1. Spines regen, best overall without a doubt. Tough as nails to kill and good damage cause they can bring all reds.
For soloing in zones I prefer spines sr, but generally spines regen is the best PvP scrap.
2. I have no idea in this game, normally its when a superior force simply beats the [censored] out of people that doesnt have a chance to fight back. So I guess 3 people with very good skill can be called gankers. Cause what is generally in the zones cant fight 3 good people with good choice of ATs working together.
I have beaten the [censored] out of 20+ villains with an emp by my side(Elerith). Did we gank them? They didnt have a chance really.

And golden girl stop PLing your postcount.

my Spines/SR Scrapper is a beast

till they run into a ice/kin corr with some insight insps

[/ QUOTE ]

= ice kin dies. Try ice rad.
4. Would like to challenge the person who wins on test server.
5. Depends on mood really. I like my spines sr pretty much and my ice em when I play attack.

And in duels my ill rad is pretty fun, more so than my grav rad.

Im not very good at playing support so I guess my absolut favourite AT is a blaster namely Freon.
6. Not quite sure about what you wanna know, its an ok build nothing special but ok.
7. What paper?, all dom builds would suck in solo PvP unless they fight n00bs that doesnt use break free's.
8. [ QUOTE ]
I think the issue is Dom's don't suck in teams, but rather have some issues solo, and while CoX is an MMO, the Dominator AT looks in powers very much like a set that is supposed to be self sufficient.

[/ QUOTE ]

What do you mean with that its supposed to be self sufficient? It has no shields, no damage reducers, no defence? I dont see how dominators are in anyway self sufficient.
9. Doms dont suck, they are very very good. They just require support which you dont really find in the zones.
10. Hm low burst damage, low surviability cause of fire primary(for a tank). Dont make a PvP build.
11. I could throw alot of the math down and start building some arguments but I cant be bothered. My advice Wilf is dont, there are so many more usefull powers to get.

Since ED the only viable solution for defence is basicly the motto you dont have to tank it if its dead(except for granite or invul if your fighting certain mobs, where you dont need weave anyway). Going by that motto alot of pool powers and probally also your secondary powers are more usefull.

A quick poll

For me its a mixed feeling

Sirens for layout, its not too big and therefor can have more action.

Warburg for powers, IMO the best ballance in the game is at lvl 38 pre epics.

RV for best potential, but the zone is too filled with PvE to make any decent for of PvP viable. Perhaps if there was signups for the zone, like wow and people actually played the game of taking bases it would be awesome but for casual PvP where you just try to get kills it absolutly sucks.

Simple solution, like i did on my fire/emp controller..

last cossie slot = Hami Cossie (no more/no less), I don't need 4 cossies on toons, so it's an easy street to go down.

[/ QUOTE ]

Or you can do what I do. Just leave your toon in the hive on cowards hill. That way hes g2g for next raid, and allready in the right costume.

[/ QUOTE ]

Damn right.

[/ QUOTE ]

I allways forget the cowards hill part.

It depends on what you want your scrapper to do.

If you want the best build for a team, the best scrapper is...

An Ice Tank or a /Energy Blaster

[/ QUOTE ]...except that /elec is more damaging than /NRG...

[/ QUOTE ]

Wrong Max, nrg is better. And in PvP it simply doesnt have more damage. Only n00bs take a full melee chain and nrg has much better utility, powerboost, boost range, conserve power.

[/ QUOTE ]NRG is less damaging, due to the fact that elec has more damaging powers. Also, power sink owns conserve. Depending on primary, shocking grasp can be more useful than power boost.

They're both good sets, and in PvP /NRG tends to have the advantage. However, I was merely stating that /elec is more damaging, which it is.

[/ QUOTE ]

So your reason to say elec has more damage is because it has the melee hold? You need to look at the complete set when you talk about damage, what about ice storm working with nrg because powerboost slows the crap out the the mobs in the storm?, so you get 1 monster AoE, where it doesnt work with ice / elec unless your on a team with good aggro control.
Just FYI hero builders numbers are wrong about nrg, its set too low.
After seeing both builds, I am of the opinion ice / nrg has more damage in PvE if you spec for it. Believe me you can make a superb AoE build with Ice because of powerboosted slows which elec does not have.
15. Dont think it will go over as FotM, but my god it looks like a nasty 1 on 1 set.

Best scrapper is spines / regen, unless your PvPing in teams than I prefer spines / sr.
17. Corr's are the best pvp AT in the game for PvPteams. 1 corrupter isnt hard to take down, 2 corrupters can be hard. 5+ and you got your self a walking army. 2 things powerwise wins in PvP thats buffs and damage, corrs brings loads of both to the table.

I was in sirens 1 time on my ice / rad corr and we were getting destroyed, then I started sending tells to every corr I could get my hands on. We buffed up and destroyed all the heroes.
18. Cowards use safe zones, men run into the zone if they need to use a tactical retreat.
19. I misread the topic, villains have just as many if not more uber powers.

But in teams 5-10 people against 5-10 people(same number equal skill min maxed out toons). Heroes are stronger cause their buffs are better because of powerboost and the fact that emps dont have a rooting heal aura where as the villain main healer/buffer(thermal) heal aura roots. Leaving you with a really squishie person unless you get another thermal on the team.
Right now I dont see villains fighting a maxed out hero team at lvl 50 and winning. Hope this clarifies what I meant.
20. Well its doable, other offenders like rad does it a hell of a lot better though.

Becomming FotM oh dear god I hope not.
21. Spines / *.

But if you have to choose a blaster build and not just one that plays like a blaster and does a much better job pick elec / elec if you team or solo go for a single target build on an ice / nrg.
22. Powerboosted buffs > normal buffs = CoH > CoV
23. Good power yes. Game breaking no.
