    Same as always - farming it.
    Find an enemy with a slow-recharging, big attack.
    Pop some purples so you can activate Rest right next to it.
    Ideally, they will nail you for epic damage, the one-shot code will save you, and you heal to full before the next hit.

    Some people recommend one of the Rikti bosses. I used a Rularuu Brute.

    You're fine. In fact, I asked a related question when this was announced. A couple months ago, one of my accounts mysteriously failed to auto-renew (3 month auto-renewing). I got an email from NCSoft that the account had lapsed and immediately re-upped. My account actually LAPSED for several hours.

    When the rewards were announced, I explained what had happened to me previously and said I'd be pretty annoyed if I lost out because NCSoft's billing was borked. I was told that the account needs to be active every day - as long as a lapse is less than 24 hours, you're fine. In your case, the account never lapsed at all.

    Worst builds I ever saw.... I guess there were a few that were missing some absolutely key power.
    • The /regen scrapper who was level 40 and kept getting held in a Carnie mission. I was going to tell him to turn on Integration but noticed that he didn't have it.
    • The invuln tank who absolutely insisted she was an expert at herding and would gather up Shadowhunter's wolves. Oddly, they kept killing her in seconds. Oh, because Temporary Invunerability wasn't on? No, because she didn't even HAVE it.
    • The rad defender assembling a team to do Maria Jenkins' arc..... with the second person on the team being his buddy who was also a rad def. And neither of them had EVEN ONE DEBUFF POWER.

    I don't think 50 is unreasonable, but it's at the high end of 'reasonable' so I would agree we don't need any more. I gauge the 'reasonableness' against the other final epic badges (healing, influence, etc). Even with those having been reduced, I think most of them will take longer than the Partner badge.

    No, the tier 3 AND the tier 4 give you a level shift. You can only have one active, but you don't have to wait for the 4th tier to get the level shift.

    I agree. A boss would drop either 3 or nothing. There is no partial credit on the Vanguard Merits for defeats.

    I would hope the devs would have more of a clue than to use the WST run times to adjust the rewards. I ran the Kahn TF for my SG on Friday and we ran it like we always run our TF's - no speeding at all. We cleared a path to every objective, detouring to any mobs within a reasonable distance to either side. I made it clear we weren't speeding, I told them I expected it would be 90 minutes and the actual time was 99.

    On the other hand, on the other 22 runs since Tuesday, I would estimate the average time was around 30-33 minutes. We sped and stealthed everything we possibly could. The runs this week are not typical - particularly since the introduction of shards.

    Yes, that would be above average, but that is such a small data sample that it's completely meaningless in any evaluation of the drop rate.

    I don't agree at all. My /regen scrapper is my favorite scrapper. I tried a few other secondaries but, since I am used to playing them on tanks, I found them grossly deficient on a scrapper. Regen has the 'potential' to be more survivable than most of the other sets, but you need to anticipate attacks and react quickly. Sometimes triggering Dull Pain before you take any damage will mean the difference between living and dying.

    As for Reichsman, his attacks are over the top. On one run, I died less than a stone tank running Granite. (And my primary is broadsword, so I was standing right next to the enemy the entire fight.) It's just bad luck you got obliterated multiple times.

    No, Atomic was not wrong. We can state with absolute certainty that "quite a lot of characters collecting dust and keeping names tied up." Now, we can debate just how many constitutes "quite a lot" but there can be zero doubt that a great many names are held by inactive accounts.
