I dunno about y'all, but I've already requested off 29 and 30, and I expect to go out mid Rikti Raid unless we last-minute switch to Hami.
Because **** those guys. If someone's gonna ice-9 this ****, I know exactly how to handle it. -
I always sort of assumed 'life partner' was one, and 'drinking buddies' was another of them.

Ah, someone beat me to it.

I've seen a lot of folks posting with the music that's capturing their mood. Here's mine.
Yeah, yeah, radio play.
Whatever.

This is where I learned to numbers.
Every time I've left City of Heroes, the Scrapper forum is what I've missed the most. I miss playing my Scrappers sometimes; my most recent 50 was a Brute, all my incompletes are other ATs, and I'm kicking myself for that. I'll have to pick a good Scrapper combo to go out on. Thinking between MA/Shield or something/EA.
I've never really put roots into a server. Triumph, a bit.
But the Scrapper forums... I know most of you. I've argued with most of you, and lost my share of those. I can't even imagine not being able to come back here after I map out some other game's ups and downs. Secret World right now, but...
man. -

We've had a great history of energetic and creative community managers. Thanks, Zwill, for being a part of our game.

BaBs, you could not buy better advertising.

I don't know. TSW (like most) is 5, DDO is 6. Hm.

Does it have to be these forums you have access to, sirrah?

The Secret World, Champions Online. I might give SWTOR or DCUO another shot. Maybe I'll go outside.
I can't believe we're losing this IP. It's come so far. -
You know what? Go promote my Wilderness Mastery APP. It's way cool, I promise.

You could always make a Peacebringer.
Most of the combinations I've never seen are either really bad, or really, really bad. Like TA/Beam Defender or an Energy/Storm Corruptor (at that point, your knockback is interfering with your knockback).
But uh... hm. I was considering a Merc/Nature (we're the planeteers! you can be one too! eco-terrorism is the thing to do! The power... is guns.) or Merc/Thermal MM recently. I rarely see Merc MMs, for fairly obvious reasons, but there are some synergies to explore there.
I dunno if I've ever seen an Ice/Ice Dom, because I probably would have mistaken it for a Blapper if I had. -

Actually, I suggest that every person who creates a name-wipe thread has all their characters name-wiped.
Everybody wins! -
Quote:More with the disagreeable agreements. I said the interval and magnitude of health recovery respect only interval and magnitude of damage, to which you said no, they matter relative to interval and magnitude of damage. However, if your incoming damage and HP recovery are comparable, you could still die when the averages wouldn't suggest it because you didn't get a chunk of HP back in time to save you from the next chunk of damage.
So yes. If your health recovery events are spaced further apart then the damage intervals, making them faster will matter even if the overall magnitude of health recovery is kept the same. If they are not, it won't, no matter how long or short those intervals actually are.
The relationship of health total and (edit: *continuous*/low-interval) health recovery magnitude seems significant only because if you're taking damage you care about, it's going to be large amounts of your health, so mitigating large amounts of that damage with health recovery is also going to be a noticeable portion of your health probably. And again, it isn't a terribly important distinction to make, because it's almost always going to be that way, but damnit Jim, I'm a logician, not an engineer.
Further edit: As I said earlier, higher-frequency lower-magnitude damage actually responds better to discrete (higher interval) health recovery, magnitude of low- or high- interval recovery events being equal, because the burst recovery kicks you out of a health total where that low magnitude is still a significant % into one where it's not. It is mitigation bursting, which works to reduce the severity of continuous damage just like burst damage works to reduce the effectiveness of continuous recovery.

I'm pretty sure whatever the Battalion actually is, we're going to see necro'd heroes in I25/26.
Edit : In before it's cool. If Statesman died due to having his powers drained... why can his zombie use his powers? -
