Double Double Toil and Trouble

Ok, ok... So I'm behind on what is new, go figure. Still, I must say it was very entertaining to see myself in a mission...

Though it's also a bit disturbing to see just what Fenian did to herself...

All and all must say it's a nice new arc... Though I let the arc sit unrun for a while and made a couple of levels before getting back to it, made the whole thing really too easy but that's my fault. o.0

So... Who has some GOOD screenshots of them and their doubles??

I cried at the end...




But when i thought back on it and looked on the screenshot and thought about it. I realised my doubles aren't dead... they're just exhausted after having some fun with each other and are napping!

I've only seen my double once. It was actually kinda freaky to see it standing there with it's back to me all spooky like. JKat was chuckling at me because I was like " OMG! There she is!! This freaky! Holy ****! I don't know if I like this!" I haven't had the chance to get back to it to see where she ran off to. But when I do, I shall definitely post a screenie here!

Neko - They must have had a LOT of fun!! But we need more pics of it to be sure I could definitely see Fen having some fun with herself...

Vex - We need to run the arcs after a task force some Friday... would be great to have a full on battle royal versus our other halves!

Airhead's battle with Airhead was more exciting than you can possibly imagine:

Winner is the one with break-frees... oh well. Note the two Airheads have different hair - costume-slot-zero for Airhead only shows the primary colour, not the secondary. But the bug is not there for the other costume slots, nor indeed, for clones. The support response to this bug suggested it might not qualify as particularly high priority

The creepy one I saw was the room full of dead Lounge Crooners.

Here's a few of mine, some of you may recall one from such TFs as Citadel's.

This gives me the idea of creating a character with a goatee... getting this mission, then when inside, switching to a costume without the goatee.

Airhead's hair bug is real, he looks fine in the costume editor but it changes when he exits the editor. For completeness, here is Airhead's evil counterpart.

1. While Headair sleeps, Airhead laughs at his tacky 80's white vest, dark shirt, jeans and shades ensemble.
2. Headair wastes Airhead for taking too long with the screenshot function.
3. Airhead tries a different costume for the Protean arc, producing more visually appealing Headairs in the little room under Protean.

It might be worth paying close attention to any colours selected but not visible when making your toon, since primary and secondary is reversed here.

the first arc is a vance <sumthin or other> which i also did last night and thoroughly confused my triumph SG (the dolls) by saying things like...

"I've lost myself"

"I think myself got eated"

"I got the jump on me that time"

And I got responses like...

"O_o"

"???"

"Roxy's really lost it this time"

ok no one said the last one but they were all thinking it!

Totally forgot to take a picture and wish I had. overall i was a little disappointed because i never used Golden Dragonfly on myself seems like EXing keeps powers 2-3 levels higher than I could use at that level, which makes for quite a disparity in power levels. Which might be a good thing as i gave myself a solid beating. I would kinda like to see a pair of blasters duke it out, i think they are the only AT that can oneshot themselves.

Kung-Pow Chicken versus her evil doppelganger, a brutal fight with pretty light show. (Although I'm not sure how the opposite of white is pink, but whatev)

Sometimes your evil self is obvious - The goatee gives it away... But sometimes the changes are even more drastic!!




Seriously?? That's the other Fenian??? This ain't right!! This means war!



So yeah, we battled it out for a while but it ended in a standstill when we realized neither of us were really evil... So no what? We had to consider this...



Ok, guess the only logical thing to do was for the two of us to team up and take down the REAL evil Fenian!! We did make a good looking team...




But in the end, we had to split up and the final battle came down to the climatic, breathtaking... Chickfight!!





yeah yeah, none of the screenshots are that great... But I just had to play around and see what a male version of Fenian would look like. Thank god she doesn't wear that skimpy outfit anymore!

I haven't been playing for too long but this has been one of the nicest ideas for a mission I've seen yet (okay my highest level is 24, I hope I'll be proven pleasently wrong)

So the first time I met my double there was a bit of a stalemate...


After defeating her I found the major difference between our dimentions was the ability to keep my legs closed...


The next time I bumped into her rather than fighting she just hung around for a pleasent chat


Taking out the trash! (p.s. I kind of like the altered colours for Astral Flame, might consider swapping)


She made a noble sacrifice, and still couldn't keep her legs together! I kind of like how some of the cloaks look torn, yay for texture bugs!
