  1. It's worth noting, you only have to save him ONCE in the earlier arcs but you get TWO opportunities. If you save him in Heather's arc, which is easy as he is in direct line of sight, you can safely ignore him later on in the twisting tunnels.

Same thing with Madame Bellerose. You only need to save her once in the earlier arcs and you'll be able to get the badge in the Doctor's arc.

I forgot about the badge until I saw the timer and was running at +2 *AND* had a lot of runners so I failed on the first attempt.

On the second run, I planned ahead. I cleared the surrounding street so that I'd be able to spot runners more easily. Then I lead Leo up there and superjumped away so I would lose him. That put him right in the middle of the enemy spawns when they appeared. They didn't aggro on each other until I got near him again, but this let me avoid having to lead him while on the clock and got a bit of help from him.

I'd like to highlight this as it offers the best of both worlds. If you don't purchase an Invention License, you can switch each character to the 2nd build and set them up with SO's. If you get access to IO's at some point in the future, just switch back to the original build and you're ready to go.

You can switch builds as often as you like, by talking to any trainer, limited only by a 15 minute cooldown on switching. The cooldown is to avoid abuse since switching builds recharges all powers - including those with super long recharge times like the mission teleporter.

Actually, I was running the arc with a friend and we both liked the costume. She has a tiara and earrings. We need more cool stuff.
  5. I've had the same email address since before I started playing CoH. I used to get the emails. I no longer do.

Hell yeah! I made sure to fully slot both for recharge. With global bonuses, I can keep Power Boosted Farsight up at all times. I have them right next to each other in my tray. I hit Power Boost, I hit Farsight, then anything else that might benefit and is also recharged.
  7. Interesting. I ran all of Bane Spider Ruben's arc on Saturday and all missions loaded fine (using Ouro, as my badger is level 50). I don't recall the title - is that the mission where you have an army? I got some lag once I was on the map, presumably due to the large number of NPC's, but I didn't have any problem getting into the mission.

I wonder if the presence of so many character models right near the mission entrance might be a factor.

Yeah, I saw that happen last night. When I soloed this on my badger, no problems. Last night, ran in a duo and my character, who was not the mission owner, got the badge while the owner did not. I told my teammate to petition it.
  10. As stated in this thread, turning up your difficulty definitely improves the rate of iXP gain. I ran through almost the entire arc on kind of a squishy team at base setting. Today I ran some of the arcs with my brother while playing one of my better tanks. We ran at +2 and the iXP was very noticeably improved. iXP rate seems fine.

Rate of thread drops seems in the ballpark of okay. I haven't really run enough of the content to have a good feel for it. Mainly because my first run-through was on a toon that's all tier 4 so I was completely ignoring the drops.

I wasn't aware that there was a timer across all arcs and that it was 20 hours. That seems a bit harsh. Not draconian, but 'somewhat' stingy. With 6 arcs, I think a good solution would be to have arcs 1, 3 and 5 on a timer and 2, 4 and 6 on a different timer.

As for the content - A#1. Very nice.

Sure we are. You have to talk to one of the NPC's at the beginning standing near the Commander. I just can't recall their names. I think the villain one is Spy Master Something Or Other.

Anyone on the team can talk to them. When we ran it, the leader wasn't familiar with it so I talked to the contact. Other people 'collected' the meteors. They work like a normal glowie. When you get your mouse pointer close, it turns into a blue hand symbol.

Shoot me a PM here or in-game at @Hyperstrike1 and we can discuss equitable rates.
What servers? I have actually been creating, PL'ing, AFK PvP'ing (to 400 rep for the Longbow Warden 2 gladiator) and transferring toons to other servers for the purpose of earning the SG healing badges for small/solo SG's. I've earned the badges for 47 SG's so far.

This means I have a number of unaffiliated toons on multiple servers.

P.S. I'm posting here, rather than sending a PM, so people who need the SG healing badges might notice.

P.P.S. I don't accept compensation of any sort.

P.P.P.S. I thought it was 500 kills. Was it reduced? Never mind. Paragonwiki says it was originally 750 and reduced to 250.

This statement is ridiculous on its face. You can't 'guarantee' JACK about the code since you didn't write it.

My guess would be because they were focusing on dogs/wolves at the time. The lion probably came along a bit late. A black cat would have made more sense.

Drowning in Blood? Okay, I have not run it yet, so this is hearsay. But I heard the experience earned is less than DFB for the time invested. Could the Devs really have missed that T-ball practice lob over the plate?
I haven't run it yet, either, but leveling is always slower at higher and higher levels. This might just reflect that and be proportionally consistent with other content.

Yes, that's how it's supposed to work. However, for whatever reason (bug), you can get shards during an iTrial while you are in the hospital.
  22. Yeah, it's always been like that. I dual box a lot so I notice it.
  23. I haven't noticed a pattern, but that can happen with any onscreen notification. I ran an STF last week and someone said they didn't get a Notice of the Well. What they meant was that they didn't get an announcement on the screen. It showed up in the chat log.

I saw the previous film and it was funny. Stupid, but very entertaining. Besides, any movie with Christopher Lloyd as a crazy scientist works for me.
