That said, I feel your pain since I remember my disappointment when the "Natural" booster turned out to just be "City of Ninjas". -
The latest handful of names I've picked up on Virtue are:
Monticello
Courthouse
Ducat
Cachet
I wouldn't call 'em "best names ever" but I like all of 'em and am always mildly surprised to find any one-word name open on Virtue. -
Most stone or ice based powers don't get played by me because they almost all have some ugly-as-sin armor graphic but playing them without the defensive powers seems just silly. So I wind up skipping them entirely.

I have manuals from both games, CoH & CoV. I was amused that they left power descriptions out of CoV, knowing it was fruitless.

I got the idea while the cable guy was working on our lines and I was flipping through my old CDs trying to find something off-line to amuse myself with. I saw I still owned my old DOOM discs and there ya go... -

Of course, my blaster loves them and shouts "Earth for Humans!" during Rikti raids. It's her opinion that ALL non-humans should go home and we shouldn't trust any of them -- Rikti, Kheldian, green skinned space princesses, whoever. -
I'd be game for a Shard TF but I'll need to know ahead that that's what we're doing.

Level 50, an IO build I'm happy with (not purples), the major benefit-giving Accolades (I don't need the Crey pistol but I need TF commander) and that's about it. Bios I come up with before 20 and I have characters who don't need capes, auras, four costumes, etc because they have their one signature look.
At that point I might tinker with the character if an exceptional IO drops or something and I'll certainly still play them but they're "done" as far as chasing technical goals. -
I'm deathly envious each time I see a Schuler piece and this is no exception. Congratulations!
