    Patrick Fury is gonna be looking at 450% Regen on top of his softcap defense, 1800+ HP and Aidself while still be doing 190+ DPS...

    FM/SD - with some decent IO's, it could be built to do just about anything.

    But if it is claws you want... I am currently working on an AV build for a claws/Inv.

    I'm not gonna say anything about DM as I am sure there's gonna be tons of that to follow

    Seriously though, like some had mentioned already. Great single target and great aoe capability. Can't go wrong with this combo.

    Guides are great if you have time to read through them. You could just ask questions here and get answers from many different angles.

    Well I took my claws/inv for a test drive last night on an unfinished build (missing 2 lotg recharge and 2 zephyr). The damage aren't all that great, but wow Marauder could not even come close. Had to use DP once on Chimera as I was going in when he hit me with GD, but after that it was pretty much on cruise control. Still need to work on the accolades to shore up my endurace and get a bit more HP. Now I'm curious to try multiple AV's just to see how many I could do without a self heal outside of DP.

    The closest I've gotten to on that was on my claws/sr. Close as in a few seconds in on that last ambush. When those ladies hit Build Up, which took me down in a blink. That was awhile back though so I'm not sure what kind of changes were made to it since. Might try it with my FM/SD, but if I remember it correctly, you need some kind of +perception to be able to see those things. So my guess is he probably woth last the second ambush.

    the ups...
    170+ dps
    45% s/l def, 37.5% f/c def and 41.9% e/n def with 1 foe on Invincibility
    69.4% s/l res and 21+ exotic res
    1777 HP with all the accolades (cap with DP on)
    314% regen
    sustainable endurance
    Low cost - no purples

    the downs...
    170 dps?
    no hasten or aidself
    DP down for 30 seconds
    Accuracy is a bit low but should be ok
    No aoe capability

    hoping with those numbers and a timely use of DP, that it should be enough to take on AV's.
    I'll start putting the build on live later tonight and depending on the IO availability, should be done by this weekend.


    And by the look of things, I might even have enough for another build... DM/SD maybe??? ;-)

    You're gonna need a lot of recharge to run that chain.
    Let's just say more than perma hasten recharge.
    So you are gonna be needing those purples if you want that chain to be effective.
    That might not be the chain you want for a tough claws/Inv build.

    If he is using his claws/sr, I could imagine its a well rounded build.
    Well Mantis is just a nasty little... well you know. And she's one of the AV's I have not yet put down...

    You know sometimes I wish I had Katana paired up with Inv instead of BS. I can't even dent a pylon on my current build. I just didn't see a good paring visually on a kat/inv.
    A Katana/Inv would just be a nasty...nasty combo

    ele/shield was actually the thingI was saving up for, but since I already have a fire/shield thats going to be built for aoe come i26. So I might still roll me one of those, but it probably won't get a complete build.

    Gonna have to see what kind of build I could cook up with my claws/inv. Doesn't look like it would even be that expensive. Unless I decided to get the pvp IO.

    I am however looking at a very different DM/SD build that if my calculations are correct, could very well reach 330 DPS. I am somewhat tempted to see how it would play out

    Just been bored lately... ;-)

    Well maybe some of you guys could help me out on a new project...
    I have roughly around 1200 merits and 2+ billion of influence just collecting dust...
    My Claws/SR is completely IO'd out. My Fire/Shielder is completely IO'd out.
    My BS/Inv, Kat/Fire, Claws/Regen and Claws/Inv has some decent IO's on them. Enough to run TF and such without completely suckin. I also have a Katana?regen at 50 with just regular IO's

    Now I got some options here as to where I could blow all those to.
    A complete build for any of those 5 I mentioned, or level up a new character.
    Thinking maybe just going with the flow and level up my DM/SD - currently at 19 and been there for some time now. Maybe roll me a MA/SD, since the new animation thing looks like might be the one to have me finally sticking with MA.
    I really have no plans of orlling up the new set coming on i16, so scratch that out.

    Well anyways...
    What do you guys think...

    Could easily pick up Eviscerate and place the purples in there instead of boxing.


    Gonna have to pass on posting the other build as it is slightly better than what I have on live... ;-)

    But since I'm sitting here at work bored out of my mind. I went looking on all my saved up Claws/SR build and came across 1 of BillZ's build, probably from awhile back. Using some things from that build, combined it with Patrick Fury's build...
    Well lets just have the numbers out since I can't post the build at the moment.

    attack chain - Fu->Slash->Focus->Strike (gapless)
    HP with all accolades - 1943
    regen - 398% (32.3 HP/sec)
    damage buff is a tiny bit of 5.5%
    81% of global accuracy
    and here's the kicker --- it has aidself at 39.2% every 7.24 seconds... :-)

    trying to remember the build i had posted... don't have it at work.
    Getting rid of tactis, picking up boxing and tough to be used as a mule. +3 defense on tough would replace the defense we lost. 5 pieces purple on boxing along with 5 slotting red fortune on FS should shore up the recharge we need to replace CI on FU with the BU proc. 4 pieces mako on slash should replace the damage buff lost. With all that, we're gonna be short of 18 HP for 1800, which I seem to be having a hard time making up... :-(

    it is a thing of beauty when those 2 procs go off. Watching Slash followed by Focus hit for 500+ damage on a pylon... I sometimes have to stop and see if there is a kin around... ;-)

    Fault Line AV, the guy with a flame thrower, forgot the guys name. This was back in i9. Was fairly new to the game, and with my very first character - Guin a BS/Inv on the mid to high 20's. Looking back at it, that was probably the event that got me hooked on scrappers. It took me numerous tries, countless deaths. titanic full of inspirations and he was 1 level lower... :-) Can't remember how long it took me, but I remember faceplanting, hitting the hosp button, stopping by the contact to fill up on ins then going back at it. Did that a few times before I finally took him down.



    As for no inspirations/temp... I'd like to say its Marauder, but I don't really remember...

    I might be on the odd side of regen users it looks like... I like that high HP as I tend not to use DP and IH together. When I hit IH, I'd like to survive on just that and save DP when IH is down...

    Ohhh the i12 version of it was just ridiculously flawed as boxing and I think even brawl was slotted up with ToD.
