple of months of crime fighting He was recruited into The Department of Inter-Dimensional Defense and as its said the rest is History.
He see it as his duty to protect those that can not protect themselves. He dons a mask so no one else he knows would be hurt by those that might come after him again.
Personality
To those that don't know him he is a serious young man, focused and determined a strictly professional and deadly serious feral like fighter. In a quite moment one can see his Somber side which has been with him since that hot summer night. With his new family at DoIDD he has learned how to relax and enjoy life again and can sometimes be heard cracking a smart remake or a corny joke But if it calls for he will defend any of them with his life.
