I've watch the first 3 episodes of both now and I am slightly favouring Grimm. Although I do find the Evil Queen/Mayor eminently watchable.
My problems with Once Upon A Time mainly take the form of complaining to myself that the character's motives are all somewhat pantomime followed quickly by *facepalm*
Once Upon A Time has also made me realise how bitchy I am! I mean, this look does absolutely nothing for you! She looks far sexier as the Major.
Plus the Huntsman totally has the hots for the Major. -

Just want to say (and I think this very thread supports it) that audiences don't type-cast actors, producers do.
It also annoys me when the news agencies run stories about "actor/actress from successful cult genre X performing in mainstream genre Y" because they will inevitably do a bit about "fans of cult genre X coming to watch genre Y" and it will usually be pretty condescending. Whereas the simple truth is that people will follow actors they enjoy. -
Quote:I quite enjoyed Space Marine. Not a very long game but fun. The hero gets led away by the Inquisition at the end. Which I was (sorry Monty Python) totally expecting.Fat chance. Everyone wants to be a space marine, but nobody wants to be a Space Marine... Somehow, most people don't like being in the shoes of a psycopathic, xenophobic, conditioned killing machine.
In the grim darkness of the current present, there is only franchises ; dumbed down in the name of mass consumption and the almighty dollar. Really, wh40k is a setting best left to strategy games (so you can ignore the massive dump they take on the lore and just play the game). -

Quote:But but ...1) the comic audience is, on average, older than it used to be, and the comics have to cater to more mature, sophisticated tastes
Can you imagine anyone older than 15 embracing an X-men movie w/ the characters wearing their costumes from the comics?!
*cry*

Quote:As I said above everything from the Collectors edition (except the Hero click) is also available in the Deluxe edition which can be had for under £10, probably under $10. That includes the VIP Badge.i mostly only want to get the coh collector edition for the badge that comes with it lol, but i cant justify spending $100 to get a badge
personally i think the badge from that (VIP/destined one) should be awarded to you if you have a VIP account (ie make it a tier 9 VIP paragon reward)
the other stuff in the collector edition (heroclix figures, ect) i dont want anyway -
Quote:You are a bad bad manI have the Twilight books on a prominent place in my bookshelf. That way when girls come over and ask if I've read them I can tell them how bad they sucked. For some reason arguing with girls over how bad Twilight sucks has never failed me. It's become my go to move.

Quote:The 3 or 4 minutes is a LIE!One more dummy question.
Does queuing up on the LFG for any incarnate trial actually work? I ask because it said average of 3 minutes and I never popped to one in over 20 minutes but the Halloween one was very accurate on the wait time.
Or do people team up somewhere first and then queue up for it?
The quick way is to go to Pocket D and join a league there. Only use the LFG stuff for Incarnate Trials if you have something else to do for the next 40 minutes thats not going to require you enter a closed instance. -

City of Heroes Deluxe Version on Amazon
Ideal for starting a new account. If you want to upgrade your account you have to go through Customer Support because (as I said above) the web site upgrade no longer works for these items. Customer Support with want the serial code for your original account and a scan of the serial code from the box. -
Quote:That's what I was expecting this thread to be aboutTo address the original question: The ambush nerd is clearly whichever mission designer came up with the second mission in Who Will Die? Episode 1. I mean, what the hell.
Coincidentally (given some of the discussion above) its the one area of the game I have found that legitimately justifies triple stacking Lucks. At least, that's how I complete that section -
Quote:The only reason the collectors edition is that expensive is because of the "real world stuff" that comes with it i.e. the hero click figure. If you can get it that cheaply on Ebay then buy it. The cheapest I've seen the collector's edition sell for is $99 bucks.
You can buy the City of Heroes Deluxe (EU version) for under Ten English Pounds (I paid less than £6) and the nice people in Customer Support will apply the code to your account (since the web upgrade no longer works for these). The Deluxe version has everything the collectors edition has except the Statesman Hero Click, I believe.
PS: My account is a NA account, in case you are wondering.
PPS: Yes, I bought it solely so my Ice Controller could Power Slide -
Unusually for Hollywood in recent years it seems to be doing the same with males actors. Or "young" male actors anyway. When I saw trailers for Beastly I thought, "I've have seen deliberately uglier tat and piercing combos on my walk to work!"

Quote:My knowledge of other mmos is almost entirely second hand but I believe City of Heroes creates more private mission instances that most other games. And if the instance (or dungeon) is "open" then the question of there being a gate on team size doesn't come in to it.Does any other MMO let you do team content by yourself? like can you start a WoW raid solo? I'm really new to MMOs so I'm legitimately curious, what games let you start team intended content by yourself, suicidal or not?
I could be wrong though as I am a one MMO kind of guy -
BBC News Article about Steam Hacking
My experience with Steam has left me with a great dislike for the service. Now excuse me while I go change my account passwords. -
Quote:Actually that list has me worried. More than one in that list has phoned home their last film performanceI am digging the list of the dwarves, although I wish they would have showed them in the clip. Ian McShane, Eddie Izzard, Bob Hoskins, Toby Jones, Eddie Marsan, Steven Graham and Nick Frost c'mon this a list of win.

That trailer worked in that I am now interested in this film rather than writing it off completely.
Quote:I'm sorry? What? Generally speaking my personal tastes go brunettes > blondes but in this case its most definitely Theron > Stewart.Kristen Stewart (Twilight) plays the only person in the land fairer than the evil queen (Oscar winner Charlize Theron)
