It's the resolution, not the size. As far as I can tell, the shot is the same width as my monitor, which is 1080x1920. Mine is a 23" HD widescreen.

Anyway, I'd start with making sure you have plenty of accuracy and recharge. The damage on Fire Cages is pretty 'meh'. You're not going to be relying on that to take out the enemy. That will be done by your pets, Hot Feet or an Ancillary AoE attack at higher level. If you have enough damage from other sources, the enemies won't live long enough for the immobilize duration to be a concern.
Still, once you have the accuracy and recharge covered, if you've got some slots left over, damage certainly wouldn't hurt. -

My next tank will be SR/StJ. The reasons are:
1) I have already taken every other armor set to 50.
2) My concept demanded an unarmed combat set and I have already taken SS and MA to 50.
So, process of elimination put me there. -

This feature is a bit buggy. When you leave a character on ghide and then log out, it reliably keeps you hidden the next time you log in. BUT, if you then log in to a character that was NOT hidden, the new character will sometimes 'inherit' the hidden setting.
