Remove PvP rep cap
PvP character Slots that will remove the need for PvP builds
and will allow to create a PvP character on the go and simply enter straight away the PvP zone. Without the option to exit from it.

PvP in game Hall of Fame
Remove debt from pvp zones
Link the EU PvP zones to each other
Create an international PvP server where Korea,USA,Europe players battle it out giving the opportunity for worldwide CoH events
Solve asap major PvP issues such as toggle dropping
Allow Villains and Heroes teaming in warburg
Lower base item prices so that smaller SG's can participate in Base Raiding.

For now I would settle with a PvP developer, one that only focuses on making PvP better. And then get some of these things down the line, cause right now PvP suffers from having no goals, no reason to improve. -
Troller are only overpowered in duals, in team situations they are very ballanced IMO. Im pretty sure Nights team would win, it depends a bit on the secondary of the controllers thou. But against most controller team odds are on the villain team.
Diverse buffing is the solution for good teams right now. We are comming to union now as villain, so in about a month I figure we are ready to clear sirens and warburg, just to show villains are by no means underpowered. Well they are in duals, but they arent in team fights. -

PvP is so damn easy in this game it isn't even funny. Get a good build, get one or two tips and start having Arena matches/stepping into PvP zones. I give it about a week before you know practically everything you need to know.
Tactics? Teamwork? Co-ordination?
Get Teamspeak and your troubles are solved. Or take a typing class so you can type quickly in Teamchat, maybe make a few binds.

What is that exactly? It's not hard to find out what powers work best and when. Is that it?

Sure, that why I kill the he4l0r first, but the questing was hypothetical. You cant really kill anything without buffs if they have a good empath backing them. Well I could pop 15 reds and 2 hit kill him, but that about it. -

They used loads of simulated battles, they found it was about even at lvl 30. I can remember where, just search for castle's(devs digest US boards) post, I think they are about 2 months old.

I agree with NB you should consider going fire / kin / fire. But lets see what I7 brings first, I think you should keep your respec until I7 cause there will be some changes with powerboost affecting kin.

Its how I was gonna slot it, if I can find the slots. 2 range is a must, 1 recharge is nice, that way sb and id recharges in sync making buffing easier. The dam res is optional, but def. something I like in it.

It would probally be a very good idea if you did this in bloody bay since you can avoid most of the PvPers. If I run into a group in warburg or sirens and its orange I shoot first and ask questions later.
In bloody bay there are seldom people around except those getting shiva's and doing missions. -

i'm from the french server and there are some questions i would like to ask you about your raid. we did a raid on friday and we also defeated the jelly, my questions are :
- how many of you attended the raid, i would also like to know the numbers regarding the different at ( tanks, scrappers, defs... )
- Did you use the same tactics than pre ED ?
- how much lag was there ?
- do you make the teams in advance ?
I've read somewhere that it took you only 90 mins, so my question is : How did you do this ??

Question 1) It only matter how many controllers and defenders there are. Get 30+ Controllers.
2) Yes same tactic as pre ED, except for 1 small detail we did everything and I do mean everything we could to reduce lag, particular server lag.
3) It wasnt bad, except during the clearing fase, but right now we are thinking about how to make it go faster and more smoothly.

Yeah, felt like Hami was held almost instantly and before we knew it, he was below 50%.. We must have done something right

The holding phase lasted so little due to the amount of pure holders as well as the recharge times of holding spam.
Herostats came up with the number 14 for AM's stacked plus 4 SB's. This explains the speed of the hold phase and the success in killing hami. The more often these holders appear the better for everyone

What is even more important was that there was absolutly no interference in the flow of holds from powers that didnt need to be there. That was IMO the main reason to not getting a server crash. -

I would like some feedback on the raid apart from GJ and stuff like that. Reason is that I would like to improve my guide to make things run more smoothly. Was there part of the guide that was obscure, would you like a full explanation of hamidon?, was it too boring being a scrapper / tank and being forced to stand at the side waiting for a HO during the holding fase.
IMO the best part of the raid was using the tank and hamidon aggro to clear hamidon of persons attacking him. We actually killed arround 5 people on purpose cause they were doing stuff they werent suposed to.
It worked really well to have all the leaders of the different groups on teamspeak so there was never any confusement about how far into the raid we was and what we should do.
BTW It took less that 2 mins to hold hamidon. -

Have to agree with X. His pentad team are a nightmare to fight against. Gatling (their blaster) I think i seen twice in the 10min match we had out doors. PvPers have said to me theres to many -fly powers to make fly viable in pentad matchs. My team had had 5 -fly powers between us but if you cant find your target they arnt much use. "Ninja Empath"

Now the question is, can you with fly keep CM om your entire pentad team and stay alive. Then general rule is you actually want to stay close to your team and fly is just too slow. For buff bots only fly sometimes work, but that guy asked for an attacking build, attacking and flying doesnt work, cause it uses a [censored] load of endurance and the supression is a killer. When I see a stalker who is annoying in sirens I go and buy webgranades -jump and -fly and wait for him to apear and attack some1 else. In the arena I allways carry loads of webgranades. And only the ss + sj combo works as a counter. Getting -fly and -jump when your travelpowers are jumps and fly you have a problem. Flying and ss'ing in general is bad when you meet opponents that have loads of slows. On my kin Im going with Jumping to get acrobatics. I will also try to get IR and SS into my build. -

Good players tend to jump in and out of combat, so getting off transfusion for heals can be very hard. I would prolly keep your slotting, just dont expect it to heal you very often. And as Archy pointed out if can give you containment. Its prolly an exploit, but I say use it until they fix it.
02) --> Blind==> Acc(2) EndopExp(3) Hold(3) Hold(5) Rechg(5) Rechg(7)
you want 2 recharges in there, its faster for stacking holds. Lets do a little experiment about slotting holds. 2 acc 3 hold 1 recharge or 2 acc 1 hold 3 recharges? Which one gets through mez protections first?, the 1 with recharges 5secs+5secs+5sec+5secs is much faster than 10secs+10secs+10secs+10secs, and stacking potential is about the same.
04) --> Siphon Power==> Acc(4) Acc(43) Rechg(46) Rechg(48) Rechg(50)
Throw and end red in there also if you got space, this is your best way to increase damage, and is bloody awesome for debuffing your opponents damage in 1 on 1s.

Hurdle instead, and slot it.
08) --> Hasten==> Rechg(8) Rechg(9) Rechg(9)
10) --> Hover==> Fly(10) Fly(46) Fly(46)
Lets take a time out to discuss travelpowers. Having a travel power is your best protection from melee and you way to run if things are bad for you. There is no reason to fight if your completly debuffed, IMO fight when its good for you, not on your opponents terms.
So what do we need from this, well if your fighting a guy like Chives, who has absolutly no jumps you just siphon speed him if your health is getting low and run the hell out of there to recharge your powers if the fight is going wrong. The problem is this tactic can also be used against you, movement slows are very very nasty in this came and jumping arround allmost negates them, so you prolly want some kind of jump power. Fly and Running are easily stopped. But there still is a few powers with - jump so its normal for people to have a back up. So you have 2 options, forgetting about IR and gettin combat jump, superjump and acrobatics or taking IR and getting other powers. Believe me you want 1 of those.
In general you want to have 2 travelpowers in PvP, 1 main and 1 backup if the first one gets one of the counters on it. If you want hover, perhaps go IR and hover and skip ss.
12) --> Siphon Speed==> Acc(12) Acc(29) Slow(31) Rechg(31) Rechg(34) Rechg(34)
Skip the slow, it only affects movement slows and its good enough from the base value. This power is mostly to enhance your own recharge and to stop non jumpers from getting away. I would prolly change the slow to a range.
14) --> Super Speed==> Run(14)
Needs an end red and perhaps a run more. In PvP you sometimes try to get over the cap to alow for some extra debuffs.
16) --> Health==> Heal(16)
Perhaps taking swift is better, health isnt going to save you from anything. The only thing its good for is reducing downtime if PvE by a very small margin, but since swift is [censored] too Ill leave it up to you.
18) --> Phantom Army==> Dmg(18) Dmg(19) Dmg(19) Rechg(23) Rechg(23) Rechg(25)
Best slotting IMO.
20) --> Stamina==> EndMod(20) EndMod(21) EndMod(21)
22) --> Increase Density==> DmgRes(22)
This is one of those powers that are superb for teams and would be awesome if you have slots for it. 1 range is a minimum. Buffing in PvP with people running all over the place demands ranges. Best slotting is 3 dam res 2 range 1 recharge. Then if you start needing slots you go take the 3 dam out first, then the recharge then the range.
24) --> Assault==> EndRdx(24)
This is for getting tactics, no a huge reason to run it.
26) --> Tactics==> TH_Buf(26) TH_Buf(27) TH_Buf(27) EndRdx(29)
Perhaps 1 end more.
28) --> Spectral Terror==> Acc(28) Acc(37) Range(40)
It doesnt really need more, but if you have the slots 2 fears more.

Only really good against pets or people without BFs. Its great for getting your opponent to desummon his pet, but seriously its so much of a situational power I would skil it. And if I take it 2 acc 2 confuse. Besides your build has spectral terror which is brilliant against pets.
32) --> Phantasm==> Acc(32) Acc(33) Dmg(33) Dmg(33) Dmg(34)
Another power you could skip, but its nice to have for some extra damage in warburg. Its one of the first thing to go if you need other powers.

Hm I would prolly slot 2 acc 3 end. With powerboost its really nice to spike people's end. You can get arround half so wait for it.

Take Sup invis, and skit the recharge.

It recharges fast, get an end or 2 in there.

In team PvP you slot it 2 end, 2 runs 2 range IMO. Since people use more burst damage the extra end isnt really that needed. So if your going with 3 slots go 2 range, 1 end.

Btw you have prolly overslotted deceive, in PvP is a situational power not at spam button.

What are you making the build for? team PvP or soloing?. Cause your build is way off for a team build and its not optimised for soloing.

For alot of PvP controller sets primal is the way to go, because powerboost is so awesome. Imagine having all your slow being twice as efficient. An ice troller is normally annoying, but if he has powerboost you only get to press your powers 1 time for the next 30 secs. Believe me its worth it.
Damage wise psy isnt all that, the blasts sucks for PvP. The only reason for taking psy for PvP is if you play support for your toon, but even then powerboost is often better. For most PvP controller builds psy is the worst to take. I tried fighting nad troller, one of the better PvP controllers on my blaster, he absolutly demolished me when he has powerboost, but he changed to psy epic on live and I got a draw. The difference was the easy kills after powerboost + lingering radiation, I wasnt able to move or recharge anything. when I was fighting psy I was able to run alot so he didnt drain me of so many BFs, another thing powerboost is excelent at. On test I was out of BFs after 6 mins on live he didnt drain em all. Being out of BFs after 6 mins against a troller sucks. Besides indom will isnt that hard to stack holds through.
And for PvE fire is just the best.
But hey Im a min / max'er, All the epics are good.
BTW ice storm doesnt get containment until I7. -

I read the guide, I think its a sure way to crash the server.
As far as I know US left from this strategi when ED hit, cause the kin / healing cells werent strong enough. But Im really interested in how it turns out and good luck.
