Will Microfilament HO work in Hot Feet?

Not sure about this and I can't seem to find anything specific to the question but here goes.

Will a Microfilament HO (enhances endurance reduction and movement) work in Hot Feet as a slow? I know that the endurance reduction part will but not sure about the slow.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I haven't tested it but from what I know of how HOs function it should work. However doing so is technically considered an exploit by the devs. Paragon Wiki has a quote by Castle on the subject:

Ended up just buying one and then copying over to test to slot it. Looks good. Checked the percentages inthe details and it shows both the end reduction as well as the slow.

It works.

I have seen builds with them in Snow Storm, in the default slot, as well.

Not anymore, I do believe Positron made mention that they were no longer considering HOs unintended secondary effects to be an exploit. I could be wrong though

iirc it's now considered an advantage of HO's.

I've heard that a before but I've been unable to find where he said it. I'd really appreciate a link so that i can update the wiki.

Right around I12 launch, someone brought up the ability to enhance the recharge of Mind Link using Membranes (or def/tohit set IOs with a recharge component). Castle said that was essentially working as intended since they couldn't "fix" that without opening up an entirely new can of worms.

EDIT: Searched Castle's post history, thread's gone.

Thanks, I had a feeling that might be the case. Since fixing it would basically require making several new types of buff/debuff and then updating every single power in the game to use them instead of the current ones I can see why the devs would be hesitant to fix it.
