Just trying to wrap my head around it for future reference.
Two full Mako's Bite sets gives you 3.75% range def x 2 = 7.5% range def. If you didn't have that, range attacks will be hitting you more often. Mako's has a bigger health bonus than Crushing Impact too, along with damage bonus allowing you to kill stuff faster. Crushing Impact has accuracy and recharge bonuses. Ultimately, it depends on what you want your character to do better at, but Mako is better for survivability.

Quite a large thread so I haven't read all of it, but while I know you hate getting hero merits, at least consider getting level 30 Numina and level 20 Miracle uniques to put in your favorite characters in health. Or, if you have as much reward merits as you think you have, use them to get those two uniques. It will help their endurance a LOT.

Why level 30 Numina and level 20 Miracle? Because if you wanted level 50/40, you could just get them from the miracle or attempt to convert them using other IOs, and if you ever get level 50/40s of the, you could unslot the lower level ones to pass over to younger alts to use and replace them with the higher level ones (of which there is no difference in performance, just what level you can slot them in, and they will all work right to level 1).

And in theory this can be applied to an EB.
Suggest it to a Dev if they won't consider making AV/Hero versions of non-Trial Sentinel, Blue Steel, Rularuu/Wade, etc.

Not sure if Enforcer's leadership affects Posse, but your leadership (if you picked them) affects them, along with IO uniques which affect them too.

Do remember though, all Posse spawn two levels before you, AND have -MaxHP and -Res Lethal/Smash, meaning they specifically spawn to have less maximum health than minions, and specifically take more damage from Smash/Lethal attacks.

This is why if you can buff their defences or resists, they can act as an extra meatshield, haha. Specifically why I took Barrier.

    MasterMind Thugs

If you ever choose to Incarnate, Barrier destiny is great on Thugs. Not only are your pets more sturdier and avoid better... but you can even do it to your Posse guys in Gang War, haha.
  5. I wonder if the Scaling power which Incarnate Trial AVs get, which change their maxHP, Damage and Regen according to size of league would work for the EB-only bosses to make them more of a challenge for larger teams?

It's worth PMing a dev about anyway. :3
  6. Did you post in the wrong section by mistake? Shouldn't this be in the MA subforum section?
  7. Arbiter Hawk replied to me saying it appears Thug's Bruiser and Enforcers are bugged, though he didn't say if any other Interfaces still work with them or not. Anyone else got Thugs and other Interfaces to check?

Against actual enemies, Bruiser rarely procs it, a lot less than what 75% chance to proc would seem to suggest. I had him running solo around Grandville smashing things, and the graphic toxic proc rarely showed on enemies.

Enforcers can proc it, but not as often as the Tier 1 Thugs, which is odd... perhaps some attacks aren't flagged to allow Interface to proc?

Against the Rikti practice dummies, it's weird, since the Tier 1 Thugs can proc against them often. In fact, ALL of my non-MMs with Interface can regularly proc against them with the Tier3 or higher Interface.

I don't know if dummies are different but I guess it's a bug if you don't see the toxic DoT on regular enemies. I know Reactive works.
Did you test each tier individually?

If I remember, I'll take my ninja/ff out. They use reactive.
For all intents and purposes, the practice dummies are enemies. You can see the procs triggering by the graphical display each proc has.

Right now, post-Issue22, it's affecting part of Thugs and Degenerative, so I need people with MMs to help test. Whatever they did to fix Lore Pets and Interface apparently broke MM Pets and Interface, haha.
  11. I actually made a thread about this in the i22 bug section, but thought I should inform people anyway. :3

I've been doing a bit of testing with my Thugs/Dark MM using the Rikti practice dummies post-issue22, and they barely seem to be triggering Degenerative Radial Flawless Interface (75% proc toxic, 25% debuff HP). Using my MM's personal attacks, it triggers fine, but the pets seem a bit off.

BRUISER: I had the Bruiser fighting against the dummy for five full minutes and it didn't even trigger once.

ENFORCERS: The Enforcers are the same way, they cannot trigger Interface either after fighting for five minutes.

THUGS AND ARSONIST: The Thugs and Arsonist individually tested, trigger it as normal.

GANG WAR: All Posse members can trigger Interface.

Is this working as intended or is either Degenerative or Thugs bugged? It seems odd that only the Tier1 pets can trigger Interface while the Tier2 and Tier3 can't. If someone has other MM classes or Interfaces, could they help test it please?
So input your data and findings and hopefully we can see if this is working as intended or not. o_O
  12. As a quick test, I pulled out my Crab Spider who has Degenerative Radial Flawless Interface as well, to see if it's not just Masterminds:

SUMMON SPIDERLINGS: All Spiderlings can trigger Interface.

SUMMON REINFORCEMENTS: All Disruptors can trigger Interface (when they use their attacks, their holds and immobilizes can't, which is working as intended since they're not attacks).

SUMMON BLASTER: The Arachnobot Blaster can trigger Interface.

ARACHNOS TOTAL CORE IMPROVED ALLY: Tarantula Essence can trigger Interface. Bane Spider Essence can trigger Interface.

  14. I like his dialogue from the future in the patron arcs.

    Ghost Widow's one, for example...

Before combat: "I stand now in my Triumph! Destroyer of Statesman! Ruler of the world!"
Combat start: "10 years ago you disappeared, and at that moment I knew this day would come."
"Now you will die, 'Destined One'!"
75% Health: "Your powers are nothing compared to my own!"
50% Health: "You have angered me, Character! You will suffer for it!"
25% Health: "I will not fall! Not against you!"
    Defeated: "I am Lord Recluse!"
    "It is impossible!"
"I cannot be defeated like this..."
Defeats player: "You were nothing to be afraid of. NOTHING!"

The sentence which he utters if he defeats you, omg.

Ouch. Maybe if you get Dink to modify it a bit so it's not quite so identical, and call it a different name?
  17. Seven or eight of my scrappers/brutes are mutants who all share the same 'created by Crey as a female clone of my tank' origin story. Honestly thinking back on it, the clones should have been Science-origin, but at the time, I was thinking they were 'born' with varied powers. Oh well, I'll live with it. :3

(And yes, I know the whole reveal at the end of the Underground Trial. But even with that, he was still the last true line of defense).

The answer, I guess, is that it doesn't matter; Everyone's already dead. Oh well... hopefully Desdemonda was still in the tunnels with the Resistance or something, so they could be taken out too...
Considering how upset Cole was when he first heard his home town Shroud City was nuked, I hope there's some reasoning he went back to the nuke option.

Also, Shadowhunter - I hope we discover how he survived the Devouring Earth which apparently finished him off according to Tina.

Diabolique, Mother Mayhem, Malaise and Penelope Yin (as Penelope Mayhem) have already showcased being bigger than normal, haha.

It's going to be weird if the devs continue on with this idea - we'll be fighting a Praetorian version of Statesman who's maybe 6'2" on character creation scale, but Tyrant will probably be 20 feet tall.
    Argh, I knew it XD
  20. I'd rather have the person who has the star in a team of four or more have 20ft range tohit/dam/rech/def buff, similar in a way to supremacy for Masterminds, but applied to the leader and any of his team near him. The buffs doesn't have to be big, just an incentive for someone to actually have the star and lead. I remember in tons of games, nobody wants the star. With this, now they will. XD
  21. Are you trying to combine normal versions with synthetic versions?
  22. Stalker's Guile as a full set has quite a bit of recharge value, and has global recharge bonus to boot. Add that with your other global recharge and Assassin's Strike, if slotted into that power, should recharge pretty quickly.

Of course, this playstyle generally means you'll be wanting to use Assassin's Strike outside of hide more often than not to take advantage of the proc (start off AS in hidden, it procs and you go hidden again, use Soaring Dragon for hidden crit, follow up with attack and Golden Dragonfly, if AS is recharged by then, use it with assassin's focus x3 to crit, go hidden again, etc...)

If you both have access to IOs, shield alts can become pretty sturdy. Consider making a shield scrapper to compliment your wife's character, and pick a different weapon like broadsword or axe. That way, you both get to play with shield charge which is a lovely power.

    Pros and Cons of Stone:

Pros: Has lots of resistance and defences, arguably the strongest when it comes to survival
Cons: Reduced damage, reduced recharge, reduced movement speed when using tier9 granite mode, many stone toggles cover costume, granite replaces it completely

    Pros and Cons of Energy:

Pros: Defences can be softcapped, multiple tools to recover endurance
Cons: Light resistances, toxic and psi holes, stealth toggle hides your costume

At most she'll lose the sword, since that tiny little thing is meant to be Excalibur. The belt, however, is her 'Liberty belt', also known as the Girdle of Hera, which is the major source of her powers. This is why the Orestes Rifle is particularly effective on her, as it nullifies enchantments granted by the Well of the Furies. However, ingame lore says it has no effect on Statesman or Recluse, who are proper Incarnates.
  25. Haha, if I remember right, Maelstrom is Martial Arts, but uses the OLDSCHOOL animations which players no longer have access to. o_O
