I wouldn't think so. My main is all tier 4. A couple of other toons have SOME tier 4's. The rest (over 20 others) simply don't bother going past tier 3 in any slot. It's just not worth the time/salvage.
On 'damage dealers', I'll slot Interface and Judgement as quickly as possible. On defenders, I'll often IGNORE those slots while I stockpile salvage so I can work on Lore and Destiny as soon as I unlock them. Overall, I think Destiny is the best. If I'm going to run iTrials that only provide one type of iXP, I'll focus on getting Destiny unlocked. The powers are great AND it provides a level shift. -

Cool. There's also an iTrial summary page. I just updated that.

Quote:You know, if you want to make it to the big leagues as a hero, you need to pay more attention to stuff like that.A mysterious woman had just cast a magic spell on me to let me breathe in space so that I could team up with a 100 year old guy with spider legs grownig out of his back to take down a guy who'd stolen the powers of another 100 year old guy, left a fleet of battleships hanging in the air over the Pacific, and created his own island to float up into space where he was going to merge with a mad god from another dimension - I didn't really notice the lack of reduced gravity
It does? I left the field early on just to see what it looked like and how much damage it did. I saw no graphic effect at all and I have Ultra Mode on. As for the damage... <shrug> 900 points every 30 seconds and my Reconstruction recharges in less than 25 seconds. -
Yeah, I did that too. When I was on a farming channel, I made it brown - the color of dirt.
Offhand, I think I'm on 6 SG channels, 7 TF/teaming channels specific to my server, one cross-server help channel and The Market channel. hmm... If I'm remembering correctly, that means I'm full. We can only be on 15 channels.
Quote:and now I think I'll have to do that on all of my characters, or that will drive me crazy too.
When I create a new character, I load my default bind file from the command line. That file has binds to load other stuff. -
Not necessarily. If converters are using the same drop qualifications as tips, then you can't get either in Perez. Tips require the defeated enemy to be at least level 20. TwoHeadedBoy specifically said he was street sweeping for tips (and Sharkhead is a level 20-30 zone).

Seriously? I ask an honest question and cite the most well-known and easy-to-find source and you have to cop an attitude and get in my face? You could have conveyed exactly the same information without being a jerk by saying, "Yes, per the patch notes here:".

Quote:That, I don't know. I've never bought one.Do you know whether it's possible to buy them without confirming?
Quote:I'm 99% sure that you can buy them from the vendor without confirming your alignment.
I believe the reason for the necessity of confirmation for the morality mission reward was because of a bug with that mechanic. The vendor avoids that mechanic.
Quote:Now I have NEVER moved from being a hero on my hero characters. Not once. And yet I can't pick hero alignment merits all of a sudden, except on my characters that ran the morality missions. I am not sure when this changed, since I was running SSA's before I22 came out and picking hero merits just fine. -

Quote:You'd think that initially, but.... at the same time, they added an Icon location to Atlas Park anyway.Hit level 4 & checked out Lady Liberty's dialogue box as suggested.
HOLY WOW, tailor options? Hallelujah!
No more taking your lowbie life in your hands doing the Steel Canyon Run to fix this or that detail that doesn't look quite right in game. Well played, Paragon Studios.
Not to mention that there is a tailor in the Vanguard base in RWZ, which you can access at level 1 and enter from Atlas Park. -
hmm... I've taken both to level 50, but not on the same toon. I can't think of any reason why they wouldn't play well together unlike, for example, Street Justice. The -recharge from Granite would kill your ability to build your combo level. But martial arts should be fine.
I think that doing the martial arts moves in granite armor would LOOK weird. I saw a guy in granite armor with dual blades and it was pretty funny. -

Quote:Are we sure it even has an improved chance? ParagonWiki makes no mention of that, although it DOES say that for Keyes Island.First TPN run (each 20h) is a guaranteed R/VR? I thought that was only UG. Great to know

Quote:errr.. no. They might have earned them before this system was put into place. I have plenty of toons who got A-Merits from the signature arcs but are no longer eligible to earn them since they have never CONFIRMED their alignment. A lot of those are below level 20. Previously, you could start earning A-Merits from the arcs once you hit the minimum level for the first arc, which is level 10. But now, since you can't get a morality mission until level 20, you can't earn A-Merits from the signature arcs before level 20.With 8 hero merits in inventory, it sounds like the OP should certainly have access to the hero merit reward at the end of the arc.
Correct. You can't earn them from morality missions either at that point. Say you're a Rogue. You run a hero morality mission to change to hero. Then, you run ANOTHER - that earns you 50 REWARD merits as you confirm your alignment. THEN you can earn A-Merits either from morality missions or the signature arcs. -

Quote:Well, the simplest and most direct response is, "You're mistaken." Don't think of this as a 7 year old game. The graphics (which is where your problem lies) have been updated multiple times and, in comparison with some MMO's, this game is very graphically demanding.I run a brand newish HP Pavilion g6 (admittedly, a little less fly than a g6) with nondedicated intel card (1024mb video mem) on Windows 7 64bit OS and i feel like it should be able to run a 7 year old game at a little better than at min settings at 1366 x 768 x_x

Fine, but you're envisioning what it could mutate into. That's not what the OP wanted, not what I want, probably not what any of the players want. I think the OP's idea is a good one.

Quote:Actually, that part has been there for a while.Talk to Prometheus after completing the arc and choose:
I have earned the right to know more about the Well.
I'm thinking that got put in at the same time as Minds of Mayhem, maybe.
Quote:Care to explain to me why you never told me I could ascend to become a "Well", Prometheus?
Lots of new dialog about Ascension. -
Well, I have two complaints.
1) The bit at the end with the information about "Where are they now?"
I'm sorry, but when that bit started, I was seeing:
Daniel Simpson Day - Whereabouts unknown.
Senator and Mrs. John Blutarski - Living in Washington, DC.
Greg Marmalard - etc......
2) What? Vanguard has a rocket to send me into space?
And.... COME ON! NOT EVEN A CUTSCENE? SHOW ME A LAUNCH, WILL YA????
Aside from those nitpicks, I loved it. -
It's perfectly clear (once you understand it).
In order to be eligible to earn Alignment Merits, you must be a hero (or villain) and have CONFIRMED your alignment. If you have always been a hero, then do 10 alignment missions and a hero morality mission, and you will be able to earn A-Merits. If you have changed your alignment, you need to get back to hero by tips and a hero morality mission, then do TEN MORE ALIGNMENT MISSIONS and ANOTHER HERO MORALITY MISSION.
So you have to *BE* a hero *AND* then do a hero morality mission. (In all cases, you can substitute the word 'villain' for 'hero'.) Regarding the terminology in the reward pop-up, if you are a rogue and do a hero morality mission, that was CHANGING your alignment, not CONFIRMING it. -

In my case, I haven't noticed any change. It consistently runs fine and has for years. I can dual box. I can do iTrials and mothership raids. And my internet sucks like a tornado. My connection is slow, unreliable and lightning in the area knocks it out completely.

Cool. Since that's not in any way what the OP was suggesting.
I think you're imagining that. Some people use third party sites that dynamically generate images indicating whether the person is playing a particular game, then incorporate those images as their avatar or in a signature.
