Underdog is here! -

I don't see that at all. We can now solo with a virtual team size of 8 at whatever difficulty level we want. This was the biggest boon ever to farmers.
He doesn't want to farm. He wants to be a sponge. He is outraged that he can't find a farmer to leech off. -

I would imagine that the Superleader makes the decision. That's how everything else works. And if they make it by majority vote, the Superleader can just kick everyone else if they want.

Quote:feh. I would just get to 10 and start doing task forces. Who needs contacts?(people seriously did the original origin contacts?
I'd just street sweep to 5 then go to Kings and to scanners to get a contact!)

NVidia's site says the maximum temp for that card is 105C.
So 72 shouldn't be an issue. -
Well, clearly someone doesn't understand much about it.

Quote:Well, to be fair, the version on live is the same as the FINAL version on Beta. It did go through changes during Beta. The version of Street Justice released live is exactly the same as the version that was on the beta server. /facepalm
Because they never had reason to check. This is the internet. Post a question about anything and you'll get multiple contradictory answers. The fact that some people are confused about the policy is completely irrelevant and unimportant. -
Now you're making up what their policy is? The policy is "No refunds." You've already been shown where it appears in writing. There is no trouble. There is no confusion. There is no lack of clarity.
-
Quote:Oh, yes, you obviously "have to" look into that. Random people on the internet should clearly be given greater credence than the official, written policy. They already have one. It's as clear and concise as is possible in the english language (or any other).
NO REFUNDS. -

Quote:And dragging this on and on, after an apology was offered and accepted, costs you some respect. Just drop it already!By attempting to point out his spelling errors to everyone you were trying to insinuate that he was either ignorant, uneducated or lazy. Pointing out ones flaws to everyone in an attempt to make yourself look better or smarter is unnecessary, especially in a thread such as this.
You gain nothing and in most cases, loose more respect from others than the individual you were pointing out. -
They are two completely different badges. If someone is collecting badges (which the OP seems to be doing), they would want BOTH. Note: When someone of Hero or Vigilante alignment has the Pilot badge, the name changes to 'Grounded'. You can get progress on the badge while being a Vigilante (by logging off next to the helicopters) but, in order for the badge to AWARD once you have a full progress bar, you must be either Villain or Rogue.

Quote:What was that line from Dr. Manhattan? Something like, "And the universe will not notice."Ive already decided what to do, i will write to customer service if they cant or wont help me, Ill just be suspending my account for 3-6 months till I get bored of a shortly coming out game that might include something with a little Force.
No harm no foul, Ill feel as if I cost them money they would have otherwise gotten, and feel satisfied without any of the fuss.
And, of course, there is some fuss - the fuss you're creating. If it really was about personal satisfaction, you would take that action without all the drama. By announcing it here, you're grandstanding.
Quote:Do you honestly think creating a batch of disgruntled players, who act disgruntled and complain on chat and forum really helps there game in any way?
Already done. It's clear and VERY concise: No. -
Quote:No, not really. Every one of those points is easily addressed by the player simply WAITING. The numbers are available in-game. Check them. If you want to see the animations, wait to see someone else using it. If you want to preview a power, check it out on Test AFTER it's released. While I agree with this, the developers do have the responsibility to do the following for this and any other power set that has to be purchased:
- Post the "preview" aka Intrepid Informer at least a week before it is released in the Paragon Market.
- Give full (and I mean FULL) statistics on the power in game, on the forums, and on the website when it becomes available on the Paragon Market.
- Show the animations/information in the character creator BEFORE purchase.
- At least a 1-2 week Test Server "preview" of the power set for players test the power set. It wasn't really available for open Beta to try it before it was yanked from the open beta.
Sometimes, yes. Many people find this hard to accept/understand but there is such a thing as a BAD CUSTOMER. I work at a steel company and we have 'fired' customers. Some customers are not profitable to the company (or not AS profitable as other customers) so you ditch them. -
There's Maria Jenkins, Chris Jenkins and Arachnos Agent Jenkins. No indication that any of them are related.

Quote:Again, I point out that many businesses in many industries have policies of no refunds. The only exception is if a product is defective. "I decided I don't like it" does not qualify. But again, not good business.
You never want to loose a customer for stupid reasons, and not offering a refund even if the customer is wrong is one of them.
Personally, I feel a 'no refunds' policy in the in-game store is just fine. And I feel it is, in fact, 'good business'. Offering refunds in a system like this introduces all kinds of problems. -
I don't have any pictures, but:
The Polar Lights look like the wisps that flitter around in Croatoa.
Storm Elementals can be seen in the Storm Palace and the Cathedral of Pain trial. -
You should get the Paragon Reward Tokens pretty much instantly. Some people have had to log out and back in for them to award, but I didn't. When I checked my Rewards screen, the Tokens had already been posted.
If they don't show up within a matter of minutes and a relog, file a petition. -
Quote:Yep. So did I. Copied my main toon over multiple times to convert inf to prestige to build it. Not going to go through that again so I guess I won't ever be testing anything base-related again. (shrug) Whatever.I hear you. I had a pretty well developed and stocked base on test, and it made it possible to actually test things.
Everyone feel free to post how stupid I was for thinking that stuff might stick around (like some of you have already been doing). I'll continue to hold the opinion that it was stupid to wipe the Test Server because it makes it less likely that people will - DUH! - actually TEST things.
Edit: Oh, bravo. I just went to make a copy of my main character for records/testing purposes and the copy tool is down. -
My understanding is that a player initiated charge-back gets the account permanently closed. Of course this is just hearsay. I don't know anyone who has done this.
