  1. So if I'm reading correct the bonuses are there all the time? The only ones that need you to click the power or slot in an auto/passive are the ones that have a "chance for" attached? That's pretty cool. Been playin a long time and never knew that... you really do learn something new everyday.
  2. I have gotten alot of contradictory info regarding the way set bonuses work. I tried searching for the info but couldn't find anything recent.

    What I'm asking for is:

    Do the set bonuses work all the time... assuming you are not exemped or anything? ie; if it's in a click power do you have to click the power to get the bonus?

    I would assume that if it's a passive then yes or a toggle then yes as long as the toggle is on.

    I'm asking because I have asked for feedback on builds in the past and I see people offering build help with powers that nobody uses in an attack chain just for the set bonus so I of course got curious and asked one time, the response I got was you don't even need to use the power. I thought this wasn't the case... to get the bonus the click power has to be used.

    Anything you guys and girls in the community can provide to clear this up for me would be greatly appreciated.
  3. As I have learned from others it has to do with survivability. Much like a tank can survive longer than a scrapper (for the most part) but the scrapper can kill quicker. Same basic scenario in theory.
  4. No... they were fine. I just want to see as many different versions that way I can see some variations and pick a few that will work best for my playstayle and go from there.

    Plus that thread broke down pretty fast and made it hard to follow.

    I got a few ideas but the actual build with the data from MIDS makes it easier for me to follow. I'm a visual person so letting me know to 5 slot this and use that enhancement there doesn't help me much.

    Hope that clears up why I started a new thread.

  6. When you finish making your 10k enhancements does the badge you get give you anything? I already have the field crafter and I can't find anything about the fabricator at all. Any help would be great.
  7. Hey everyone... I have another thread asking for feedback on my proposed fire/kin/stone build but it turned into an argument over soft capped defense.

    I'm just hoping to have a few builds dropped my way so I can see how a real /stone should be done.

    I do team still, TF's and such... I do use him for farming primarily though. The usual farms, Battle Maiden, Demons, Freaks. That sorta stuff.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I have hot feet 6 slotted with 3 acc/dam HO's and 3 microfilament HO's. you end up with 95% acc/dam/slow/end red from it.

    I see what you're saying and I have no problems with changing anything in my build to help. I have nothing that I'm not willing to change about this build. I'm going to use it as my 2nd build and keep the fire so that I have the best of both worlds.

    I would be greatly appreciative of any builds you could provide as a guideline.
  11. I make builds based on my experiences. If there is a better way to slot stone I"m all ears. I dont have any qualms about slotting anything differently. I made the thread to elicit feedback and possibly get more options to try. I'll never learn anything new if I never know about it.

    I do team quite a bit. I moslty use Pyro for farming. Battle Maiden, Demons and Freaks. I don't want to go totally farm spec but leaning to that side. I hope that makes sense.

    I did post both the build I run now in the fire/kin/fire build and the proposed fire/kin/stone build I have been tinkering with on test. I have also looked at the /psi combo too but I'm very unfamiliar with it so probably not going with it unless someone can show me a post i16 build that will outdo either /fire or /stone.
  13. It started to work really well. Not quite as much damage as I would like and you would definately have to tweak your attack chain to compensate but it is doable. Getting good at it on test. The damage shows up as damage from fire cages ironically. When I use fulcrum shift and siphon power i get 30 damage per click.... about 10 per click without and that is on even level vills. Anything above even level cons tend to get scattered after about 10 secs no matter how much you spam fire cages.

    I could try putting fire cages on auto and see if that helps.
  14. I spent a large part of my day over on test today trying out a few things. I was wondering what you guys might think about taking Bonfire instead of Cinders? I was thinking I could hit them with fire cages and spam that then drop bonfire which does damage to the mobs but since they are held in place by fire cages they dont get knockback. Any thoughts? Anyone try this?

    NIX this idea unless you really do truly spam fire cages and dont even think about fighting anything above +1 levels or they'll be scattered all over the place! lol

  16. Hey everyone... I was hoping to put this build to the community and elicit some feedback on it.

    I have been thinking about either fire/kin/stone or fire/kin/psi but with i16 coming, MIDS not updated and my unfamiliarity with psi I'm looking mostly at stone for my second build. I have copied over to test several times and tried my luck with psi to mixed results and I have run around with this stone build posted here as well as a half dozen other stone builds I have found posted in the forums and none seem any better or more survivable than my current fire/kin/fire build.

    I can post my current fire/kin/fire build if that would help you provide feedback... just let me know.

  18. I have seen somewhere that the random rolls are only random within certain pools. I was under the impression that if you took a bronze ticket roll you would have x chance to get any recipe. Then I read somewhere else that you had only certain recipes that would be random at bronze, then a different set at silver and yet another different set at gold.

    Could someone clear this up and let me know what I could possibly get by doing a bronze roll, a silver roll or a gold roll?

  22. What is wrong with that price? They are going for 40mil now. I figure a 20mil increase to get one quicker is a fair deal. How much were you wanting?
  23. Seems like many others have posted threads about this very subject and are running the #'s as we discuss this. I have a feeling it's partly because of the way the Devs have set up the coding for the new difficulty slider. I would have to believe that they either have removed the bonuses associated with team size or it is just a bug introduced by the new coding for said slider. Why it is affecting live (if it really is, could just be my data mining) IMO is anyones guess.

  25. Ended up just buying one and then copying over to test to slot it. Looks good. Checked the percentages inthe details and it shows both the end reduction as well as the slow.
