My account doesn't have the European tag in brackets, so I guess it's a NA account. Which is weird since I always thought it was European and was buying the european version of all the packs and boosters.
I guess I can't have my Power Slide then. -
Is there a way to find out if my account is EU or NA? I'm european, and I also have a City of Heroes Deluxe code and I wanted to knowif I could use the code.

I'll explain myself:
The latest VFX for fire is awesome. But we still got some old "not as nice as new one" VFX for fire. I mean, fire blast, fire aura, melee, etc...
All should look the same kind of effect. We got awesome VFX for Pyronic judgment and very ugly VFX for Blazing aura or Fir shield.
Same for Dark, Elec...
Please use the same VFX for the same element! Update fire powers FX please. -
I decided to roll another SoA and the toon's concept goes very well with the NW trees, as he's an assassin with uncontrolled and thus mostly underpowered psychic powers. However, since NW don't get the Fury clwas which I love, I can easily retcon him into something else, but would prefer to stay between the two SoA AT's.
Since, I haven't rolled a Widow before, I would like to now what to expect, how good a NW is, whether I should go with a melee Fort instead, and most importantly what will I lack, in which areas will my toon underperform?
Also, would a different SoA build offer more, and which would be better for TFs, teaming and end-game content?

I don't get people who go all "Doooom!" because "Oh no! Dollface mind-controlled me! Bad writing! My character doesn't have a brain/Is too powerful/Is a god so this shouldn't have happened!".
Well, if you roleplay a god, then your roleplaying is weaker that the "bad" writing. How would you react to someone who wants an option to cancel incoming damage, because their character is immortal/invulnerable or to remove all mentions of colour because their character is colour-blind?
I liked the Dr. Graves' arcs a lot and it was a nice options for the not-so-serious/paranoid/comic-relief/low-profile/clumsy/decieving kind of villain. For my part, I assumed my character was just acting along and pretending to the dullest tool in the shed, just to trick everyone else into revealing more info that they would otherwise. I enjoyed the outcome a lot and it fitted my toon like a glove. -

Look, it's nice that you guys hold a CC for people, but does it really have to be on just that server?
Not everyone moved to Exalted, not even with the monthly server transfers we get. I for one, avoid that server like the plague, the server transfers are collecting dust, and get more and more frustrated by the fact that the majority of the player base and it's servers are being neglected.
Yes, i'm a VIP, but does that mean i HAVE to move to the VIP only server? It seems that with the monthly server tokens we get, you, the Devs, would like to see that.
I have my toons, my SG and my friends on Guardian, i am not moving, no matter how many free server transfers you try to cram on my account.
I've seen a lot of people complain about these free tokens.
Yes, i totally understand the idea behind it, and i'm thankful that we get a little extra for being a VIP. All i want, and not just me, is a choice, is freedom. I hope that in the near future, we can either trade the server transfers we received, or, what i really hope, that we get a choice in a reward.
Look, it doesn't have to be the same value, really it doesn't.
Say we can pick from:
- Free Server Transfer
- Free Server Slot
- Free Respec Token
- Paragon Points (400-600)

please stop neglecting the servers that build this wonderful game.
As for the free server tranfers, I personally use them as free rename tokens. -

Ok, n00b question. Why is Rhode Island always excluded from these contests? I always found it humorous given it the state where Paragon City is supposed to be located and all. (I'm European so please excuse my ignorance).

Let's me start by sayingthat I bought all 3 powers, and already rolled a Rikti and a PPD toon, which will stay transformed all of the time.
That been said, I had an idea. You know how we have unique heads(pumpkin) and unique tops(toga). How about unique costumes? Basically everytime you purchase one of these powers you gain 2 things: First, the normal transformation power for your toons to dress and roleplay and switch from one form to another. Second, you unlock a unique costume in the costume creator. When you select that costume from the list, you can't customise anything (or maybe only colour same parts), and can only add weapons, shields and auras. That way nothing clips with anything and you don't lose your costume when activating stealth powers, Rocket Board, Walk, visiting the tailor, etc.
What do you guys think? -
Personally, I always remve help from my global tab and put it in one of those numbered tabs. That way I always have help open without havimg it to cram my global tab.

As for DA's on-paper max performance, I specifically asked for something like this because, every time I managed to find Secondary info and comparisons, they always seemed to calculate max survivable DPS for all resistance sets the same way, and I think that's unfair for DA.
I know it's as far from reality as you can get, but I usually very roughly compare secondaries by calculating the absolutely maximum performance of each set and halving that.
I like DA and its unique playstyle. I'm planning to roll a TW/DA scrapper. With the Parry cone and the amount of knockback coupled with DA's layered protection, I think it will be a very survivable toon, while the abundance of AoE in the primary and the dmg aura in the secondary will make fast work of the already mezzed minions. And I always love a stealth power. End will be a problem though, but I hope Body Mastery+Cardiac will help to solve that. -
Can we get a flower petals aura and a playing cards aura? I don't know how easy it would be for these to be implemeted, but the modles already exist in-game as part of emotes. And if this ever happens, and we get a cards aura, please don't make the cards similar to Tarot, with glowing and sparkles the same colour as the cards, leave them uncolourable and let us colour the trails only (with black making them invisible).
Also, is it possible for auras to leave objects on the ground, like emotes do? Maybe they'll last for a second or two before fading, but showing that they land on the floor and disappearing immediately instead of going through it is enough to make these auras look more realistic (I'm talking about Tarot, Leaves, Clunker and Feathers. I'm not sure if there is another Ayra that includes objects falling on the floor.)
Also, Dark Armor/Dark Embrace doesn't work properly with the No Fade or Pulse option. My character still pulses black.
Finally, please PLEASE, make a Combat version of the new Bats aura.

Anyone has any numbers handy* showing how much dps a soft-capped Dark Amour scrapper can absorb, so that they're left with 1 hp after 10 sec, at which time they hit DR and go back to full health to start over again? I think these is how DA's top performance should be compared to other sets.
*Or at least show me how I can calculate it myself >_>. It's not the math I'm having problem with, but how defense and res work exactly. -
Any particular reason why Dark Armour always seems to get the cold shoulder?

I tried again and again, liked and disliked the page about 6 times, and reloaded a dozen more, and got nothing. Just a pic of Maelstrom thumbing me up and a "Loading Code" bar. I hope we get another chance and that it works next time

I don't know if it is WAI that we're able to view all Incarnate power animation during character creation (by clicking on the list while loading a power customization file even if the character doesn't have access to any Incarnate powers), but it's awesome and helped me choose my Lore pets after seeing every possible choice for free. Awesome feature, please don't remove if it's a bug of sth.
So how long were we able to do that? I guess the new UI changed how some things work? -
Did you already make every single Dominator combo possible? If not, go back to your cave and stop wasting our time.
If Doms get another Assault set, it's very likely Blasters will get another Manipulation set, too. If they get a control primary, Controllers get it, too. There is no way to outnumber either, and the only reason both of these ATs have so many combos is because there are more buff and blast sets compared to control sets. Big deal.. -
This game has an incredible amount of power combinations, and most of them don't include any kb powers. If you hate knockback so much, pick one of those.
If you absolutely want to choose a kb heavy powerset for thematic reasons, then learn to work with what you've got and around your weaknesses. You can pick Hover or Fly and turn that knockback to knockdown by flying high and blasting at the right angle. If you don't want your character to fly, make sure to carefully position your toon or find a near wall or corner and blast your foes towards it. If you can't do that either, you can wait till a Controller/Dominator uses their AoE immob powers or use your own immob from your APP/PPP and then blast to your heart's content. If all fails, try to use heavy kb/low dmg powers as less as possible and only use the most damaging ones to finish enemies only.
Either learn to work with what you get or try something else. Every game should have some kind of challenge, and asking the devs to change the way a power works so that you won't have to sweat even a little bit to make it work, seems kinda stupid to me.
Also, if you think you can use kb intelligently, while other don't and mess your strategies, Null won't change that, because it would still be up to them whether to use that feature or not. -
If you're suggesting that you can change how external buffs look on your client, then I'm ok with it, but you already know how your costume looks like, so devs could instead spend their time on something more meaningful.
However, if you're suggesting changing how buffs look for everyone, so that even the buffer sees his force bubbles, shields. etc the colour other ppl picked them to be, then no, just NO. It's unacceptable allowing other players to determine how your powers work or look, especially when you're a buffer and you can't know whether your shields expired or not, since each and every teammate of yours is buffed with a different coloured shield, a different animation or none at all. -

Then we're a crowd, since one of the main reasons I hate my Carnie Mallet wielding brute is the free hand, especially when that mallet has a handle long enough to ride as a broomstick, let alone grasp with your second hand.
