Well, if we're getting technical, I didn't say "all", did I?

But it's not that way for everyone. Or even most. So I guess it's more of a "failure to plan". What's that saying..... If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.

Once again, being forced to exit a mission to get more insps is a failure of design,
Once again, the failure is in your performance and not the design of the encounter.

yeah, yeah, yeah, whatever. This is like the change to Trapdoor. Bug fix? Exploit fix? We can't tell without knowing the Devs' *INTENT*. We don't know if they consider it a bug fix or it was done purely in reaction to players finding a strategy that didn't occur to them.

All we know is, from our point of view, a change was made that screws us.
  4. He's referring to the speed at which moving the mouse will turn your camera (if you hold the center button) or your character (if you hold the right button).
    It's under:
    Menu
    Options
    Controls
    Control Sensitivity
    Mouse Look

The slider in the menu only goes up to 200.

hmm.... the 'Turning' option right below it may cover part of what I described. Whatever. I set these things years ago and don't recall what they do now.

Most of The Guild's material refers to WoW, which has a much higher level cap. (80, I think, currently.)

    Sadly, fools abound.
This is why the ability to 'one-star' players and add notes was such a quality of life improvement.

I was doing the Praetorian arc with an invuln tank who offered to herd the wolves. And died. And died. And died. I checked her power icons and saw that Temporary Invulnerability was.... off? I checked her power list and she didn't even HAVE the power - but thought she could herd all-smashing damage enemies.

That's about how I felt also. I didn't even last 3/4 through the first season.
  10. Elvish has left the building.
You just KNOW you're going to get at least one person with an elf Elvis Presley.
  11. Well.... you can get the Snowflakes emote and have that year-round. I have that on my WP/ice tank.

Wrong. If you have not done the arc, you can not earn Vanguard Merits.

    ParagonWiki states:

If you don't have the Member of the Vanguard badge, no Vanguard Merits will drop, no matter how many Rikti you defeat, or how many missions you complete.

Say what? Brought back down? He just isn't that tough. When you compare him to Nosferatu, who has been in the game for YEARS, Trapdoor is not at all overpowered or unreasonable.

*THAT* is the status quo - occasionally you'll find an EB who is genuinely tough and who many people can not solo.

Thinking that morality and geneitcs have anything to do with each other is a very old fashioned mindset.
I'm in agreement with Master-Blade. Furthermore, the line that I've highlighted is flat-out false. Or are you overlooking the existence of implants?

On a side note, there are no genetics in a video game.

    Well, here's a relevant quote:
"God, look at that sexist cow... the unbelievably long legs... the enormous bosom... the mass of hair... and the EXCEPTIONALLY SMALL HEAD! Do you realize that her head is SMALLER than her breasts?"

That quote is from a Marshal Law comic book published in 1987. So, not only is this recognized in the comic genre, the genre was mocking itself about it 23 years ago.

umm.... bad luck, I guess. I soloed the Baby New Year mission on my tank, set to team size of 6, and had my 3 tips in one run.

I think that is an INCREDIBLY horrible idea. Our powers would work differently at different times. Even with PvP rules, we know they work one way normally and another way in a PvP zone. With your suggestion, they would work differently every time and we wouldn't know the details in advance. Horrible.
  18. The only down side to Inertial Reduction is that it makes you REALLY maneuverable. It's like a sports car vs a station wagon. You'll probably need a few runs just to get used to it but, once you do, you can turn in really excellent times - IF you have decent twitch gaming skills.

Oh, and the way I got the ski slope badges using only Combat Jumping - MEMORIZE the course. Do a few runs where you count the gates out loud as you pass them. That will help you know when you need to turn so you can ANTICIPATE the turns. If you wait until you pass a gate to start looking for the next one, you're hosed.

    Fixed that for ya.

Nope. Most of the zone events can't be triggered. Just have to wait for it to happen. Make sure you have the 'Hero Zone Events' channel in your chat window so it will tell you when a raid starts.

Yes, it is very simple. Another option is to play it in a 'less clicky' manner; i.e. not speed boosting the entire team at all times.
