This. However, the "good" news about these types of complaints, is that it means that we're getting alot of new players.

There will be no CoX 2 until CoX 1 graphics become badly outdated. In my opinion, this is a long way off. From reading the tech forum, it's pretty obvious that MOST people playing the game can't even play it on max settings now.

Also, on a side note, I predict that we go single server within a year or two. This statment is based only on the little voices inside my head.

But it is cross dressing. When ppl do drag they do there clothes and makeup to match. most men that cross dress actually look like females. They dont look like hairy men in a women's dress. Take the muary show, on numerous times they have brought ppl on the show that do drag and most the ppl in the audaince cant tell if they are really a male or female. Same thing you have here.

In biblical times, men's clothing was more dress/skirt like. While women wore something moer like what we would call "pants."

So technically, we ALL cross dress every day...relative to the perspective of another time.

No color changes for me, but I really look forward to being able to put my toons initials on the bullets he shoots at mobs.

Looking at the going rate for the item on the market will tell you wheather it's a keeper or not.

I doubt it would be helpful in PvE unless if you have other end-draining powers...then it MIGHT come come in handy against a boss or something every once in a blue moon...maybe.

I don't PvP, but I agree with the other poster that it's not likely to have an impact in any PvP fight...particularly if it's your only end drain power.

My guess is that it's not worth using a slot on...unless if you happen to be overloaded in slots...which you probably aren't being an Ill/rad.

I get threats all the time on my main (see sig) thanks to John Wriath (or some such) in Marvel. The threats really ramped up the a few weeks back.

So far I havne't been gerniced. After reviewing the Wiki on him, my toon looks nothin like him, has no part of his bio like him and even has a differntly spelled name.

Hopefully, I won't see a naming nerf as a result of all you whiney tattle-tellers.

Thw slowest soloer in the game is a build that you do not enjoy...

Yes. So far, the bot has been pretty nice. I've noticed EB solo fights are alot easier as it picks up a good amount of aggro.

Downside in the 15 minute rch and it leaves after 5 minutes. My current verdict on the power though is that it's very useful for a soloer, but not as useful on a team playing at a high difficulty. The bot would not be very useful in an AV fight. It'd go down pretty quick.

Alot of your power picks will depend on your play style.

By seemless and easy, I'd like to have it stay plug and play upgrades. Video card, ram and HD are the only things that I am aware are plug-n-play. Not sure about processors.

I'd like to avoid motherboard changeout since it would require a new installation of the OS.

I'd suppose I could go $700 after the first $300 is spent.

So here’s my situation. My wife has “approved” me to spend $300 on a new desktop. As you know, a $300 system is not likely to run CoX very well.

What I want to do is spend $300 on a new desktop and then over time secretly upgrade it.

Any ideas on a budget desktop that for $300 can surf the web well and do some MS Word/Excel right out of the box…But then over a period ot 6-12 months, be easily and seamlessly upgraded to be a great gaming system?

Is a blaster ar/dev/munitions better?

In PvP? Maybe. Solo? Doubtful. On a team? No way.

THe cyborg pack goodies will be applied to all of your toons as soon as it's installed. You'll just have to go to the tailor to change outfits.

I have a level 47 AR/Trap/Mace. I think it’s a good build that matures fairly late. It’s no AV killer, but you’ll make a strong contribution to a team and can solo effectively. There are lots of different directions to take with it.

Pros and cons? I’d say the pros is the versatility of the build. Lots of AOE. The shield in the mace set compliments your personal Defense in FFG well. The AOE hold in the mace set compliments all the AOE that AR has.

Cons. As already said, it matures fairly late. There are a few tough levels before you get your powers full slotted. Re-draw on AR can make the toon feel ‘clumsy’. Traps has mediocre synergy with AR. AR is a little light in single target damage. (This gets better as you slot +rch though. Right now, my ST damage feels pretty good; thanks largely due to a near-perma hasten.) At the early levels I used my vet powers…a lot.

This is the only toon that I’ve played to these levels of the game. This kinda makes it tough for me to compare it against other sets. All I can say is that I seem to have a tool for every occasion. When I do team, it seems to always be a steamroll.

Let me put it another way. I don't know anything about old since I'm a noob, and I don't particularly care about how it USED to be. All I know is if my gun isn't drawn and I try to shoot it, it takes longer for the orange numbers to pop up than if it's already drawn. I'm not concerned about dps, I'm concerned about targets getting moved down and my shots (and cooldown, no matter how long) being wasted.

Anyhow, with my PBAoE guy, I have ridiculous animation times before most skills go off anyhow so it's not like it's any better. At least it's consistently slow tho.

I agree that it seems that redraw makes it seem like that damage takes longer to 'send'...But what Umbral is saying is that redraw don't matter...At least it's not supposed to.

Supposedly others have tested and confirmed. Thats generally good enough for me. Maybe someday I'll get around to proving it to myself that redraw doesn't matter. My biggest problem these days is lag on teams...With that problem, it's trival for me to complain about redraw.

Keep in mind that game diffuculty is built arond TOs, DO and SOs.

EVERYTHING is worth playing with common IOs. In fact, you'd do just fine with just SOs! Particularly in PvE.

I'm actually seeing what I beleive is the begining of a shift. People are leveling using SOs and IOs and simply bank their inf and purple-out at 50.

I don't get to play much. And when I do it's solo. I've only gotten about 1.5 levels out of AE.

Odds are, 1 acc is fine for you. If you find yourself missing alot (I doubt you will), then go ahead up upgrade to 2 acc.

I can only speak to PvE. If you're asking from a PvP standpoint, you'll have to ask one of the 7 guys that still PvP.

1 and 2 go together. Not sure exact details, but the PT nerf ultimatly resulted in less effective holding AND 'proc'ing of PT.
The nerf was implemented as a reuslt of an All Traps super team explointing how the power was designed.

I think that Fire/Traps is generally considered the best synergy. There are a few folks soling AVs with that combo.

AR is generally considered the 'worst' synergy. But the combo is quite playable, particularly in the late game.

Right now, Id say that the worst thing about Traps is trip mines and time bomb. Trip mines works pretty good for a soloer but it's hard to find it useful on a team. Time Bomb is generally considered worthless all around. It's good for some laughs, but hard to find a way to use it to bring value to a given situation. I don ot have either power in my build and I solo the vast majority of the time.

If an individual wanted to destroy influence, his best bet would be to farm for loot. Thats right. Farm for the pricest loot then when you sell the loot and get someones inf, destroy that inf by simply not redistributing back into the system.

In this sense you would be hoarding inf. If you managed to hit the 2b cap, then just buy a bunch of crap from vendors and trash it to open up more inf room.

Far-farm-farm-craft-craft-craft-sell-sell-sell. Then hold/desrtoy the inf.

I'm not familure with Fulcrum shift at all, so i'm not even sure if this is an legit question...

Lets say you had a defender but did not have kin as your secondary.

Would it be possible to buff yourself with reds to the point that it would be "like" you had a "temp" Fulcrum shift? Speaking damage wise only here obviously.
