They were nice enough to schedule the outage during my vacation. I just lazed around, read the new Wild Cards hardcover, and went to the beach by the lakehouse.

Generally had a great time.

THis is the Exact issue I encountered yesterdday. I'm trying the new drivers now (Downloading) .. we'll see what happens.

Yeah, just saw the server status change finally, it kept saying 'Up' .. now it says 'Down'.

Ah, so ends my Sick Day.

Meh.. it keeps giving me a server error now when I try to sign back in after patching.

I was on a 1 Scrapper (me) 7 Blaster TF. It was always me and 3 blasters attacking, 2 prepping, and 2 returning from the Hospital.

Good times.

What do I need for a TF? Well, it helps to realize the difference between "Need" and "Want".

What do I "Need"?

Willing participants
Time

Pretty basic, really.

What do I "Want"? Things I 'Like" to have, but can do without:

Lots of:
Buffs, Debuffs, and Damage (in any combo)
Some Control (Tanker or Controller)
Variety (I don't care if it's me and 7 Controllers, Blasters, whatever - as long as they are mostly different types)

From the last info I read on it (in that guide):

Special Mention: the Performance Shifter +Endurance IO: this IO is a non-unique IO. Though it is not unique and thus you could install more then one of them, installing this IO into attack powers at this time means that the when the IO triggers successfully your attack WILL bestow Stamina to your foe and not to your character. So where do you put this IO where it will benefit your character? That’s Easy: this IO gets installed into STAMINA.

Note: ran a few more tests on TEST server with this Proc installed into assorted powers that siphon endurance from enemies, such as Kinetics/Transference and the Electric Melee powers. Result: don't install this Proc into those powers at all, every time the proc triggered it restored stamina to the enemy. Conclusion: AT THIS TIME (issue 12), this Proc is meant for Quick Recovery/Stamina/Kheldian Transformation powers, installing this Proc into any attack powers is a really BAD idea.

Then what do you call an In-Betweener like me, who chooses what they Frankenslot with so that I get some bonuses? I can six slot something with 2 or 3 of each set, and still get some nice bonuses, while keeping my performance in top shape.

I always use the Term 'Frankenslot' for mixing enhancements of various kinds. I think your description is more along the lines of "Extreme Frankenslotting".

I couldn't manage to fit the Fighting pool into my build at all, and I still have no real issues. I'd love it, but I just can't think what to get rid of.

Maybe I'll play around with the alternate build, and see what I can manage.

I can't decide which is worse about the Posi TF, the 4 straight "Run back and forth from one Zone to another Zone and Click on a Person" Missions or the final 4 straight "Defeat All missions".

It's just too long, and too mindless. It could easily be fixed if they cared to, but it's certainly a low priority.
